Went silent on me. Never responded with a quote as promised. No response to additional inquiries. Not a good way to do business.

Called these guys after a family member backed into my garage door while pulling the car out. Scheduled a time for them to come out the day after I talked to them. They sent 2 technicians who quickly repaired the damage, replacing a broken hinge and resetting my garage door on the track. Charged me a service fee ( around 125, i think?) and for 15$ for replacement hinge. They suggested i replace the plastic wheels on my garage door track to prolong the life of the motor, but weren't pushy when I said no. Can't blame them for seeing an upsell opportunity and asking, and appreciate that they didn't push on it. Overall took less than 30 minutes total from the time they got here. Had a good experience with them and would recommend them if you're in a similar situation and need garage door repair. read more

They returned our call within a half hour and made arrangements to come by the following morning (since I didn't feel it was emergent). Was having trouble with both garage doors, which are 23 years old. After finding reference to ASAP Garage Doors in our neighborhood FB portal- I called late Tuesday 8/3 and arranged for quote next day. Spencer called to verify appt and then arrived spot on time and conducted a thorough and rigorous investigation and wrote up a quote and explained in detail every step of the process and the reason behind each component to be replaced. Ended up replacing all springs, cables and rollers as they were pretty well worn out.....replaced 1 side with torsion bar/spring but didn't have enough over-head space to do this on the other door so he replaced with new tension springs and both work perfectly closing evenly and level and flush with much less noise. Spencer was very efficient, courteous and professional. He put everything back in place and cleaned up area perfectly. Then he agreed to 1st time user Discount and an all cash pmt. discount! Gus runs a first rate operation. Showed up within an hour of my call. Fully explained what needed repairing or replacement as well as the prices of my options. I had a choice of 3 doors. The cheapest did not sound like a good option (you generally do get what you pay for). He then explained that he had installed the more expensive option at his own house and that the floor of his bedroom above the garage as noticeably warmer. I decided to go with that option. I could not be happier. They called to confirm their arrival prior to scheduled time (nice touch). Work was completed and they left no trace. Owner beware! I used Gus before and he was prompt, thorough and fairly priced. Just recently I requested his help again. He was only at my house about 15 minutes and charged me $150!!! (I live in a nice neighborhood). He also quoted me a huge sum for what he told me was wrong with my garage door. I decided to get a second opinion from the my original company that installed all my doors. Not only was the issue with my door small and inexpensive to fix, what Gus quoted me was $600 more that what it would have cost to replace those items (which my doors didn't need). I rarely write reviews, but I'm hoping to save someone else from ASAP Garage Doors bad morals and business. read more
