We were surprised to hear that we would have a completed project by October and they followed through and made it happen. The planning stages went smoothly. A contract with Archadeck WNC was signed in 4/2023 with a significant deposit required at the…read moresigning of the contract for trex flooring and installation as well as conversion of a covered porch to a sunroom with installation of new ceilings Work began in October 2023. the contract stated prefinished T+G for the ceilings Without approval from the homeowner, unfinished product was installed with Archadeck using then a "painter" to stain unfinished already installed ceiling material. In Archadeck's own words, it looked like a "s--- show", in reference to the painter's attempted staining. Promises made but promises not kept to replace the ceilings. 8 months later (actually 1 yr since work first began) the ceilings remain unfinished and with no contact from Archadeck in months and no response from Archadeck To inquiries. One could only conclude that Archadeck had abandoned the project, reflecting thus on the ethics and professionalism of this company, as well as the Quality of its product sold. I would strongly encourage readers of this review to look elsewhere for a decking and outdoor contractor.
