I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. They are not knowledgeable about their trade, their dispatchers, management and technicians do not pay attention to detail, and ultimately they cannot get the job done and left me with a costly mess! I had contacted them yesterday about my situation and it was simple: I lost the one key I had for my mailbox. I needed the lock removed and a new lock installed... simple enough. After the appointment was scheduled, when the technician arrived, I take him to the mailbox and he asks me where the key is. If I had the key I wouldn't have scheduled a service call, right? He proceeds to tell me that the notes from the dispatchers were that I "needed a duplicate key made." If I needed a duplicate key, I'd go to Home Depot or the local CVS. He says he can fix it but it will cost more than twice the original quote. I wasn't happy with the miscommunication on their part but allowed him to continue. After drilling and hammering away at the lock for 30 minutes he tells me he doesn't have the right equipment and will need to come out tomorrow, and the office will call me to arrange. Fast forward to today, the new technician (not the same guy) comes out and has no idea the first guy was there. He then seems unhappy that his own company didn't properly communicate the situation and asks if I already paid, etc. he then quotes me another amount almost double of the previous night ( which was double what I was originally quoted!!! ) I'm now being coerced into paying almost 4 times the original quote! I thought these guys were great. Saturday came around and I had a bit too much fun... Lost my car keys and didn't have any idea where to look, I have a Ford F150. So I called around started getting quotes from dealers that were just way too high. Online said locksmiths can do it for cheaper, so after calling around again these guys had the best calltime and seemed the most confident about doing the job. Not only did they do it for less money but I didnt have to get my car towed to some dealer which wouldve costed even more money. So the guy showed up opened and started working with his computer to construct a key, he seemed to very much know what he was doing, he was respectful around my car and nice to me. Took him about 45 minutes tops to make the key. He seemed like a good guy and honest, came to do the job and do it right. I didn't see any problems with this company, the Came at the time they said they would, didnt overcharge. I saved a hundred bucks, no random unexpected charge on my card or anything and I didnt have to get my car towed and wait till the next day, a good deal to me. Well recommended. read more

5 stars for Nathan! Called about a lockout late at night. Key broke off in the lock. Nathan was at my place quickly, and super nice. Once he picked the key out, I asked if he could also pick the lock for me to get in. Before he did, he was very honest about all the costs so far (the $15 technician fee and the $45 cost for the labor) and the costs moving forward if I wanted to continue with my new request. (I guess they are technically different requests, so just know that in general when dealing with a locksmith.) Totally awesome, that he was honest about it all. Sounds like other people had bad luck with other technicians who didn't inform them of additional costs. Nathan is amazing and if you call, be sure to ask for him. I will 100% be asking for Nathan if I ever need another locksmith. read more

I recently needed a quick re-key of 6 locks. ASAP Locksmith gave me a two-hour lead time, but they were here within an hour and a half of my call. They changed 6 locks in lightening speed. In addition to the prompt service, they're super nice, very professional and has their customer's interest at heart. They're VERY affordable. I've been a Rental Property Manager for over 10 years and have used other company's like Reed Brothers, etc., for re-keys, lock changes, etc. ASAP locksmith is way quicker! Their service is top notch. I will definitely use them again and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends and other property managers. read more

Like the pure genius I am, I locked myself out the house. I called a number of companies, and they were all unreasonable given the type of work I needed (easy bottom lock job), plus the average wait time was 30 minutes. I finally got to ASAP Locksmith, and not only did they charge me a good price, Ron (the locksmith) got here within 10 mins and I was back in my place with 3 mins upon his arrival. He was efficient and pleasant. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to use one, but if not, ASAP will be who I call. read more

ASAP Locksmith went out of their way to make sure we got the spare part for our door handle system so that we would not have to replace the whole handle with something new that did not match our door (which is a really old model). Not only did they do a good job, but it was at a reasonable price compared to other Locksmiths and they kept us up to date during the short wait for the spare part. I called ASAP Locksmith when I accidentally locked myself out of my garage. Leo showed up within 20 minutes of my original call and handled a very difficult problem very quickly. There was no door or window leading into the garage. Using a variety of different tools, with elegant precision, Leo triggered the garage to unlock and manually lifted it open. He then helped me jump-start my car after it wouldn't start. He was courteous, respectful, and happy to help. Money well spent. read more

I tried getting a locksmith in Long Beach to come look at our vintage door for 4 days. I called ASAP and literally with in an hour Leo came to investigate what needed to be done. He then sourced out a vintage replacement to save our door. Although it was pricey, thus is the issue in keeping vintage hardware. But the service, parts, and time spent working was amazing.
