Got in touch, they sent a technician over in about 20min exactly, the technician had spent over 30min trying to open to bottom lock, and he was successful, i almost had my doubts, but he pulled it off, and i was just amazed by the technicality. He gave me a great deal of replacing the bottom lock, and re-installing a new lock, which was going to be a different key, but he gave me another awesome to deal to have 1 key work for a different top and bottom lock. I would not recommend this locksmith. I contacted them for a sheriff lockout, and instead of providing a standard service quote, they stated they would charge $2 per minute just to wait for the sheriff to arrive. That will be $120 an hour for sheriff to arrive. read more

Too bad this is the only locksmith close to us, because they can't (or won't ) do what they claim to do. I needed a key duplicated. The FIRST THING on the Yelp list of things they claim to do is "Key duplication." But when I asked for a quote, the response I got was "Unable to service: I'm booked for this time." For what time? You claim to be available 24/7 but don't have 10 minutes during business hours to duplicate a key? So I called and a woman answered "Hello?" Hello? Really? I asked if I'd reached Northridge Lock & Key and she said "Yes." So I asked if I could get a key duplicated and she said they don't do that. Well if that's the case you need to TAKE IT OFF YOUR SERVICES LISTED. I still considered giving them two or three stars since most of the reviews seem to be four or five stars and it sounds like they've done some good work for other people. But if three stars = "OK," two = "Could've been better," and one = "Not good," I can't give them any more than one star because they had bad service before I even had a chance to use them. What an amazing company. I called them at 2pm and a locksmith was sent at 5pm the Sam day. Ron was the most punctual locksmith I've dealt with. He switched and lock and rekeyed a lock in less than 45 minutes. It was GREAT!!!! It allowed me to run my business without major interruptions.
