All the teachers have been great and my daughter loves them, Ms. Tina the director and Ms. Erica the assistant director have always been very helpful answering my MANY questions and fixing any concern I've had. Dropping my daughter off at the beginning was really hard but now she usually runs in excited to play with her friends and she's been learning so much. Receiving live updates/pictures/ videos is also something I love and look forward to. Thank you to the Kindercare team for taking such good care of my baby, making sure she's safe and happy and also for making me feel like a priority as well!

His teachers really seem to love and care for him and the other kids in his class. I've witnessed all cleanliness and proper care procedures being followed when I'm there (which is at random times during the day). They are super accommodating and allow us to attend part time, 3 days a week, with reduced tuition. The director Tina is very nice and seems to have the place in good control. I was really against daycares (preferred a nanny) and toured many before settling on this one. We are please with our decision. I decided to leave a review because the one star review about the smell made it look like this was a dumpy school, but I've never smelled that and my son is in the infant room where kids are peeing and pooping in their diapers all day. I know it's helpful to hear another parents experience when deciding on a daycare for your little one so I figured I would share mine.

When my…read morematernity leave ended and it was time to return to work, I was overwhelmed with the idea of leaving my daughter in someone else's hands. My daughter has been going to Shazia's daycare since she was just 8 months old, and I can say with complete confidence that it was one of the best decisions we've made as a family. From the very first visit, I remember feeling such a sense of calm in her space. The environment was peaceful, organized, and full of warmth. You could immediately tell this was a home filled with love and care. As a first-time mom, I knew I didn't want to send my daughter to a large, chaotic center. I wanted her in a nurturing home setting where she could feel safe and cherished, and that's exactly what Shazia has created. Shazia and her team are incredibly loving and attentive. They treat the children like family and go above and beyond to support each child's growth. She has been there for every single milestone and has played such an important role in my daughter's development. From helping her eat healthy, home-cooked meals to encouraging interactive play through music and dance classes, Shazia has truly helped my daughter thrive. One day I asked my daughter where her nose was and, to my surprise, she pointed right to it. Then she showed me where her eyes, mouth and head were too. I had no idea she even knew those things, but Shazia had been teaching her. It's moments like these that make me realize just how much she's learning and growing every day under Shazia's care. I am endlessly grateful for the love, patience, and attention Shazia has shown our daughter. I wish she could stay with her forever. Any parent would be lucky to have their child in Shazia's daycare. She has become such an important part of our lives and we are so thankful for her.

I remember dropping her off the first day, leaving in tears and receiving a text message shortly thereafter with a picture of my happy baby to reassure me that she was ok. In her 2 1/2 years being cared for by Shazia, she never cried on drop-off but occasionally did during pick-up because she wanted to stay -- this made our hearts happy. We never worried because we knew she was loved and cared for at her second home by her second mommas. We were blessed to find such an amazing place and will be forever grateful for all they taught our little one. Having to leave because kids grow and have to move on brings yet another storm of emotions, but we know our little one is prepared to take on the world's next challenge because of the knowledge, compassion and care provided during her time at Children's Zone. We are immensely grateful to have formed such a great bond with such a great group of people and recommend them to anyone needing a loving and nurturing environment for their babies/toddlers. If you are searching for the best opportunity in care for your infant or toddler, I can tell you…read morewith conviction that Ms. Muditha's Stepping Stone Montessori is it. As first-time parents while I worked from home, we were initially considering a nanny share, and I am so glad we found Ms. Muditha instead. Her warmth and professionalism along with her expertise in childhood development and Montessori education will instantly put you at ease. Her influence on your child will be evident as they demonstrate the incredible knowledge and habits they've learned through routine, instructional play, mealtime, potty training, naptime (read: sleep training), and so much more. She takes every opportunity to teach your child. I witnessed my son learn and develop so many practical life skills, motor skills, language, music, yoga, outdoor play, manners and more than you could imagine. At first I was anxious about my infant's safety with toddlers around but quickly understood Stepping Stone had that under control, and it didn't take long to realize my son was learning from the older children's example. Our son loved going to see his friends at Stepping Stone every day - from infancy until Ms. Muditha told us he was ready to move on to preschool. I cherish my time in knowing her, her staff and her family. While my son has been fortunate to have had wonderful caregivers and educators since, some of their names have been forgotten and their influence less noticeably impactful. Our family is eternally grateful and blessed that our son's formative early years were in Ms. Muditha's loving care.

My wife and I spent countless hours searching within a 10 mile radius of Burke for the best daycare. We couldn't find a single place, with availability, that checked all of our boxes until we found Stepping Stone Childcare. When our daughter started she was nine months old and not crawling efficiently (yet). Now Maddie is 14 months and running nonstop! Everyday she comes home with new signs or words and it's fascinating to see her grow; I know this is due to the care she's receiving by Ms. Muditha! Ms. Muditha has turned her entire basement into a baby/toddler paradise with a section for older children in her Montessori program. Now there's also an awesome play area setup outside where kids can enjoy outdoor activities. On top of our list of perks is communication and Ms. Muditha sets the standard for amazing communication; we get daily updates with what Maddie did and photos.

I couldn't imagine leaving my babies with someone and trusting and knowing that they would be loved and cared for as well or better than I can myslef. From the first time my husband and I met Ms Rati and her husband Mr. KC we could tell they were very warm, nurturing and open people. They have a well cared for childcare center that is clean and well organised with tons of books and toys appropriate for newbors up to 3 year olds. They also have a nice backyard where the children can play and get fresh air. I was still nervous to leave my babies but after the first week I realized how lucky we were. Ms Rati and her family care for my children as if they were their own. There is rarely any crying and their faces light up every morning when they see Ms. Rati. The KC's are very thoughtful and try to make everything easy for busy and tired parents. Ms. Rati always launders soiled clothes and washes bottles so there is no need to be hauling supplies back and forth. After my twins were ready to start eating I was astonished once again at the extra time and care that Ms. Rati takes in preparing healthy food. Everything is made from scratch and it centers around fruits and vegitables. I know how lucky we are now to have found such a wonderful family daycare. I feel like we have more than a daycare, we have expanded our family.

Being used to the eclectic and energetic vibes of city life, we had inhibitions in how she would take to attending such a small and quiet school. Along with her previous classmates and guides, she was used to walking the streets of Brooklyn, taking the ferry to Manhattan, and walking to various public parks. When we arrived to see Guidepost Montessori at Fairfax, we were struck by its quaintness. The children have their own play area in the back of the schoolhouse, surrounded by a picket fence. It is intimate, yet spacious enough for all of the children to enjoy. The school is very clean and organized. The classrooms are set up in typical Montessori fashion, with the added charm of displayed artwork made by the pupils. The faculty takes the time to decorate for the seasons and holidays. The most charming and wonderful aspect of this school is the faculty. From the Head of School, the Administrative Director, to the Lead Guides, Assistant Guides and After School guides, everyone is kind, caring, patient and gentle, and respectful. They immediately treated our family as one of their own. They are the reason our daughter loves going to school each day. She has flourished under their care and guidance and we cannot thank them enough.
