I never expected such progress within that window of time. The price is more than reasonable based on what you receive... A continuous communication loop, top notch tutors, online reports, progress monitoring and current technology. Although we elected the Skype sessions based on our schedules, in-person is available. I forgot to mention group sessions online where you can get homework assistance on any subject matter. They also proof papers. One stop shopping in the comfort of your home. If you need a service and can carve out the resources for A+... Do it! Will we use them again? Yes, yes and yes! I always use yelp for things I'm searching for but have never written a review. A+ was that important.

The A+ Club's approach to studying habits and learning is very unique and goes past just basic organization and habit breaking. Mr. Bromley will even talk about different ways of learning and he's very experienced with what he does. Overall, their services are great, work well, and come at reasonable costs. One of the most important things about this service compared to others is the more personal approach, they are always more than happy to work with you and help you get to your goals. I would recommend Tutor Troops to anyone looking to improve their ACT/SAT scores in preparation for college. Hasan sat down with our son initially to establish what course of action was better for him prior to proceeding with the tutoring session. I think that was very beneficial to him in the long term, as some students are better at Science than English, and if so, it's better to take the ACT. I highly recommend the school for anyone trying to brush up on their Spanish or even learn from zero. I needed to take my Spanish to the next level in preparation for a new job, so I worked with Tara to customize my classes to focus on my weakest skills. I took her placement test and shared the areas where I new I needed to improve most. She created a custom syllabus for me that covered grammar, culture, common expressions, basic literature/short films...it was impressive. Also, all the student materials are saved and accessed from OneDrive, which makes out of class study really easy. This school is great in general about taking advantage of technology (like Quizlet and OneDrive) so that you can get as much extra study as you want. Tara was an excellent instructor. Really fun to work with and a solid understanding of Spanish grammar. For example, I've been speaking Spanish for over a decade and for the FIRST time learned that I had been making several grammar mistakes for years and never been corrected. It was crazy! So many things make so much more sense now. I also had the chance to take a few weeks of class with Mari Carmen, one of the Alexandria private instructors. SHE IS AMAZING. If you're taking private classes, request Mari Carmen. She has decades of experience teaching at FSI, a fun spunky personality, and an incredible grasp of the Spanish language. She is great for learning many of the language nuances that only a native speaker would pick up on (e.g. todos los días vs. Cada día OR the use of pensar vs. creer). The Alexandria location is clean and cozy with lots of natural light and is always stocked with coffee (big win!). Plenty of street and public parking, so that was never a problem at least for me. In summary, I'd say to give WorkLife Spanish a shot. Personally, I was really dissatisfied with the customer service of the massive language schools in DC and Arlington, and found WorkLife Spanish to be a refreshing breath of a excellent tailored language education. I know I certainly learned a TON...my Spanish is the best it has ever been. While I haven't taken any of the group classes, I did meet several of the group class instructors at a happy hour event and they also seemed fun and effective (at least the other students seemed to think so!).

Terrible experience with customer service…read more Booked a private session early in the AM on a weekday, and before 7:30AM the same day realized I had booked a session the day of, rather than a week out. Reached out expecting to be able to reschedule since it was before business hours and was told that I would be charged a $55 fee since the instructor had already been dispatched. Given all this occurred before their posted business hours, it seems unlikely that an instructor for an evening course was already waiting for me by 7:30AM and couldn't possibly have been rescheduled. Sad to see such short-sighted greed get in the way of common sense, but good for them for literally earning $55 in their sleep.

I enrolled my daughter at this location with high expectations for a safe, nurturing, attentive,…read moreand structured learning environment. Unfortunately, my experience over time raised several concerns that ultimately led to me seeing the truth about this location. One of my primary concerns was basic hygiene and attentiveness. On multiple occasions, I picked my daughter up with visible food residue still on her face. I also observed dried nasal discharge on her face and even on the back of her hand, as if she had attempted to clean herself. I began noticing similar issues with other children as well, including children walking around with excessively runny noses for extended periods without staff intervention. I'm sure this is why the kids are always sick. In addition, there appeared to be a lack of situational awareness when it came to children's comfort and supervision. There were times where clothing did not seem appropriate for the weather, which further reflected a lack of attentiveness to individual needs. They would take the children outside without coats while it's cold. More concerning were multiple safety incidents involving my daughter that were handled in an extremely dismissive manner. One incident I personally witnessed on camera involved another child pushing my daughter three times back-to-back until she fell to the ground, while a teacher stood directly beside them without intervening. Later that same day, I noticed a bruise on my daughter's leg. When I reported this to the director, Erin, I was told the video showed my daughter "falling into the teacher's lap," which did not align with what I personally observed on camera. I was also informed that no incident report would be completed because the injury was not from the neck up. Another incident involved my daughter being struck in the head with a toy by another child, leaving her with a swollen bruise and lump that was black, blue, and purple. At pickup, staff appeared very nonchalant about the situation, simply stating that they "put ice on it" and that these things were "normal." While discussing this incident with staff, another child nearby was actively biting another child while staff stood around without immediately intervening. When I pointed this out, the response I received was dismissive instead of reassuring. I also observed what appeared to be inconsistent treatment and favoritism within the center. When I inquired about my daughter transitioning to the next classroom as she approached the appropriate age, I was told it would not be possible because of lack of space and something regarding the way they pick who goes to the next class. However, I personally observed the director's granddaughter transition out of the same classroom within approximately 2-3 weeks. She doesn't talk, isn't potty trained and is only two months older than my daughter. Her mom confirmed these things to me personally. This raised concerns for me regarding whether policies and opportunities were being applied equally to all families. In addition to these concerns, I often was dismissed when attempting to advocate for my child. Erin's communication style frequently came across as condescending, defensive, racist and lacking empathy whenever concerns were raised. Rather than feeling supported as a parent, I often left interactions feeling unheard and uncomfortable. I also recorded my second raised concern that I had with Erin. So if anyone wants proof on the way she handles things, I will send you the video! There were also instances where staff appeared more focused on phones and side conversations than actively engaging with the children. The environment is more like passive babysitting than a structured educational setting focused on child development and attentive care. My daughter went from talking and being expressive to crying and whining all the time. When I asked to speak to the owner Erin continuously lied and made excuses. For $525 per week (approximately $2,100 per month), parents should be able to expect attentive supervision, professionalism, cleanliness, accountability, and equitable treatment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Also the front desk worker Suzie as well is extremely disrespectful. I just left the school so upset that this is the way they handle people who pay their hard earned money. Erin is a liar as well. She claimed I was rude and used profanity when my child was hit on by another child. Which is a lie! Watch the cameras for one full day while your child is there and I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT WANT YOUR CHILD ATTENDING THIS EXPENSIVE BABY SITTER! UPDATE: Notice every response is signed "Karim B. (Owner) mine is "Center Administration and Compliance Team". Erin is in fact a big part of the problem. Parents can draw their own conclusions regarding how concerns are handled when serious safety and supervision issues are raised.

Leaving Kiddie Academy of Alexandria is so bittersweet for our family. It's the kind of place where everyone knows your kids, greets them with a smile, and treats them like family. We are so sad to say goodbye. From the moment we started, Tracy and her staff have exceeded our expectations with what a babysitting service should be. After sending a short email to Tracy with our babysitting needs (date and time of coverage, # and ages of children, and our address) within moments we were matched with a sitter. Most importantly each sitter has been qualified (for our toddler and baby), friendly and loving to the children, and then all the things you wish you had when you weren't using the service - sitters that arrive early, sitters that provide updates while gone through texts if needed, and sitters that are adults with more education than both my husband and I. The Educated Babysitter is the only sitter I have used for years. Tracy is responsive and good at finding exactly the sitter we need even on short notice. All of the sitters are great and seem to genuinely enjoy children. Most recently Kendra Sampson was our sitter and we liked her so much we will ask for her every time. Not only did she get the seal of approval from parents and child but the dog gave her two thumbs up as well! We've been using the Educated Babysitter for several months now when our regular sitter takes a vacation or sick day, and for date nights, and couldn't be happier. They have organized a cool and great environment inside and outside for children to spend time learning something good. It has been only two weeks my child has been attending and he learned many more things and I see a positive change in his conduct and behavior. Their service has the highest quality in the area. I first brought my daughter to Sunshine Daycare/Ghazala when my baby was 3 months old, and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Ghazala is so loving and treats the children in her daycare as if they are her own. She also does daily activities and reads to them along with other brain stimulating tasks.
