It is a very safe and loving environment, where everyone knows the names of my children. The center's directors, Hina and Saafia, run a very tight ship. For context, we've got several center-based preschools to compare to as our other child attended a different school before we moved. CBA's communication is excellent. While most businesses and schools really struggled with keeping parents informed during COVID, CBA always contacted us quickly, and most importantly, with clear and CONSISTENT information. We always know what to expect and how things are being handled. Of course, the most important thing is the awesome care for our kiddo. He comes home laughing and sharing about his teachers and friends. He stops to say goodbye to teachers in other classrooms, and knows all of the administrative staff, who all know him, as well! A huge selling point is that they get tons of outdoor time. At other schools, this is not consistent even if the weather isn't a factor; at CBA they get to play outside at least 2x a day and the kids love it. They also have tons of stimulating and creative activities and celebrations that are shared through daily photos. We really appreciate the staff and feel grateful to have found a great place for our son to thrive.

When I first enrolled my daughter, she was in the three-year-old classroom. She was consistently having temper tantrum's at least once a day and she was always upset and sad. Although I tried to speak with my daughters three-year-old old teacher about my daughter's behavior, I was reciprocated with disrespect. This teacher approached me outside of school hours at a cell phone store and spoke about my daughter and her well-being in front of multiple people/employees while also speaking ill about the employees and director at the KinderCare. I try to sit down with her and the Director, Amanda Banks, To speak about the situation and to see how we can come to a resolution. Unfortunately, due to the three-year-old teachers behavior, The meeting was cut short. Miss Amanda knew and could see how upset I was with my daughters teacher. Being a single mom, working and in school, the last thing I should be doing as a parent is worrying about my daughter while she's not in my presence. And I can say that I was TERRIFIED when dropping her off to the Three-year-old teacher and was about to unenroll my daughter. However I didn't want to do this because I really like the Director, Amanda. Amanda Banks made sure that my daughter and I no longer felt like that. After consoling me and assuring me that everything would be OK, the next time I dropped off my daughter at school, Amanda Banks changed my daughter to Ryan Harrison's class (4 year old class). Immediately!!!! My daughters behavior was a complete turnaround. In less than a week, I could see that she was more involved in school. She no longer has had any temper tantrum's. My daughter has learned how to use her words, play nice with friends at school and much more! The change of Teachers was the best thing for my daughter and myself. I no longer worry about my daughter once I drop her off to care because I know in my heart she's in great hands. Jasmine Logan is an exceptional woman. From showing how much she loves and cares about the children to also giving 110% everyday no matter if it rains or shines. My daughter loves Jasmine Logan and Ryan Harrison and it makes me feel great to know that she's comfortable with her teachers she has now. I recommend this place because of the loving and genuine people here. Although the 3-year-old teacher is the COMPLETE opposite, All of the other staff are extraordinary!! The staff is very polite and have been working with children for years. The facility is located in a very safe neighborhood and recently installed security cameras on the premises. It's a good place and I don't really have many complaints about HH other than a couple small things. Minus one star because of two things. 1)School closings. I'm totally fine with them being closed holidays, but what irks me is if the school has a two hour delay...they'll open two hours late. If FCPS is on winter/spring break or even during the Summer they charge extra cause the kids are there longer....not cool! Some of us working parents don't have that luxury of showing up to work two hours late assuming you depend on HH for child care. 2)I've heard of the owners' children getting away with actions other kids would be punished for.

The teachers are wonderful, experienced professionals who foster a warm and caring classroom environment. One of the best things about TCCC is that many of the staff have been there for years, so the kids have consistent teachers and familiar faces. The preschool program is excellent and the curriculum is thoughtfully structured. I'm confident my children will be ready for Kindergarten. The food is also great. The menu is healthy and we love that we don't have to pack anything besides a water bottle. For babies, they serve baby food and even provide premium formula included as part of tuition. The TCCC community is amazing. Parents are friendly and engaged. We love that it's a non-profit, so the focus is truly on the kids and families. When we found LaPetite Academy of Alexandria, we found peace of mind. My daughter's teachers are, without question, two of the best pre-K educators I have encountered in two decades in this field. That is not a compliment I give lightly. The quality of their practice, relationships with children, and the intentionality behind every interaction is the kind of thing you cannot fake and cannot train quickly. What sealed it for me is the staff longevity. In this industry, turnover tells you everything. For my daughter, I was looking for the quality of education and the richness of the environment. For my two-year-old son, my priority shifted to something more fundamental: Would he feel safe? Would his basic needs be met with consistency and warmth by people he could learn to trust? Staff longevity answers both questions. Children that age need familiar faces, and the stability of this team gave me confidence. The fact that this team has stayed, and clearly chosen to stay, speaks to leadership, culture, and a genuine commitment to the children in their care. That stability matters for young children, and it matters even more when you have two kids building trust with the same people over time. If you're looking to prepare your kids for school, you can't do better than Ms. Nikki and Mr. Brandon in the Pre-K room. Ms. Dee and Ms. Jackie, the school directors, are easy to work with. By the end of his last year he was doing math worksheets and writing short sentences, and that was all due to TCCC.
