I had a great experience with ASAP. Response time and follow up was good and much better than the counterparts who didn't even show up! Pricing was reasonable and the wait for parts wasn't too long. My 2 year old washer broke. I called ASAP on July 5 and got an appointment for July 8. I was told I needed a new belt and it would be a couple of weeks. To my surprise the part arrived early and I made an appointment to have it installed on Thursday, July 15. It was the wrong part but I was told I would get a call from the office with an estimate on another part. I didn't get a call on the Friday so I called in and I was told that the parts department was closed but they send their estimates out on Monday. I waited. I called Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday, no estimate. Finally the estimate arrived on Thursday, one week after the service tech had told me what he thought was wrong, again. I gave up on repairing. By that time I had already bought another washer and dryer set from Westcoast Appliance and it was installed on July 23. Westcoast Appliance, you're amazing! As others have mentioned, thay take your cc before they arrive and charge you a flat rate of around $150. Technician came to our house to look at the washing machine. He spent maximum of 5 minutes. The infuriating part is that he didn't even LOOK at the issue in which we told the receptionist over the phone about. He looked at something else (that worked fine), told our tenant that the manufacturer doesn't make parts for it anymore, and left. Why should we pay $150 for a diagnosis of something that was never an issue!? We called to say we would not be paying for that. Owner called and reduced it to $85 and told us not to call back. Extremely poor business practice, if not theft. BIG lessons learned for us. Results: went to the appliance part shop, bought the $30 part and installed it ourselves in five minutes. The repair guy came to our house and diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher. When the part came in he installed it 300.00 dollars and the dishwasher still did not work. He said he would order another part; we decided not to be a guinea pig for his incompetence and we would just buy another dishwasher. He did say he would install the new dishwasher for no charge when it came in. A phone call to this asap company when we bought the new dishwasher, we were told there would be a charge of 130.00 to install. This is not a reputable company, stay clear of this dishonest and unqualified business. read more

I have mixed feelings about this company. First they responded quickly and did fixed the dishwasher during Covid, we knew the service call was going to be expensive and expected that. We were told the part ("the" part) would be approx $30.00. Ok so that's ball park. So it could be a bit more. We had to give our credit card and had leave it for them to bill us, before they would even come to our house. It took over a month for the charge to come through, imagine my shock when the charge came through at $157.93. And the service call was $194.25. For about 15 min work. Yes he was pleasant, yes he fixed the dishwasher. He didn't sanitize what he touched, like he said he would. I called and was told no, he actually replaced 2 pieces, we are now talking over a month later. We had no proof, no recourse. Because of Covid no paper work exchanged hands. I feel like because of business suffering we where charged these costs. Looking at the website you can't post reviews directly there. Also between 2018-2020, the BBB has had 6 complaints in the last 3 years. ASAP appliance is not accredited by the BBB. This company is the only one who services Bosch, I would rather buy a new, different brand, dishwasher than ever use them again. I would in my opinion say they seem shady. read more

I am giving this company one star only because there is no option for negative 1000! The company is awful! They were assigned to do the job in the unit we are renting by the third party (we would never pick them up by themselves taking into consideration all negative reviews that have been already made by their other customers). These guys really have the princess attitude - they do not schedule their appointments, they just call you the day they want to come and you apparently are supposed to sit and wait them all day long. Excellent! But it is not all - their technician Mike after causing damage on our kitchen one day refused to complete the job on next day and clearly stated that he is not trained and capable to do his job. Well, we have already noticed that, but thank you for confirming! At any rate, the funniest guy in the company is owner - Trevor. When their technician Mike has left our apartment wounded in his deepest affections after my husband suggested that Mike if he is not capable and trained for the job should look for a different job, I have got a phone call from magnificent Trevor! The first thing I heard was hysterical yelling and threatenings! After I managed to pass him to my husband - he eventually had to breath in so I managed to pass the phone to my husband - their conversation was short as Trevor had hung up! Apparently he is very brave when yelling at women, but very shy to talk to a men. Anyway, I would definitely do not recommend these people and wish them best luck as with their attitude they will be out of the business very soon)) Please support only honest and diligent businesses! read more

I had arranged for a technician to look at our dishwasher. They were busy so it was a few weeks way. They advised their practice is to immediately charge my credit card for $185.00 for the tech's services and the only additional charges would be for any parts required. I agreed to the cancellation policy, which says they charge you $75 if you cancel the day of the service. The night before the service call, the technician called to confirm the time. I said the dishwasher was working fine so it didn't seem necessary for him to come all the way from Parksville the next day. He agreed. I did not arbitrarily cancel the appointment on short notice, as they are alleging. Why would I waste the technician's tithought I was doing them as a favour. Nevertheless, they considered it a cancellation even though not one person was inconvenienced and they are keeping half our money. They did absolutely nothing to earn even a penny. I strongly advise against using this company. Updated: they have done the right thing and decided to refund all our money. Not without a fight, but appreciated nonetheless. read more

My first experience with ASAP went fairly well but it sure cost me. They came and repaired by fridge and the service charge was through the fridge. To make matters worse, the repair didn't last and my fridge failed working again 5 days later. They were not helpful at this point and made no effort to help me out with a complete non-working fridge. They kept repeating that the part would not be in for 3 weeks - it took about 4 weeks, the receptionist was very rude and even hung up on on me when I asked her if there was any other repair that could be made to help in the interim. She wouldn't let me speak to her manager, the repairman and ask for his advice. In the end, I got another company to do a totally different repair for far less of a service cost and he claimed that I didn't even need the part ASAP ordered! DO NOT GO WITH THIS VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND INDIFFERENT GROUP OF PEOPLE! read more

I had a washing machine that wasn't working. The receptionist staff Rita was extremely pleasant and polite on my interactions with her. Curtis came out to my house, initially machine appeared to be working prior to him leaving. It then stopped working. Called the technician who arranged to come back that same night and repaired it. The owner asked that I call the office in the morning to ensure all was working. The above negative reviews were not at all an indication of the service I received from asap. This company is the worst. The owner is a useful piece of nothing. All he cares about is money, has no people skills. The office staff changes so much, they seem to have no clue, I called several times and kept getting the same answer when I asked where my part was, let me speak to the owner and confirm it has been ordered, weeks later still no call. This company changes staff so often its impossible to figure out time lines on parts or even when or if they are willing to help you. Owner sincerely doesnt seem to care about his customers at all. The reception never has any answers for any questions just the same line over and over "dont call us we'll call you."
