Utterly horrible I was having hardware issues I traced to my SSD. I even brought the problem SSD in myself so they could test it If your website says diagnostics are free, then customers shouldn't be charged just to confirm what they already told you. And if the motherboard really is the issue, Ascend should foot the bill for a replacement, not push the cost onto the customer after failing to handle the initial diagnosis properly. I came in expecting honesty and fair service, not upsells and surprise charges. Customers deserve transparency -- not to be told "free" diagnostics, then handed a bill and blamed hardware. read more

A couple of times I've had them clean up my computer by remote "long distance" from their store--it's not even necessary to disconnect it and bring it in for this service.
