But the quote came quickly and was quite detailed. It included a good brand of the white EPDM I wanted. It was just as good or better than the quotes from some other bigger players. The price was much better too. So I hoped the no frills meant less overhead. I did check for reviews and they were good. So I decided to go with JM even though it was very hard to find much company presence on the internet. Communicating with Juan via text messages worked very well. I asked to add a plywood cover board and to help me locate the rafters and he was very accommodating. The team came out and Robin was in charge. He spoke English well enough to give me assurances they were going to do what I wanted. The biggest reason for replacing the membrane roof on my flat roof was to ready it for a solar panel installation, which I planned to do myself, if only I could get the 8 panels up on the roof. I'd asked Juan if the team could put the panels on the roof after the job was done. He was agreeable. Robin had the boys do it and did a good job of ensuring no damage to the new membrane by having them put an insulation board under them. Since then I've been up on that roof installing my panels and admiring JM Exteriors Roofing and Siding's work. Thank you so much.

From the moment Paul came to our home to inspect our old, leaking skylight, we knew we were dealing with a company that values professionalism and integrity. Paul didn't just go up on the roof and look at the skylight--he inspected our entire roof. He found a section with missing shingles and included that repair at no additional charge. The crew replaced our skylight along with the extensive rotted roof sheathing around it. While they were on the roof, they sealed a vent pipe and a second skylight--all at no additional charge because, as they told us, they just wanted to make sure our roof was protected. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. They provided photos and videos before, during, and after the work, so we could see every step of the project. Mike, the outstanding on-site supervisor, checked in with us repeatedly, answered every question, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. He was so professional. Mike and his crew also left everything absolutely spotless--the roof, deck, driveway, yard, and even the bedroom beneath the skylight looked as though they had never been there, except for our beautiful new Velux skylight. We've hired many contractors over the years, and this was genuinely one of the best experiences we've ever had. By chance, the electric company stopped by the next day to check my meter, and started banging on my door to ask what in the world was up with my electric meter/box. They said the metal was so bent that even if I had the cover, it wouldn't fit back on. It turns out that anyone walking by who touched it could've gotten an electric shock! The electric company wanted to shut off the power to my entire house immediately - it was that serious - but since it was in the winter they didn't. The electric company was kind enough to wrap a tarp around the box, since any rain or snow getting in could cause extensive damage, including frying my whole electrical panel. It turned out that MightyDog had done extensive electrical work without an electrical permit, and by people who were not licensed to do that work. They had to pay thousands of dollars to an emergency Electrician; I appreciate that they paid it, but that's how bad it was. They also did extensive damage to my mini splits, which they refuse to take responsibility for. I think they did a good job on my roof, but I can't in good conscience recommend this business.

I got three quotes and Manny's was about where I expected it to be. One was more and one was similar. I decided on Manny's because he seemed sincere and, surprisingly, he lived about 1/2 a mile from me. We had one day with sunshine recently and had a snow storm coming the next day so when he called and said he could do it that day I was thrilled. At 800am (as advised) two trucks showed up and I had 8 people on my roof scraping away the old. In at 800am, out by 500pm. They scraped, replaced the skylights, and re-roofed, then cleaned up. Outstanding work. All of the workers were great. I had questions during the work and someone was always available to answer them. None of them seemed to rush, it was get it done, and get it done right. We've had two snowstorms and a lot of rain and not one drop in the house. I can finally start sleeping better! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING MANNY'S ROOFING.

We had several other contractors who told us wehad to replace the entire side of the house, even though it appeared the damagewas in one specific area. Rorrie said they could fix it without having to rip everythingout. We had a few calls before the work was done where he explained everything in greatdetail (and with great patience). The work itself is complete, and the siding looks great. Theypulled back the areas that needed work, replaced the plywood that was rotted,and even helped buttress some of the framing. They then covered everything backup and repainted.
