The main reason we hired movers was to avoid damaging our nice furniture.I explained what we needed moved over the phone. On the day of the move they showed up over an hour late. What we needed moved was not explained at all to the guys that showed up. Therefore, they started moving items that we didn't need moved, and when everything was eventually straightened out they were pressed for time and did not take proper precautions to protect our furniture. As a result, our nice/expensive furniture was damaged. I called them after we noticed the damage. They asked me to text them photos and said they'd take care of it and "put a smile on my face." Very friendly and reassuring. After that, I heard nothing. I called several times, and it went straight to voicemail. After a couple months I suspected they blocked my phone and sure enough, when I called from another phone it went through. I left a message and never heard back. Shady, shady business. Never have I worked with a company that so clearly lacked integrity.

They were honest and fair with the amount of hours they billed me too. I was all alone getting this move done, and let's just say this whole moving stuff really isn't any kind of fun when you're doing this by yourself as a woman. I couldn't even leave the house to go grab food, and the two brothers that came out were so kind as to bring me a hamburger. It was a small gesture, but it was very much appreciated since I hadn't eaten all day. They also had one of their wives run to Home Depot to get some rope for me, and they only charged me the exact amount for the rope. I'm sure other folks would've charged me for the price of sending her on her errands. They even showed up a few times to help wrap a couple of fragile items, and they didn't charge me for that. They were careful and cautious in getting our stuff moved. We didn't have one thing that was damaged. The guy who was packing up our box truck had some seriously *mad* Tetris skills. I don't know how they did it, but they managed to get everything we needed to into that truck. I stressed that it was really important to me to fit everything in there since I was just renting the truck for the one trip, and I couldn't afford a second trip. They were there for probably 8 hours or so, and they really worked it. I highly recommend them!

I got her telephone number from my podiatrist. Apparently, there are working with her on a trial basis. I had bought insoles from my doctor cash. I had to return them and had an okay to do so as well at time of purchase. When I came into the office to return them, I was told that their new payroll department had to pay me back with a check. It would take two weeks. I don't want to be a whiner, but that seemed excessive after I had paid in cash. Anyway, I agreed. Two weeks came and no check. I waited longer, still no check. I got Krista's number from my doctor's office and called her. She said she mailed out the check. I told her that. I had actually gone to my doctors office and they paid me out the cash already, but my problem now was that I had such low funds in my bank that I got an overdraft, because I had counted on getting that check. We are a family living on extremely low income. When Cancer is involved in the family, it makes it all the more difficult. Krista at one point suggested I keep the check to pay the overdraft, then in the same sentence she said it would be a blessing in disguise, but I probably would need to pay it back. Then she went on to lecture me about how I should manage my money and not have overdrafts! Wow! And here is the best part...... The check never came. So sad. So my advice is please don't lecture people especially when you can't do your job.
