Check in and out is always smooth and efficient. We typically go to the Aiea office; they're in that office M, W, and F, but I believe Dr. Tada is only there on Fridays. Perfect for our schedule. I first heard of Dr Tada from my CRPS support group. They all raved about his knowledge of CRPS, which is a feat in itself as a rare and poorly understood condition with the worse pain known to man. Most of the doctors I had encountered had never even heard of it, much less able to treat it. The only other doctors I found to have significant knowledge on the condition were the doctors at the pain management center at UCSF. Unfortunately, my insurance changed to a company that didn't have UCSF in network. I tried a few doctors on Oahu, but even those who had knowledge of CRPS proposed solutions that were either debunked or had never been widely used in the case of CRPS. And sadly with CRPS, incorrect treatment often leads to spread or worsening of the condition. Hence the dire need for knowledgeable doctors. Not only is Dr. Tada knowledgeable about CRPS but he has had several years and several patients experience. I have since received more helpful solutions than I ever thought possible. Treatment of CRPS is extremely dependent on a case by case basis. Medications that work for one patient they have an opposite effect in another patient. Some patients can tolerate touch while others can barely tolerate a breeze. In some patients it can go into remission while another patients it can cause lifelong debilitating issues. Unfortunately, I fall into the latter category, but with a Dr. Tada, I am able to have an unbelievable quality of life despite the pain. He doesn't just treat a small part of the condition as most doctors do. He treats the patient as a whole.

We knew from the very beginning that this was going to be a long road to recovery, but he was finally able to "graduate" from PT in October 2025, a whole 11 months after his surgery. We are so thankful to Kyle and all the staff at SportsMedicine Aiea for everything they did for my son to help him gain his strength back in his knee. For a whole 11 months, we spent afternoons there 3 days a week, so it really did feel like family there. The front desk staff was always so friendly and helpful and my son had nothing but nice and positive things to say about the therapists there. It was a bittersweet moment when Dr. Oishi told us he didn't have to go to PT anymore. It was great news to hear, but sad at the same time that we never got to say a proper goodbye to the staff at SportsMedicine. I went there for 3 months and was stuck at 80 degrees. The Doctor then recommended a manipulation under anesthesia and said I needed to go somewhere else for my therapy. I gave in and went to SportsMedicine where I should have gone in the beginning. I was assigned to Steven Tom a professional, knowledgeable, patient and very understanding physical therapist who treats everyone with respect. He had a genuine concern about my other health issues and always inquired on the status. At first I was slow and I resisted taking the initiative to become independent in my routines. Steven and the other therapist steered me towards independent exercises and take ownership for my recover. They all provided me with excellent support and encouragement to move forward. It is a busy place and you might think that you are entirely on you own in your task however, if you are not doing your routines correctly or are hesitant one of the therapist will come over to assist and help with necessary corrective action. They may be busy but they all are aware of what is going on with everyone. The front office have been very accommodating, professional and friendly. I do not want to have this kind of surgery again but if needed I would not hesitate to come here again. Thank Steven and staff.

I was looking for a bone doctor closer to home vs driving to town. After meeting Dr.Mariya O. I plan to switch to her. She is young, pretty and so thorough. Besides an X-ray of my knee, she also approved a wrist and hip X-ray while I was down on the 2 nd floor's Imaging Department. She hails from Bulgaria and England. She is great! She answered all my questions, went over every X-ray with easy explanations. She pinpointed where the aging of arthritis has set in and what treatments I can seek at home and medically. She administered a shot to my right knee( which made the hardest contact when my left foot Went like the White Rabbit down a hole in the ground) The soft tissue is still puffy like a marshmallow. She referred me to a hand specialist which made 2 nd point of contact to break the forward, downward almost belly flop propulsion to the ground. It's a wonder the Palisades neighborhood didn't feel tremors. As for my hip X-rays I asked her what's that black section that looked like bubbles at the top left corner. She said, that's gas in your bowel. Oh my- good one. Then she asked do you have pain in your groin? No I replied then thought... that's another story. I am very happy that Dr. Michael Chun(podiatrist) referred me to that office two days after the mishap and I fortunately have met Dr. Mariya O.to take care of me. She informed me that a new office will be coming to Mililani. Keep safe, take care and stay on sidewalks. watch out for holes in uneven yards camouflaged by a grass.

Dr. Inouye informed us that patient had 3+ fractures showing us on the X-ray taken prior. No surgery needed per her consult with surgeon, no pain meds prescribed. Icing for 20 minutes and OTC Tylenol advised as prescribed pain killers might delay healing. Dr. Inouye is very personable, easy to talk to, she said she doesn't do surgeries and goes every Tuesday to Straub Kapolei. We will continue to come to Pali Momi, Aiea. Return visit in two weeks with more xrays. First time that I can recall hubs will be off work for all 3 holidays this year. He is always working on holidays. He can barely walk nor move his fractured side without severe pain. Just call me, Florence Nightin' Gail- chief chauffeur, cook and body washer. Enjoy your holidays and keep safe. This whole person type of care is just an example of his compassion as a doctor and this is also reflected by everyone who works in the office as well. This office truly takes you in as family and not just another patient in their files. Parking is easy as the office is served by a very large parking structure that is connected to the building. Paying for parking is also very easy as there are payment kiosks on every floor that take both physical and touches payment options. Appointments are fairly easy to get if you are in immediate need as they allow for same day or next day appointments if you call when they open. Not sure if there's one on the 2nd floor since I never go to that floor anyways! Waiting room is small and cozy so don't bring your whole family with you cause theres like 5-6 chairs. On each floor tho, there's a waiting area next to the elevators. Anyways, here's to a 5 star update to this Yelp page!
