Today was my 4th session with Safire and I would book weekly if I could! The very first time I went to her was because I woke up unable to move my neck, I looked up deep tissue massage because I like to be worked hard when I get a massage, and found her near me in Wahiawa(she's moved/expanded since), and she was able to squeeze me in for a 30 minute session. I left with FULL range of motion and no headache! I have a desk job with a lot of mousing and with that comes shoulder pain, neck pain and wrist tension. She has helped relieved all of it! She knows where the knots are, what's causing it and literally scrapes the sh*t out of it till it's better, as well as massage, stretches, fire cupping and manipulates. A couple of hours later and the magic is still working. Sa-fire is amazing and very skilled. My first time doing scraping and a sports muscle therapy. I have a high pain tolerance and yet she got me taking deep breath's as she hit the right triggers in my left hamstring and IT band. It is amazing how our bodies work. I left feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. My neck and back felt better. I could turn my head and bend with ease. To give you some semblance of how bad my body is, I am in constant pain on a daily basis. I haven't had a massage in a few months due to my busy schedule. I decided to give this a try because massages are great but it is like just taking ibuprofen instead of curing the issues. I am not saying I am cured. I am saying this really made a difference in comparison to a full body deep tissue. The day after I am feeling relaxed and comfy still. There is some itching on my back, which was to be expected with the scraping and cupping. When the itching started, I just rubbed the area for a bit and the itch subsided. It is funny how I don't feel as bruised our busted up as usually I do when I have a deep tissue massage done. Yet my back has deep dark cupping circles so you'd think I was in pain. I've not felt this good in a while. I booked online. I secured my appointment and entered my credit card details. I received a text message with a link to fill out a questionnaire (history, pain, issues, etc). I booked for 50 min at $130.00. Such bs. Booked sports massage for son who plays football. Jack is great. My son loved it! Booked following sunday for me and my son. Show up the following sunday. Well they canceled my one appt because i didnt know how to book appts in different name. No call no nothing. left work early to come but hey got canceled. Scheduled one today. Get a text asking if i can come at 4. I said cannot. But gets another text telling me feel free to come 4/430 if can. I end up being able to leave work early. So i show up 345. Say hi to the receptionist who knows me because shes the one that canceled my other appt last week. Sit and wait 20 min. Guess what they booked someone at 4. But they had no decencies to let me know 4/430 is no longer available. This place has horrible receptionists. They have no people skills. No hi bye nothing just stares at u and collects ur money. As a business woman i would never allow this type of mistakes to be made. They collect ur card info just in case u dont show up but dont give a damn about people showing up even though they cancel ur appt. This place needs new receptionists. In short- WOW. Over the last year I lost motivation in the gym due to an nonstop pain in my lower back that prevented me from lifting amounts I used to lift with ease. After several of my friends suggested I try cupping/scrapping to ease the tension and get rid of the pain I finally listened and I'm so glad I did! I was scared of the process because I had previously heard mixed reviews about the pain of cupping in general- I didn't experience any pain with Safire (except of course massaging out the knots but that's a given). Hands down one of the best massage/cupping sessions that I've had. My shoulders and back were bugging me all morning and I knew that I needed to see a therapist asap.
