So... I have experienced similar issues to the other people on here who have written reviews. First off let me say my Doctor, Kelvin walls, is not bad at all; I do like his service. With that being said ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City needs to get their stuff together. They are very UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED, AND HAVE THE TIMING OF A HIGH SCHOOL STONER. I KID YOU NOT. I am not a happy camper with this organization. Here's my story... I was going to be late by about 10-15 minutes for my original appointment due to issues leaving work. When I called and spoke with them to try and push back my appointment by 15 minutes (or really any available time) they told me they could not do that because it would hold up the rest of the appointments and I would have to reschedule for the next available appointment which was a WEEK LATER. Fine, I understand timeliness is important and I was glad AT THAT TIME that they actually cared about that. So, I come in for my next appointment and guess what? About 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment; I'm finally called back to the room to see the doctor. DURING THIS TIME THAT I'M WAITING TO BE SEEN, WELL AFTER MY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT, PEOPLE ARE COMING IN AFTER ME AND BEING CALLED BACK BEFORE ME. Hmmm, so if I'm going to be 10-15 minutes late I have to be rescheduled for a week later but when I'm here on time for my appointment I have to sit there for 45 minutes before I'm even seen, while other people show up late and then are still seen. Very nice work ENT associates of greater KC! Very classy and professional! What a joke... Then during my appointment we discuss the surgery that I have to have done and FMLA paperwork that needs to be filled out for my job due to the fact that I will be missing work to recover from the surgery. AT NO TIME DURING THIS CONVERSATION DID THEY SAY THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME $20 TO FILL OUT FMLA PAPER WORK (which takes them all of 5 minutes to complete). CONVENIENTLY FOR THEM THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THIS UNTIL AFTER MY SURGERY WHEN I CALLED THEM TO GET IT FILLED OUT. I had nowhere else to turn to, so I had no choice but to pay it! I had figured the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS they were receiving for my surgery between my co-pay and the insurance company would be more than enough money for them to take 5 minutes of their time to fill in the blanks on a couple pages of FMLA paperwork. After all they wasted over 45 minutes of my time by not being on time with their own scheduled appointments. I guess that doesn't matter to them though. My surgery that I was scheduled for didn't take place until about 5 HOURS after my scheduled time. I LITERALLY LAID IN A BED WITH AN IV STUCK IN MY ARM FOR SO LONG THAT THEY HAD TO SWITCH IT OUT FOR A NEW ONE BEFORE ROLLING ME BACK TO SURGERY. Now from what they told me, there were complications with the first surgery which is why mine was pushed back for hours upon hours. Fine, I understand things happen and my heart goes out to that person with the complications. I hope they are doing well. With all that being said though I really find it hard to believe after both of these experiences of my own personal time being wasted; they can't waive a $20 paperwork fee that they never even told me about to begin with! On top of all this stuff, even after paying $20 that I was never even told about, my paper work hasn't even been received by my work yet. Even though it is 2014 and email has been around longer than I have been alive, the only way to get it to them is for me to take more of my time and drive back to their office and drop it off or fax it to them. What a joke. I faxed the document to them, waited days, no response. Finally I drive back to their office and drop it off in person. They say they never received the fax (again what a joke). When I hand them the paper work I said twice, "This has to be sent in by 7/17/14." They said no problem we'll move you to the top of the priority list. A couple days goes by, my work hasn't received the paper work so I call them YET AGAIN to find out what in the world is going on. They say, "Oh, we didn't know what days you needed marked on the paperwork. We called you and left a voice mail. (Complete BS) I checked both my work and personal phone. No missed call from them on either one, let alone a voice mail. So, I give them the dates and they say, "The lady that does the paperwork is gone for the night." This was on the 16th. I talked to the manager up there named GABE (Gabriel) and reminded him that it HAS TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE 17th and TODAY IS THE 16th!!! He again said no problem we'll move you to the top of our priority list and make sure it's sent in tomorrow for you. GREAT.... Thanks buddy. Today is now the 19th and MY WORK STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED MY PAPER WORK!!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST JOKE OF A COMPANY EVER. AFTER WASTING ALL OF MY TIME, LITERALLY HOURS THEY STILL WON'T BUDGE ON $20 PAPERWORK FEE THAT THEY NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT TO BEGIN WITH! read more
