He came highly recommended from friends, patients, and medical professionals as one of theist new ENTs in Kansas City. I can be a hard critic of medical care and their surrounding staff. As a physician and practice owner myself, I know full well the level of energy, dedication, and effort it takes to deliver great patient care. Dr. Stanley McClurg is one of the best ENT surgeons in Kansas City. His experience and extensive training as one of the few Rhinologists in Kansas City made him a perfect experienced choice for my surgeon. My quality of life is improved now that I can breathe well, sleep well, and I am thrilled with the outcome of my surgery. It has even stopped my snoring! The experience at the surgical center, with their staff, and anesthesiologists were equally fantastic. The surgical team were on-time, not rushed, and overall, the experience was a good as it gets in the business. I had earlier concerns regarding post-op discomfort, complications, and other issues associated with sinus reconstruction surgery. Dr. McClurg answered all of my questions and I was very confident and assured in his ability to deliver excellent care. I had very little discomfort and now feel amazing. After a couple of days of recovery I had the intranasal splints removed at my first post op exam at 5 days. The recovery was quick and comfortable. I missed a few days of work but could have easily returned the day the splints were removed. Dr. Stanley McClurg is a gifted physician with experience, talent, and good old fashioned caring that is making him a rising star in the KC medical community. My only regret from the experience is that I never got hooked up with Dr. McClurg earlier in my life. We are fortunate to have him in our city and I for one, and beyond grateful for his care. If you are considering seeing an ENT for yourself or family, I would recommend him highly.

Their ENT, "Dr." Daniel Sleve botched a simple surgery on my nasal inferior turbinates by taking so much tissue he ruined their function permanently. I now have been diagnosed with the 100% surgically created condition called Empty Nose Syndrome. As a company, they have decided to throw me to the curb instead of doing the right thing and hold their doctor accountable. They know the increased malpractice insurance rates and damaged community image would be a consequence so they have instead chosen to keep my money and leave me to cope with what they've done to me by myself. If you value your quality of life with breathing through your nose then DO NOT USE ASCENTIST "HEALTHCARE" (laughable) for any procedure!!!

I am now a patient of Dr. Stacy Shutz in dermatology and this review reflects how I feel about her and about the office visits to this location. I have been treated with utmost respect on both occasions. The first time it did seem like I spent a great deal of time filling out paper work - though everything is actually done on an ipad. This time, I was able to do all the sign in work online before arriving at the office and that seemed to speed things up to a remarkable degree. I no sooner sat down after announcing my presence than there I was being called back to the exam room. Impressive in a room filled with folks waiting to be seen. The office site is large and very clean. There are tons of advertising materials everywhere but no one tried to sell me anything. This is my first go around with pre-cancerous spots and with all things dermatology. Dr. Shutz took time to explain what the different terminologies meant and what treatment would be best. When I expressed a concern about disfigurement that might result from treatment of the place on my face, she took me through exactly what would happen and what my face would look like during the healing process. I really appreciated her taking time to be thorough in this and not making me feel like an dummy or an annoyance. I had my wisdom teeth removed on Friday and could not have asked for a better experience. I was…read morevery anxious going in because I have sleep apnea and was worried about being put under anesthesia. During my consultation, I shared my concerns with Dr. P about my apnea. He took the time to talk through everything with me and even had a specialist come in to discuss how they safely manage patients with sleep apnea during sedation. That bedside discussion really helped put me at ease and made me feel confident moving forward. On the day of surgery, the entire team was incredibly professional and reassuring. I remember getting the IV and oxygen, and then the next thing I knew the procedure was finished. I vaguely remember hearing voices toward the end, but I don't even recall waking up--it just felt like I was suddenly there again. The surgeon and staff were outstanding and made what I expected to be a stressful experience extremely smooth and comfortable. If you're nervous about oral surgery or anesthesia, especially with sleep apnea concerns, I highly recommend them
