My family begged not to go back to her and would work on their problems without her help. She doesn't remember what the last session was about and will bring up the same story repeatedly from another couple that she councils. That bothered me because I wondered if she was sharing my information with others. Also, I thought it was bizarre that she locked my kids out of the room and put them in a separate room when they were a young age. She gave them pens and paper and said they would be fine while we worked in the other room. I was not comfortable with that and even when they begged to come in, she said they're fine. You're just enabling them and this is your problem. I have done counseling before I believe that it is powerful. I feel like the only thing we got from her was trauma and lack of trust.
