I had scheduled my appointment online using the Asgard website. It was actually very easy. You create an account and can schedule based on therapist or times they are available. If you are not comfortable with the online booking, you can call to book an appointment as well. For me the web service works great as it allows me to select the time that works best for me on my schedule. (Like at 11 pm at night). I arrived early for my appointment at the new location for Asgard massage and immediately felt less stress. The atmosphere is very tranquil with a light blue tone on the walls along with stylish, comfortable seating area in case you are waiting for your appointment. Steffen, the massage therapist, was waiting for me to arrive and greeted me with a smile and a handshake, asking how I had been. We made some minor small talk before he asked if I was ready to begin. Leading me back to one of the rooms it was impressive how quiet it was. The location is in a fairly busy shopping mall, however once you stepped behind the privacy door you felt a little more detached from the world. After showing me to the room, Steffen asked me about how I was feeling and if there were any specific needs I had for that session. I.e. arms, calves etc that needed extra attention. After explaining what I was hoping to achieve with the massage I was left alone for a few moments to change and get comfortable on the table. Steffen was amicable and has a good bedside manner as he works the kinks or knots out of your muscle groups. His mannerisms and tone are very professional and he is careful to cover the list of requests made prior to the session start. If you wish to chat while he is working, he will keep a conversation, or if you wish quiet he will oblige or if you are like me and have a little of both. The atmosphere of the massage room is good for relaxation. In fact I joked that they should simply sell time for a nap in the quiet. Calming musical tones sound during the massage, letting one's mind drift if you so desire. After the massage I was given as much time as I needed to want to move again before changing once more and meeting Steffen in the lobby area. Steffen greeted me with a glass of water and asked how I felt after the service. He then offered to schedule my next appointment and gave me options based on the availability of himself or one of the other therapists. (Right now there are 3) I will admit I felt really good. After spending a great deal of time in airports and on airplanes, muscles tend to stiffen no matter how often you stretch. There were some kinks that didn't seem to want to release and Steffen was able to get them loose. Asgard Massage does have a membership program and if you are not a member, you will be given the sell for it. If you are not interested, a polite no settles the matter. There were other services like aromatherapy offered, however I did not partake of them. I scheduled a follow up appointment that day and will most likely be returning regularly to Asgard massage. read more

The massage therapists I have used are wonderful!! However, I am going to have to cancel my monthly membership because their phone # 360-653-6900 does not work. No one picks up and you can't leave a message. I have been calling for an appointment for 5 days now. How do you call to cancel if you need to change an appointment. What if you are checking to see if you can get in that day or the next? My schedule changes almost daily. I need the flexibility. I'm bummed. I have to drive in to talk with them. I have been getting massages for the past 15 years and I have a lot of experience with different massage therapists. Asgard is different, the facility is clean, everyone is very friendly. I had massage with Ryan and it was awesome! He is an expert at his craft and I always learn so much about massage every time I see him. I can not wait to get in to see him in 2 weeks. The therapists were both very attentive to my specific needs, and I walked out of there with the pain gone, and feeling refreshed. ryan was a terrible time. he pushed way to hard even though i asked him to be light multiple times. i am a very fragyle man and did not appreciate his technigues!!! he should be repremanded for his horrible action. i am shocked and appalled by this and will never be returning again. read more
