This was one of the worst massage experiences I've had in Lake Stevens. I made a last-minute appointment and chose the service that seemed to best fit my needs, since the website had limited options. I was hoping to get cupping done, but there wasn't much clarity on what was actually included. Right from the start, the experience felt off. The front desk lacked basic hospitality, and the overall vibe of the building was unwelcoming. I arrived early, yet still had to wait past my scheduled appointment time. I was also required to pay and tip before even receiving the massage, which felt unusual and set the tone for the rest of the experience. When the session began, I was questioned about why I selected my service, which was confusing since it was listed as an option on their own website. As someone who hasn't had many massages before, I expected at least a basic explanation of the process, but that never happened. I've had cupping done at other places, so I'm familiar with the general method--cups are typically placed and left in certain areas. Here, however, the approach was completely different. The cups were not only left on, but also dragged across my back while still suctioned. It was extremely painful--honestly felt like my skin was being torn. There was no warning or check-in about comfort level during the process. To make things worse, the massage didn't even last the full hour I paid for. When it ended, the therapist simply left the room without saying anything beyond that she was finished. Afterward, I could hear laughing and gossiping from the front area, which felt unprofessional and off-putting. I came in stressed and hoping to relax, but left in significant pain--so much that it interfered with my ability to go about my day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This review is for my husband who saw Laurel McCaslin for lower back pain he had due to a recent car accident. He had never enjoyed a massage before but is now completely sold on the idea and said she was fantastic and helped him tremendously. Since we're billing our auto insurance for these visits, you might think she would be eager to sign him up for tons of "follow up" visits but that wasn't the case here. She said if he felt an additional visit was necessary, she'd be happy to schedule that for him. She was very professional and the salon is clean. You will enjoy a cozy fireplace and comfortable waiting area should you visit. read more

Went here today for an appointment I made back in May for a massage with their only masseuse who accepts my insurance. When I got there I was told they didn't have me in their system and there was no appointment under my name. Front desk said they had a different receptionist working back then so it could've been her fault. When I tried to reschedule they said that masseuse isn't taking anymore appointments for the rest of the year and she hadn't been taking appoints for the months prior. I literally waited 4 months for this appointment only to be turned away when I could've booked somewhere else. Total waste of the very small window of time I have to myself when my kids are at school and my littlest at preschool. Unforgivable and unprofessional. read more

I was going here regularly until I had an incredibly negative experience, I basically left in tears after a painful massage and a therapist who ignored my request and didn't even bother to ask me where my pain was, or stop when I told her she was going to deep. I emailed the owner my experience and her response was that she was sorry to hear about my experience. It took her 24 hours to respond to my email and she was not available by phone. I came here for a deep tissue massage and was a little nervous because its hard to find someone who knows what they are doing. I made the appointment with Nikki and found my relaxed and rejuvenated I literally came out of there feeling a hundred years younger! She is excellent at discreet draping I was totally comfortable and at ease. I will be back to see her because hear she gives a killer Swedish massage! We realized we share the same medical condition and she really helped me by recommending some websites and online groups. I feel like I was meant to meet her. I will continue to see her. I've been once not bad too much forearm used. They changed hours an on this site it says 7-7 but thats not the case. Walking up to the door blonde girl at desk looked right at me smiled locked door as I approached an pushed on the locked door at 5pm she said were closed. I just wanted to make an appt for me an a friend 2 facials 2 massages with a salt scrub. Guess they dont want my money. Btw as I write this in their parking lot the open sign is still on. This was my first experience with a full body massage in 20 years. I booked my 60 minute massage with Nikki. She was fabulous. As the previous reviewer stated she was very discreet with draping and I agree with everything she has said. I had the Swedish massage and it was terrific. She recommended that I come back for a deep tissue massage, which I totally agreed with her. I was very pleased and very relaxed.
