They do everything in house so they have a super quick turn around. I dropped off a roll of black and white and with in 24 hours had the film developed and the photos scanned and emailed to me. And then when I picked up the actual film a few days later it was cut and placed in order in a film sleeve. Can't say I've gotten that high level of service from anyone else. The staff is super friendly as well. It's a small family owned shop so they are there to help. I don't think I'll be taking my film anywhere else. I can't stress enough how pleased I am with the quality and speed of their work. They also started selling camera via consignment. So if you're looking to get back into film photography and want a nice vintage starter camera or some additional lens stop by and get a camera and some film and show this place some love. I went to Video City Philadelphia to have them transfer and edit a Mini DV tape for me. I worked…read moreclosely with Jon, the president of the company, to make sure that he understood everything I wanted done. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about everything. It turned out that I had omitted an important piece of info for him, which was that the Mini-DV was recorded in Hi-Def, a medium which apparently is not commonly used. Video City did not have a Hi-Def Mini-DV tape deck. Instead of telling me that he couldn't complete the job and to take my business elsewhere, Jon went above and beyond and called camera and video stores all over the Philadelphia area to see if he could rent their equipment to finish my project. When he couldn't find what he needed, he drove outside the Philadelphia area and picked up the proper equipment himself. The final result was exactly what I needed, and I would highly recommend Video City for anyone who needs video transfer or editing done. Jon did way more than was called for, and this is an example of how a good business is run.

Sorry to say that the service I received here was pretty bad. Some time ago, I used them to make a…read moredigital transfer of some old film footage and 1) it was expensive 2) quality of the transfer was just terrible- it looked like someone projected it on a screen in their basement and just shot it with a low resolution camera and 3) it took weeks longer than expected. There was a very prominent vignetting in all the footage that was not in the original, as well. I had it redone with a service in Old City I used before and while it was also expensive (same price) it came out properly. The girl behind the counter was also not helpful at all and wouldn't address any of the quality issues. She blamed it on the original footage quality, but when it was redone, it came out fine.
