Definitely check her out on TheKnot - SO many positive reviews and happy customers! We found Azzolina Photography on the "Philly's Best" list back when I was searching for wedding photographers in 2015/2016. Beth is the best! After a quick phone call, I decided to meet with her to see some of her stuff in-person and talk details; it's SO evident that she not only loves what she does, but LOVES working with people and helping couples recognize their dream! She is so personable, organized, and thoughtful! Not only that, but her work is beautiful and I would absolutely recommend her! She worked with us (patiently!) as we changed our minds about many things, many times - always with a smile and a laugh! Super fast about getting back to us, answering questions, and even making recommendations when it was clear we were at a loss. The best part of working with Azzolina Photography, is that you're not just another client; Beth takes her time to get to know us, our vision, and what we had wanted for our big day. I absolutely forgot about her on the big day, but when got our photos, she captured every moment! We had all of our wedding photos back SUPER fast, which is so nice, compared to a 6-month-wait when working with some "big names" in the area. Check her out, she only does a handful of weddings a year to make sure she can dedicate time/energy to each bride! Also- she now has her own studio for portraits which looks amazing on her website (but I've never seen it) - the baby photos are ADORABLE.

Elizabeth Azzolina is brilliant- and that is an understatement. Photography was one of the most important parts of special day and we were not about to settle. Our initial meeting was brief but we covered everything necessary: pricing on packages, her style and most important your vision. Highly recommend adding on the engagement session. Being in front of the lens can be awkward and you don't want to struggle with this on your wedding day. Plus, Azzolina was a blast to work with. She instantly makes you feel relaxed and makes it fun! Getting these photos back will reconfirm you've made the right decision and leaving you excited for the big day. On the day of the wedding she showed up on time and kept moving things along. Elizabeth was incredible with the kids and treated everyone with respect! My family is still talking about how impressive she was with 3 kids under 5 years in age. Her photos are incredibly tasteful and artistic. She truly captured the love and joy in everyone. The only struggle you will have, is deciding which images to print! We were beyond thrilled about using Azzolina Photography. We're also confident that when you choose her, you will be in excellent hands on your wedding day. We highly recommend her, because after all, it's the "best day ever" and you should have someone so talented to capture it.

That said, Catalano Studio is the only place that I'd ever consider using for professional photography. Jeani is the sweetest person on earth, and her photographs are beautiful works of art. They're worth every penny (and she's not cheap). Jeani's studio used to be on Robbins Ave. in Northeast Philly, but she finally was doing so well with her business that she bought a single Victorian home on Bristol Pike, near the St. Katherine Drexel compound, and restored it. She now uses it as her studio, and it is filled with period furniture. The building is gorgeous, and the decor and furniture is amazing. Jeani did my Communion portraits when I was a little girl, and her pictures made me look like a beautiful little china doll. When I graduated from college, I had her do some more portraits of me, both in my cap and gown, but also in a really pretty dress in her beautiful butterfly garden out back. The only bad thing was that I got eaten alive by mosquitoes in her back yard b/c it was a summer evening, and I had on a dress and bare feet, and I am mosquitoes' favorite snack no matter where I go. But the pictures turned out beautifully. My mom also had her restore the photos of my grandparents' wedding, and they turned out really, really well. Someday, if I get married, I only want Jeani to do the wedding photos. She's amazing. *I can't post any of her photos online b/c they are copyrighted, but go to her website, and you can see some of her work.
