This school sucks, the students don't want to be there, the staff don't want to be there. I wouldn't even be going there anymore if the VA wasn't paying for it and I don't want to have to pay them back. It sucks! Go up there during class time and ask a student, any of them will tell you the same thing I'm writing.

2 1/2 stars. I graduated from Remington in 2010 with a certificate in Billing and Coding. The…read moreteachers were fantastic and most of my classmates were great. That's about where it ends though? You don't have any set program. When you get in you learn whatever they're teaching that month. Which means the person who joined one month after you is going to learn something you never did the month after you graduate. I know it's a 9 month program and they need to rush information into you, but I feel there should be something set so you learn the main things you need to know for the field! Like during my last month we actually learned about coding and some computer stuff..! The people who left before then or started after probably never had an 'hands on training' before graduating. To add to the other review, the main guy running the place at the time only seemed to care about cramming anyone he could into the school and not really giving two shakes on what happened to them or if they were really meant for the program. I know schools needs to meet a minimum, but I could only see dollar signs in his eyes and nothing more. Also, kind of adding onto my first paragraph, with so many students graduating EVERY MONTH, that means there's at least 10-30 people every month entering the job field at entry level. That's a lot of competition and unless you know someone or get damn lucky you're going to be hard press finding anything that isn't minimum hours. Also, don't trust them when it comes to 'helping' you look for jobs. They send you Craigslist, Monster, etc links that you're already looking at! And randomly throw in a few links that have nothing to do with your field.. or the medical field for that matter. I think in the almost year they were sending me emails only 1-2 emails contained any job offers from direct companies that were asking for graduates from the school and ones similar. (So you have an actual shot!) Pretty much, this school is good if you want to learn a new skill (well, get a basic idea for one with how the program is set up), but don't put all your hope into getting a better life. Like with most colleges, you'll be hard pressed. I just think with this one you'll be even more so since so many graduate each month and not just once a year. Things might have changed since I graduated, but from what I've heard it hasn't. Just be careful and have a back-up plan. (I got lucky and a friend put in a good word at her job for me. I'm not doing exactly what the program 'taught' me, but it's close enough to get something in the field later on. I hope anyone entering the program has the same luck.)

My instructor (Dana) made sure the class was interactive and made sure we had a firm grip on the material being taught. I felt very prepared to take the exam once the boot camp was completed in September. Due to some unforeseen challenges (good ol 2020 the year that keeps giving) I delayed taking the exam until December. After I scheduled my exam I spent 2 weeks reviewing my notes from class and the additional course materials (full boot camp videos) on the PMTI website. I passed the exam on my 1st try and scored very well in all areas. I will say it again.....the course materials and instruction are top notch!!! I highly recommend using PMTI in preparation for the PMP!!!!

They go the extra mile to help prepare you for the PMP exam - they offer a bunch of resources, such as a large question bank and live study sessions. On top of that, both Yad and my bootcamp instructor, Dana, are very knowledgeable and approachable. Disclaimer: I have not taken the exam yet but feel like I made the right choice selecting PMTI to help prepare for the PMP exam. Best of luck to all of you on the PMP journey!
