But I'm so glad I gave it another chance, thanks to a recommendation from a friend. Longevity has completely changed my view of what quality physical therapy should be. The three therapists I've had the opportunity to see--Kristen, Krista, and Chad--are truly outstanding. They are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and careful. What really sets them apart is how engaged they are throughout the entire session--they stay with you the whole time, ensuring that each exercise is done correctly and safely. That level of attention gave me so much confidence in my recovery. Everyone in the front are also always super helpful with scheduling and billing and always so friendly and encouraging. I came in with a lingering hamstring issue and a knee injury that had made things even more complicated, but the team at Longevity took the time to truly understand my situation. Their individualized care and expertise have helped me make meaningful progress, and I feel like I'm finally healing the right way. I wouldn't go anywhere else for PT. Longevity is the only place I trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy.

I was assured I would have the guy who runs the clinic. When I arrived, I had my forest evaluation with a very young man, he was nice and thorough, but oh so young. When I got home I looked up the therapists on the website and didn't see him. At my next appointment, I asked him why he wasn't on there like everyone else. He said oh I'm just an unpaid student here for the summer. So much for being assured I'd get someone with experience with my situation. Super nice kid, so I went with it. Other than being annoyed that the guy I was told I'd have didn't even observe the evaluation. The kids that lead your exercises are just that, kids who'd rather socialize amongst each other than pay attention to you. I'd finish what I was told to do and sit there looking around to get one of them to tell me what was next. One day this lady and I sat up looking around at the same time and she looked at me like what the heck with the same frustration I had. The guy who runs the place, I think it was JJ, never once got his ass off his barstool the entire weeks I was there. I was done, went and paid cash for PT when my insurance paid 100% just to avoid this joke. I called the corporate office to let them know....and no surprise....no one called back.

Stay as far away as humanly possible from this place. I should have listened to the negative…read morereviews. The front office staff is HORRIFIC. I waited almost 4 weeks to get in to be seen to establish care in San Marcos. Have an appointment in 3 days, and got a call that Frankie Alverez the Director cancelled my appt. for a team meeting. Ok...fine, can I get in later in the day. No, I can get an appt. in 23 days or I can drive 40 miles to another location and be seen at 7am tomorrow. Like another reviewer said cannot get an appointment, and staff is terrible. Do not go here....find anywhere else.

Well first I hesitated about writing a review because I don't like to leave negative reviews, but…read morein this case I have to share some thoughts. Unfortunately, Ive had over 10 knees surgeries and very familiar with physical therapy (since I had to do PT each time) and the techniques that are used. I am a self-starter, over-achiever, and know it takes hard work it takes to get back to 100%. I do all my exercises daily, and even get annoyed when you see others not knowing what exercises to do (because aren't we supposed to be doing them daily at home?). With that said, I have only had a total of 4 sessions in the San Marcos location and I am done. I agree with the negative comments that others have posted. Office experience and front desk staff are not friendly or welcoming. My 3 out of my 4 visits, it was a party up front. Staff was chitchatting and cracking jokes which was off-putting as a new patient there. Another time one of them had her kids up front with her while she worked the desk. I understand that we need to make concessions sometimes, but kids shouldn't be sitting at the front desk. They should be in the break area, waiting area, anywhere that is not siting at the front desk as patient check in and disclose confidential information. Each time I walked in, I didn't know what to expect, but all of it was very unprofessional. Now for the therapists... I have never had a therapist "work" on my knees by just squeezing the sides on my knee. That is literally all she did. I asked about soft tissue work because that is the main reason I come in. I do all my exercises at home, I have gotten very far in my own, what I need is tissue and muscle work to help with the scar tissue and sore swollen muscles. In all million sessions of PT in the past, the therapist will spend 15 minutes in each body part (and yes, that is what they bill insurance too) for muscle/tissue work. And here, I even timed her, she spent LESS than 5 minutes total on both my knees. And to top it off, I saw what they billed my insurance, 15 minutes! What a joke! How can you bill insurance for 15 minutes of work when you didn't do that work? That is insurance fraud! Overall, very disappointed in this facility because I had high hopes for it since the location was perfect. Oh the other negative is that this place is upstairs. I have never been to a Physical Therapy place that is located on the second floor and the elevator doesn't work all the time! Being that I had 2 knee surgeries, how would they expect patients to go up if the elevator is not working? Just keep that in mind if you need PT for a lower extremity. I read another post that are going back to Spine and Sport, I have gone to them before too in a different area, maybe I go there too!

Unfortunately my surgery was not a smashing success. I have prolonged symptoms and being treaded under Worker's Compensation which does not make it any easier.... (I ran for an AED to save someone's life and hurt my knee...) Dr. Nugyen, by a long shot -- is the most sophisticated, educated, capable, knowledgeable and compassionate PT I have ever worked with. I had quite a bit of PT in my days, -- and frankly lost belief in PT. Dr. Nugyen though, single-handedly, turned my belief into his profession around. Even though I have some significant post-op issues and may face (hopefully) a revision, - Dr. Nugyen keeps working with me with utmost diligence and patience. His knowledge base and training is superior and I could not have asked for a better PT. Though it's a busy office, the staff besides Dr. Nugyen, the office manager Katie, assistants (hope I get their designation right?) Dana and Angelica are absolutely fantastic as well. Katie is always upbeat, with a smile on her face. Capable and seemingly never stressed she welcomes any and all with a smile and handles multiple tasks with ease and grace. Dana and Angelica keep providing clients with heartfelt care, uplifting attitude and are ever so helpful. Having been there over 30+ times, it feels like home and being amongst the most caring, compassionate and dedicated friends that really welcome all and do care Thank you Rancho Physical Therapy You are an awesome crew, make the world a better place and provide us, who are hurting and trying to get back to a sense of normalcy and adequate functioning, with not only hope and off-the-scale grand professional care. You also make it a fun and memorable experience that will stay with me for life. Surely hope you know how much good you all do for us clients and the world at large. Deeply indebted and grateful, ‍‍‍ Sam N.
