I am so appalled at the experience I had with this company I am leaving a 1 star review in hopes of warning other people who need care and who may even be a current client and not realize their elderly loved ones may be in a bad situation with this group and unable to advocate for themselves. My moms temporarily needs 24/7 care while she heals from a broken leg and an emergency surgery to her abdomen. She is at home with a catheter in and is in a lot of pain and has dealt with back to back trauma including more complications post surgery leading to an ER visit from a severe allergic reaction to meds. Ashley the office manager is the most unprofessional person I have had the displeasure of meeting in a very long time. Janice, one of the caretakers (blonde hair, around 60) is a very manipulative, conniving woman who I would never trust with anyone I love. She came off very sweet and caring but would make a lot of passive aggressive comments that seemed like a red flag and we found out was being very manipulative with my mom in her vulnerable state. But we are so desperate for care right now that I was trying to see the good in her. She encouraged my mom to use medical marijuana (which my mom has a license for) and asked her where wants the people working to eat - Janice asked "Do you want them to eat their snacks at the table, living room or car?" (something to that effect) and my mom said "they eat in their car?" and Janice said "if you want them to yes" and my Mom has not ever previously had help so she didn't know what to say and agreed that if they wanted to eat in their car they can do that but of course she has no problem with them eating in the home. I then get an unannounced visit from Ashley "the manager" who should quite frankly lose her job over this (Janice too because I just cannot even believe a person like that exists) because the level of unprofessionalism she showcased today at my Mom's house tells me she is doing this to other clients and probably clients that cannot speak up and advocate for themselves. She showed up very rude and rolling her eyes coming at my mom saying Janice complained and other staff complained about the medical marijuana and she can't do that or she can hire someone else. Medical marijuana is legal and my mom has been doing it in the bathroom with the door closed (she cannot go outside due to her limited mobility post surgery). Ashley clearly did not realize Janice is the one who encouraged my mom to smoke in the first place so when I filled her in on that I saw her face change and realize she was getting two different stories. Ashley also asked really rude where can staff eat to which I told her that my Mom did not say they have to eat in their car they can eat inside. The whole thing was ridiculous this is a company we are paying good money for that we hired for help. My Mom is a very sweet woman who is in a vulnerable state and needs help. She is learning how to ask for it and it's such a shame that we had to deal with this company to find out the hard way you cannot trust just anyone- even a company designed to be trusted to care for others. We are the client. We did not do anything wrong and even if we had you need to approach the matter delicately and go in to investigate the situation. She did not call to tell me she was coming and barged in rolling her eyes huffing and puffing and basically shouting at my mother. She approached the whole thing as guilty until proven innocent and when she left I immediately confided in my mom's other helper who we hired through care.com who was also equally furious. She is protective of my mom because she knows her well and we agreed we needed to fire Angels Home Care immediately for my Mom's best interest and safety. I quickly lined up a more professional company who only employs CNAs and HHAs. The staff at Angels didn't even know how to empty a catheter. -15/10 would never recommend.

Without explanation, I recieved notification on August 29, 2025 that my intial agreement would not be honored. Mr. Bassett contacted me by phone to encourage me to find a less expensive unit. Mr. Bassett refused to reveal to me what his role was in the organization. He was rude, condescending, dismissive without apology or explaination! Had he taken the time to reviewed my file, he would have seen that my monthly retirement income is more than $10,000 and my net worth is in excess of one million dollars. A portion of my wait-fee has been refunded. However, Waterman breached our agreement and I demand a total refund! Obviously, Waterman management is not concerned with senior care. Glad that it was on display prior to my moving in!

I lived and cared for my Beloved Dad a little over two years . I took care of him 24/7 until he had to go on Hospice care at home on 2/9/21. I couldn't have been able to take care of him in our home due to he was Total care at that time if it were not for all the ANGELS this agency sent me to help. I needed 24 hr round the clock. These ANGELS treated my Dad with kindness and compassion. They kept him comfortable and clean. They had patience when little by little providing fluids by way of thickened water, ice chips, popsicle only things he could tolerate whenever my Dad asked. Also, I need to mention Scheduler Rebecca who did a wonderful job providing me ahead of the time with the names of employees and hours to be worked. Everyone arrived on time and never was I without one of the ANGELS with me. Thank you also to Rebecca who not only is efficient,but very kind and caring as well. Without your scheduling care for my Dad wouldn't had flowed so well. Unfortunately, my Beloved Dad passed away on 2/16/21. "Tremenda" was with us that morning he passed away. She would talk to my Dad from the very first time she came. Even when he couldn't speak she would have a conversation with him and look for signs he would give even subtle to answer her. My family was so lucky to have found Pat's Serenity Home Care!…read more My 85 year old mom had dementia, was falling down a lot, and became too much for my dad to handle. We first met Pat and Michael on their wedding anniversary and they canceled their plans to take my mom in their lovely home the same day. They provided snacks and healthy home cooked meals, activities to help keep my mom and other residents engaged, and top notch care around the clock. Pat & Michael rented a van over Christmas and took my mom out to see the pretty lights. They celebrated her birthday with flowers, presents and decorated their house. During a hurricane warning, they invited my dad to come stay with them. My family and I were always welcome to visit and stay however long we wanted. They regularly sent us pictures and texts to let us know how my mom was doing, which was really sweet. Being in a private, loving home is so much more welcoming than a sterile facility. Towards the end of my moms life, Pat was feeding my mom every meal and trying to keep her as comfortable as possible.
