We moved into our home unfinished after 22 months when we were quoted it to take 10-12 months. (Yes COVID will be there excuse but they never run out of them) They have rebuilt our house inside and out 3 times over again. We've had 7 project managers over the course of our build resulting in countless numbers of mistakes causing months and months of set backs. They never take responsibility for any mistakes. They blame them on the contractors that they hire and then don't pay. We have been waiting on our one year punch list to be completed for 6 months. Every week we are met with new excuses as to why so and so didn't show up and they'll update us when they can.. blah blah blah. It's a joke. Last week our punch out guy was scheduled to come and we later found out he was pulled from our project to go work on Justin Doyle's personal farm! My story is not a singular story. There are so many pending litigations against this company for doing the same to all of their clients as has been done to my family. Why aren't there more negative reviews you ask? Their customers are so worn down by the time they are done dealing with this company that they don't even have it in them to leave a real review. They are also scared if they speak the truth JDH will never come back to finish their house. They talk down to you and insult you for having an inspection completed and believing the inspector. They give you the run around when they are confronted about their incompetence and are full of excuses. Rusted and corroded furnace cabinet in a new build house where no one has moved in yet. Builders report furnace is "new" and refuse to replace. Customer service is total crap, not easy to work with, and insulted the buyer and their family. This house is the 3rd house within 8 houses of new builds that have major defects. Items noted in the inspection report seem to be from poor quality and installation procedures. Many errors with cabinets, windows, plumbing, hvac, and cosmetic items. MI and builders were approached regarding and refuse to handle appropriately, do not provide adequate and reliable paperwork, and do not follow through with compliance. Very poor communication from management.

Dean came that afternoon, looked the job over, gave me a fair price, began work the next week. He covered my floors, and stairs, cleaned up before he left. Noticed several other issues I had while he was here, one a light in basement, and the other water faucet leaking, he did not try to add things to run the bill up, which I appreciated. The basement was redone sue to a leak less than a year ago, so I was very thankful he saw, told me, and took care of issues that should have been done before. Any other home needs I have I will be call DNA right away.
