I started visiting Dr Ashford over two years ago. I had and injury to my back and was unable to walk without a walker. He was able to put together a plan that got me up and walking in no time. Prior to seeing Dr Ashford none of the other doctors I saw were able to provide any relief for me. Dr. Ashford seems like he cares about providing better quality of life for me and he was providing that for a while. We tried injections which didn't work nor was I made aware of that my insurance would not cover it. That was a nice 900 dollar bill I'm still paying on. He did start me on pain medication and I was finally stable and able to work and even exercise again. My quality of life was improving for the first time in years. He is now lowering my dose knowing good well it is effecting my everyday life. He has pushed at every single visit about ketamine infusions which costs thousands of dollars and there is no guarantee it will even work. His answer to that is to save up the money and give it a go. I'm sorry but pushing your patients when they can barely afford to make it as is, is not the answer. read more

I have 8 herniated disc, arthritis in my lower back a blown out knee and chronic tendonitis in my right elbow. I served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and US Army Special Forces for a long time and now my body is paying for it. Dr. Ashford in the 3rd pain management doctor I have seen in the last 4 years in this area. He has been the most attentive doctor I have ever seen in Georgia. He takes time to get to know you and applies all possible means to help alleviate your pain. It took me time to find a doctor that actually spent the time with me and solved my problems. I also have a genetic condition that causes my liver to reject a lot of medications, including a lot of pain medications. He has been able to get me on medications that have helped tremendously and has begun to give my life back to me. I highly recommend him and his staff. His practice it beginning to explode as many people have found this out as I have. At times there can be a wait but you have to remember the first time you saw him others may have had to wait a little longer also. He does this for everyone, so be patient as he will get to you as soon as he can. There are doctors around that got a license to practice pain management but are not anesthesiologist. If they were a good doctor to begin with they would not have the time or need to get into this field. They are out for the money only. Dr Ashford is an anesthesiologist and will not quit until he finds the best solution he can but you have to be honest about the meds or procedures if they work or not. That way he can and will continue to do his best to help you. With nearly 20 years of pain management care, the one thing I have found out is that you can't give up in trying to get yourself better. Dr. Ashford is one of the worst doctors I've ever encountered in my life. His mood is unpredictable and ranges from jittery and on edge to rude, hostile and aggressive. He has no business having a medical license, much less being in pain management. His blatant disregard for patient care is alarming. He cuts his patients medication, for no reason whatsoever, without a care in the world for their well-being (and often for financial gain, when it comes to his ketamine infusions). If you question him, he will, quite literally, yell at you. He takes advantage of the fact that he is a doctor with a medical license and you're on controlled substances, because he knows what a vulnerable position chronic pain patients are in. If you bring up the fact you've discussed his glaring disregard for patient care and his blindness to the CDC guidelines with another physician, he will become IRATE. The way he abuses his medical license and his patients is sickening. Stay away from this "doctor." read more

I have an appt tomorrow, was w/one group who pushed back injections & radiowave needles in pts backs to get any medicine that actually helped them. However I have issues with that-& pts in the waiting room said it didn't work but they "had" to have these done! Then I found out thru my insurance co. that they were fraudulently charging my insur for these shots I never got!! They rec'd 1200$ 3 times! When I found out I told my insurance I never had 1, & the group said I had a "dirty" drug screen 3 mos ago, tho every mo they still saw me. I didn't HAVE a urine drug screen. I called the office I went to that month & asked if they'd ever done a urine screen on me (I was new to that office)-they said NO. I'm an excellent RN & I'm NOT a druggie. I'm not stupid either. I know if I ever had a dirty screen I'd be kicked out, & I don't do any other drugs, drink, smoke pot. Now they put that in my record Idk if I'm blackballed. I'm praying this group isn't shots & intervention-driven as all people have different needs. My pain is from issues not related to my back anyway. I'll update how my appt goes! read more

I've been incredibly impressed with both Dr. Ashford and his practice. I had an extremely severe sinus infection, and he saw me frequently and made sure the office staff would fit me in as needed until I was recovered. I never have to sign in because the staff remembered me after me first visit. I've never had to wait in the waiting room longer than 5-10 minutes, which is unlike any other specialist practice I've ever visited. The facility is beautiful and well equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and the care is excellent from the office staff to the nurses to Dr. Ashford. I am very pleased. read more

Dr. Beth Ashford and the Ashford Clinic are THE BEST!!!! Dr. Beth Ashford performed both of my daughter's ear tube surgeries. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by friendly staff, directed to where we needed to be, and treated with kindness and respect. The staff put myself, my husband and our daughters completely at ease! My 3 year old generally hates doctors and won't let anyone come near her, but Dr. Beth Ashford has such a gentle spirit about her the kids warmed up to her immediately. All of our questions were answered and the surgery explained in terms we could understand. The surgery center is just beautiful and so clean - it is SOOOOOO much better than having to go to a hospital for this procedure (which we have had to do for one of our girls in the past). Ashford Clinic worked with us to schedule the surgeries first thing in the morning since the girls could not eat before the surgery. We were overly pleased with the entire experience!!!!!! We love and highly recommend Dr. Beth Ashford at the Ashford Clinic!!!! read more
