The phone rang, then it was answered by an automated system, then I was transferred twice. By the time someone answered, I was thinking I do not want to go through this to make an appointment in the future. The woman who answered was pleasant. I asked her if she were at the local office or at a centralized location. She told me the latter. I told her why I started my calling process and why I decided I was not going to be making an appointment. I asked her if there was anyone she could pass my comments on to. She was silent. Then I told I would just make a review such as this that I am doing now.

My wife and I both went in for our annual physicals and we both got bills for what was supposed to be a free preventative services. Mine was $50 and my wife's was over $350! After a dozen calls to their billing department (who is never available and when you finally reach someone they claim to not be authorized to make a decision) they disclosed the reason for the $350 is because the PA asked my wife a question (which she answered) and they considered that not to be "preventative care" and so without any disclosure charged her over $350 for a separate office visit which our insurance refused to cover. Talk about entrapment! If you use them, be very careful to not answer any questions the Doctor ask you as they will use this as an opportunity to hit you with a sneaky bill. It is nice they respond to the reviews in this forum, but please note this is not helpful as the phone number they give is the same one that you can't get ahold of anyone in billing and the email they give, no one responds to except to say they are unauthorized to help.

However, I had to come back in and get another ingrown out that I thought I would be able to get myself. It left it a fragment which caused pain. And needed medical intervention. I anticipated the needle going into my toe and being anesthetized like the time before, but Dr. Johnson said it would be small and no big deal. He proceeded to use some freeze spray (which only takes maybe the initial sting away) and then went right in. He operated quickly, and intensely, being very rough never offering to stop or providing anesthetic besides the initial freeze spray. He made comments to me acknowledging he knew how much pain I was in. Stuff like "Oh I know, bad doctor bad doctor" and continued to cut all the way to the nail matrix. With NO anesthetic. I can only imagine this is what true torture feels like. After the procedure he stuffed cotton under my raw dug out toe nail while I wailed in agony. Don't think it's standard procedure to do that to someone without anesthetic. It was torturous and completely unnecessary. He showed no empathy or remorse and didn't ask me once if I wanted anesthetic. Cost me $50 and the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm not coming back. And highly advise others to consider going elsewhere to have your ingrown removed if you value being treated with respect like a human being. After the procedure I was burdened with a week's worth of nightmares regarding the experience along with emotional distress and lots of crying. Bad for us, but good because they are 3 miles away from the house. I think you get better homeowners insurance if you ask! Great staff at both locations. I've been for several issues this past year and if it was too much for urgent care- they immediately get you over to the ER and send the paperwork with you. You have the normal forms but since I'm in the NG.NEG Hospital system, paperwork was quick. ER staff is kind, soft touch as are the doctors. Clean- since its all new, but all staff at both locations are caring, get you in and out, and don't look like they don't want to be there. The Doc I saw here today 1/26 was a specialist and got me in and out with the right diagnosis and on my way to pain free!! Glad to have one nearby.

I have been going to this urgent care since I was a baby. I have never had any complaints about…read morethis place but I was so sick throwing up losing fluids not being able to keep down fluids so I came to urgent care waited for like an hour, which I don't mind, I know they were busy, but when I got back there, they needed to take blood for me and give me fluid through an iv. the nurse I don't remember her name I wish I did because I would tell y'all not to let her near a needle with you ever. But she was fishing in my veins, which is not allowed that is not a good thing to do. That is very bad. Not sanitary at all. I'm not even a nurse, but I was in nursing school and even I know not to do something like that. So why is a professional doing something that's discouraged. She did it on both arms before going to get the doctor. She could tell I was traumatized because I was sobbing, shaking and hyperventilating. When the doctor came in I said I want to go home I'm not doing any more of this. NOT TO MENTION she literally said "no one's veins are working today" I think there's a common denominator and that common denominator is her. I tried to add photos but apparently blood isn't allowed on here. Yes. Blood was dripping down my arm. But no blood in the vials! She needs to be fired immediately.
