I received the claim on my insurance portal about two weeks later, and called them to verify amount, services, etc. Their office does not handle any of their own billing. This was inconvenient for me to have to call another company to discuss/pay my bill. They don't seem to care in the least about delivering good service to their patients over the phone after you've used them. I hope that they will put some practices into place soon that will continue to give good service to patients after their procedures as well. They have some area for improvement without a doubt.

It's a scam. But posting here doesn't help -- If you have been harmed by this company, post a review of your surgeon who ultimately decides who will anesthetize you. Mention Anesthesia Consultants by name. They'll get the picture.

Dr. Ashford in the 3rd pain management doctor I have seen in the last 4 years in this area. He has been the most attentive doctor I have ever seen in Georgia. He takes time to get to know you and applies all possible means to help alleviate your pain. It took me time to find a doctor that actually spent the time with me and solved my problems. I also have a genetic condition that causes my liver to reject a lot of medications, including a lot of pain medications. He has been able to get me on medications that have helped tremendously and has begun to give my life back to me. I highly recommend him and his staff. His practice it beginning to explode as many people have found this out as I have. At times there can be a wait but you have to remember the first time you saw him others may have had to wait a little longer also. He does this for everyone, so be patient as he will get to you as soon as he can. There are doctors around that got a license to practice pain management but are not anesthesiologist. If they were a good doctor to begin with they would not have the time or need to get into this field. They are out for the money only. Dr Ashford is an anesthesiologist and will not quit until he finds the best solution he can but you have to be honest about the meds or procedures if they work or not. That way he can and will continue to do his best to help you. With nearly 20 years of pain management care, the one thing I have found out is that you can't give up in trying to get yourself better. It take time and effort.

It is in the new wing and I swear it's the largest, most luxe room I've ever had anywhere. The bed is incredible! It is so very comfy and has a ton of buttons to adjust for comfort. There is a cell phone caddy with a usb charger built in. Loved that feature! The tv is good sized, much larger than the one in the ER room I was in. Dietary called me every day to ask what I wanted for meals. They offered several options and I could customize my plate as I wanted it. Never seen that before either. My doctors kept me informed and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The nurses and techs were very responsive. No complaints!! All my medical records are stored here so any specialist I go to can access them easily. I always try to choose Piedmont affiliated providers. They have a great patient portal where I can look up my records, visit summaries, medications, appointments including my past appointments, and contact my providers. No one likes being in the hospital but if I have to be, I want to be in this one.
