I have only lived in the area for a few years, but Village North is not really been mentioned to me…read moreas a viable option for an apartment. I noticed some construction going on the other day and thought I would check it out. The exterior of the buildings seemed a bit dated, but the clubhouse and office was amazing! I spoke to Rachel, who was very professional and truly seemed interested in my needs. She showed me their model apartment and I was wowed! The layout is fantastic and the upgrades are awesome. Again I don't know much about the property, but she explained that they were doing a lot of improvements and it was obvious. I have searched a lot of different apartments since coming to monroe, but Village North really seems to be trying to give residents a nice value for a low price. So as far as the apartment itself goes - I give it a 9 out of ten, the exterior still could use some different paint to bring it into this decade, but the leasing agent (Rachel) made me want to rent there even if the apartment had not been so nice!!

I hate the our deal went south at the last minute. Frank did a miraculous job at trying to save it, but as they say in business timing is everything. I am so sorry the "yeah me" came out due to the interesting timing of our deal and I became completely unmotivated. He knows the Ruston / Lincoln parish market like no other and gets the job done and we would have had a deal had the state legislature not taken action to right a grievous wrong against the People of Louisiana right in the middle of our transaction. I have waited a few years to see if they would come through on what needs to be done with the house…read moreI bought. It'll be three years in December since they delivered and finished set up. First the cut the carpet to short and couldn't replace. Then the paint the had was "close" enough to the color they were patching. I talked with manufacturer through emails and they sent people to try and repair everything. They did replace the broken doors. I still have a 4"x8" hole in my entertainment center because homes plus has never came out to fix it. I have spoken to three different ladies in repair over the years still not fixed. The repair technicians they sent to fix it painted outside my house with water based paint. So how did that work you think? Plumbing had a hick up homesus said oh we didn't hook it up you need to call someone else. I used a contractor provided by homes plus. I still have damage to door frames from setup never repaired. They got me what I wanted but as soon as they get the check they are done. I do want to say I worked with John and he is by far the best salesman I have ever worked with on any purchase in my life. I hope he gets a company that falls in line with his outstanding commitment and work ethic. Would not recommend homesplus to someone looking. Drive to Bossier or Vicksburg.
