Working with Ashleigh was so much fun! I booked with another photography firm she also works/partners with--so I had another contact when it came to the business side of things, but Ashleigh was my lead shooter for both my engagement shots and wedding day! During our mini engagement shoot, there was a miscommunication with the locations and we ended up being 20 minutes late and only had 25 minutes left to take pictures before the sun went down. No fear and not a problem for Ashleigh! She made my husband to be and I feel so comfortable and had all the poses ready for us. She also told us what to expect for our wedding day and some of the same poses she would use--which was nice to have a point of reference! In the end, we got all the photos and for a mini shoot I was able to get a good 70+ photos to choose from. (Very happy with the outcome! SO beautiful!) Fast forward to the wedding day and Ashleigh brought the energy ! She was happy and ready once she got there. Side note; I did pick a package with less time, so the day did go by SUPER fast, but my husband and I wanted it that way. We aren't big "let's take the time to take pictures" kind of people--it was like we wanted the picture but we didn't want the whole day to be revolved around taking pictures and so we had a limited time for photos. With that said, all the shots we DID want we got and Ashleigh was more than happy to oblige to our requests! We had a lot a of fun with her team and when the photos came back we were stunned with the over 750+ photos we got back and how beautiful everything turned out. As promised we got the shots and then some!! Overall would recommend booking Ashleigh. She's sweet, makes you comfortable around the camera, can set clear directions and really knows how to work with what she has. Ashleigh knocked it out of the park in EVERY department. I was planning the wedding from across the country and she was beyond helpful in every way she could be. Not only did she do a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup, she arranged all the other artists who worked on my party! She knew exactly what would photograph well and BOY did it. If you couldn't tell by the amount of photos I uploaded she gave us MORE than enough to obsess over for years to come. Ashleigh came high likely recommended for our wedding and engagement photos... and she did NOT disappoint. First of all, I spent bonker money on a dress I ended up not liking in person (for the engagement shoot)..I sent a photo of the dress to Ashleigh and she told me to wear it, that it would photograph well.. I trusted her and I did it.. and I don't regret it, and I say this because as a PRO she has a good eye of what will look good on camera.. Second of all, I love someone that can professionally tell me "don't do that with your face" or "don't do that with your shoulder", I loved that Ashleigh didn't just snap away but actually paid attention to details that would matter so much and cared enough to let me know without making me feel less confident.
