We were so blessed to find Kyle. We had a small elopment/wedding around sunset. Kyle helped to photograph the entire ceremony and took wedding photo for the family afterwards. The sun was setting very quickly but Kyle was able to use his professional lights and make the best use of light and time. In the crazy year that is 2020, I decided to get solo pictures taken since it didn't make any sense to me why women have to be getting engaged or having a baby to get beautiful pictures taken. I googled for Joshua Tree/Palm Springs photographers and stumbled upon Kyle's website. I reached out to Kyle on the phone and told him my plan to propose to my girlfriend, who was living in Los Angeles while I was in Chicago, in Joshua Tree National Park. He helped recommend a place and time (based on optimal lighting) within JTNP and quoted me a fair price. I was sold, sent him a deposit on Venmo, and waited until it was closer to the actual date to reach back out. The week before we were supposed to do the proposal, the COVID-19 virus was spreading and impacting business operation. I reached out to Kyle and he assured me he was on board to go through with the proposal as planned as long as I was comfortable. I made the executive decision to move forward with the proposal in the midst of the pandemic and Kyle supported me. The day before we were supposed to meet at Joshua Tree National Park and do the proposal, the state of California decided to close the park to vehicles. This meant that we could not drive in the national park and therefore I would not be able to propose the next day as planned. I called Kyle the night before the original proposal date, panicking about how to make this work, and he recommended we move the proposal to just outside Palm Springs at the top of Canyon View Trail. I trusted him and it turned out to be one of the best proposals I could have imagined. He scouted the proposal spot at the top of the trail, held the spot until we arrived, and even marked an "X" in the sand so I would know where to kneel for the best angle of the gorgeous mountain background. Working with Kyle was hands down the best photographer decision I could have possibly made. I don't think there is a more flexible, honest, communicative, and skilled photographer for the price. Kyle made an impossible proposal possible and helped guide me from start to finish. I would recommend Kyle to anyone and everyone in the Palm Springs/Joshua Tree area, extending that out even to LA folk as well, who are looking for an amazing photographer. He did our engagement shoot back in November 2019 and he made us feel so comfortable.
