We first walked in the place is set up pretty nicely. I went to get my make up done and the girl did a fabulous job, I looked flawless. Our photographer was great, he listened to our ideas and really made us feel comfortable. The photos came out amazing, we looked as if we were shooting a magazine advertisement. Our photographer was also a big help in making sure are wardrobe went well with the back ground and the poses. The only reason why they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because if you leave anything there, they won't return it to you and will actually either throw it out or sell it on ebay which I think is absolutely ridiculous if you come to pay all that money for photos and they don't have the decency of returning an item to you. I kinda understand where there coming from but still I think it's really harsh

I was shocked at how hostile, unprofessional, and passive aggressive she was with a potential new client. I was simply trying to get basic information so that I could book my session. Her first response to my first question- As stated in the ad, just one example of her passive aggressive tone. Then she proceeded to antagonize me and try to pick an argument. Her final classic passive aggressive jab after I called her out on her rude behavior- sorry you feel that way. I just had to laugh it off and move on as no photographer is worth dealing with this treatment. If getting simple information was this aggravating I had no interest in booking with her. It turns out I dodged a bullet because I discovered months later that a new friend had used her for her newborn photos and told me it was a nightmare to get her actual photos back with months of delays and bogus lies and excuses for the delays. I didn't want over saturated color (like many photographers do), but wanted natural, beautiful photos. She also takes time in finding the perfect spots to take pictures. They were very organized with their time- - everything was planned according to a schedule that was prepared for us weeks before the wedding. It's so funny the difference a professional photographer makes. I have the same photos of wedding events from her and from family and the difference is crazy. She blows them out of the water with her eye for beautiful shots. Not only that, but she was great to work with, so friendly and very professional. One thing though I was a little disappointed with is that some pictures on the beach, including my ceremony were blown out so you can't see the sky. This is because Katie's style is to use natural light without a flash and no editing. I totally respect that and knew about it before hand, but it was a little disappointed by those photos. After some editing on photoshop I was I able to edit the sky back in, but for the price I paid $$$ I would have appreciated if that editing came with my photos. However, as a whole I was very happy with her work.
