Unfortunately, once we became clients, communication became a major issue. She was extremely difficult to get a hold of, and getting responses to calls or messages was frustratingly slow. It's hard to articulate how whole-heartedly I recommend Ashley as an agent! I had worked with four agents before her: two in LA and two in Austin. Some of them were extremely successful and all lovely people but Ashley is cut above. I felt 100% taken care of at every turn and 0% pressured at any point. I started the process a couple of months ago when I started casually looking for places on my own using Zillow. Ashley and her buyers assistant Chelsea were AMAZING. Are you on the fence? Hire them. We primarily worked with Chelsea as the point of contact. Ashley came in at various times to advise, affirm decisions and assist with our development plans. We weren't sure how crazy we were trying to buy a home remotely. We knew we wanted to relocate to Austin and selected a general area, but still had a vague understanding of what was going to work best for us. From the beginning, Chelsea and Ashley made us feel at ease with the process, indicating that they had much experience with remote buyers and that they would go above and beyond the hunt to ensure that we would land the right home. So the first step was finding the right neighborhood. We could only get a basic idea of neighborhoods while searching online. Any questions that came up I would text Chelsea and she gave quick and detailed responses to provide us with a better understanding of the character and types of homes within each area. My wife traveled to meet with Ashley and Chelsea and came back home with confidence in the team. She found that they took notes of what her preferences were and seemed to have a clear understanding that they would put forth to examining any potential homes.This was illustrated during our search as Chelsea visited homes for us and gave us honest feedback on what would not be appealing to us. We ruled out several homes that looked good on listing, but Chelsea was able to see that we would not be happy there. I really appreciated her objective feedback that only reaffirmed that she knew what we wanted and would help us find that right house. At times she video chatted with us as she walked through homes, giving note to nuances, it was as if we were there ourselves. When we found what seemed like the right home, Chelsea worked overtime and got the house in contract on the same day. The only issue was on updating the home to our preference, and that is when Ashley stepped in. She had a number of remodeling connections and arranged to meet me at the property. We walked through and right away painted a picture of how to transform the home to make it improved and to our liking. I saw some of the other homes that she updated and sold, so I knew that she and her contractors could make our exciting new home perfect. Then negotiations happened and Chelsea and Ashley came through with some major improvements for the seller to take care of before we closed. I haven't seen what other negotiations she's done for buyers, but for us it couldn't have been handled better. We were not going to have to lose money that we wanted to use on remodeling for necessary repairs. They got the seller to cover that. Bonus: At some point during our closing period, I had some medical problems. It was a really scary day and there was an ambulance involved. Ashley and Chelsea sent me a get well gift on the same day and it made me feel so much better. Actually, every time I became nervous or getting cold feet, a conversation with Ashley or Chelsea would set me right back into feeling good about our choices and direction.
