I was nervous coming here. I'm a plus sized bride and I haven't had great shopping experiences in general in the past. I had looked online and seen that they had styles like what I was envisioning for my day, as well as them claiming to be size inclusive. When we arrived, we were greeted in the most welcoming way, with a sign that was put up welcoming all brides for the day by name. We were escorted back to a semi private room that had a sofa and chairs for myself and my guests with a curtain for me to change behind. They have a white robe with the word bride embroidered on it in pink for you to have on in between changes, which is so cute and sweet. It didn't fit me, unfortunately, so I think they should have some plus sized ones, but the sentiment is still appreciated. The consultant, Grace, was so sweet! She asked about the wedding, what I envisioned for my dress, budget, and about the groom and myself. She went and picked a few dresses for me to try that she felt fit what I described. Right off the bat, there were some amazing ones! After that, she let me go look on the floor with my made of honor to see if anything spoke to me. I found a few more to try and there was one she was looking for but couldn't find. She spoke with the manager who was trying to find it for her and told her the price, but it ended up being a little outside of what I told her my budget was. My maid of honor spoke up and said my fiance had told her in private that I was to get whatever I wanted no matter price so if I wanted to try it on to try it. I let Grace know if she felt I'd like it I'd be happy to try it. As we were trying on the dresses we pulled, the manager brought in the dress and told Grace to make sure to double check with the budget before I tried on the gown, which I understood as it was double what I had put on my interview, even though I had stated it was flexible beyond that. After all was said and done, that was the dress! I said yes to the dress! Grace helped me see it with two different veils and I found this gorgeous headpiece that matched my wedding and our life in general perfectly! This would have had 5 stars because I'm so happy with my experience except for one thing. When I was on the pedestal waiting for Grace to get the sign for my photos, a blonde consultant with her hair in a bun who had not said a single thing to me the whole time I was there was following Grace from my pedestal to the shelf, back to me, back to the shelf, talking the whole time about the cost of the dress and the budget. I heard her whispering about it. I guess she saw me staring at her waiting for her to say something to me because she looked at me and said the dress was gorgeous, she helped Grace find it. I understand not wanting a bride to find a dress outside of their budget because of the distress it can cause (I used to work in the bridal industry), however, I have no idea who this consultant was and she didn't bother to have any kind of conversation with me to learn that the circumstances of my budget had drastically changed during the appointment. I'm not letting it tarnish my day or my visit, but for a younger bride, a bride who may not be as sure of themselves, or just a bride who maybe doesn't have thicker skin like myself because I'm at an age where I don't care what people think, that situation could turn someone off from buying a dress from here or make them feel judged for having a budget. That's a conversation that consultant should have had with Grace in private. After taking my measurements, I headed to the front where I put the headpiece on layaway as it was the last one and discontinued. We also checked turn around time on the dress and got information for down payment so I can call to pay that. Grace wrote everything down for me and said there would be detailed notes in the system so when I called there would be no confusion. I left here feeling so at ease. Not only did I find my dress, but I felt like a person, I didn't feel judged or looked down on. Grace was the absolute best and it was such an amazing experience working with her. It was worth the almost 3 hour drive here and I'd recommend them to anyone! read more

Customer service gets 5 star. My sister who is getting married made an appointment and they were very accommodating when we made changes. Getting to the shopping center is a bit tricky but over all it has plenty of parking spaces. When we got there, we were welcomed and after a few questions for the bride we were on our way to the dressing Room. The dressing room is big and this store is clean. They have a huge selection of really nice dresses. We end up loving 2 dresses and went back to the store the next day to try them again. This place is your one stop shop. read more

In 2019 I was a part of a Brides Across America group that came in and I found my dress, I also found a STUNNING veil at AGB. Fast forward to 2020 and I changed my dress and my old veil was ivory along with my dress but my new dress is white. I understand a lot of bridal places to final sale, "not our fault" but NOT THIS ONE. I spoke to Teresa who went above and beyond to help me. I loved the veil I had and I needed it in a different color. At first it wasn't a possibility and we were looking at other options and viewing some over Facetime as I'm not in the area, until I get a phone call that some calls were made and now I can have my same veil in white. She asked me if a longer cathedral would be okay and if not they can cut it down to what I had. I wanted the longer look from the beginning so ultimately that's what I chose. Teresa kept in touched shipped out the veil so I could compare and contrast and send back the one I didn't like. I am so appreciative, the best part of all is that my wedding is so close- Sept 2020 and AGB & Teresa went so far to make sure my day will be perfect. Our experience was magical from the very beginning. The boutique is absolutely beautiful and tasteful, each bridal party has their own private area with a curtain to give the bride privacy to change. Lauren was helping us during our appointment and was phenomenal. She was very welcoming and personable, always going above and beyond to help us. I had an absolutely amazing experience with Ashley Grace Bridal this past weekend. I worked with Martha to find my perfect gown, and she did not disappoint!!! Although I originally came in looking for a long-sleeve dress, Martha recommended that I first try on a spaghetti strap style that she said would be perfect for my figure, and she was right! I fell in love with the first dress she put me in!! She was very respectful of my budget while pulling gowns for me to try on, so much so that I ended up getting a veil to match and was still way below my budget price!! This place is wonderful! They have an excellent selection of dresses that are trendy, and a wide enough variety to find your style. My consultant was Liz and she was wonderful! Liz was so kind and considerate to my desires, and she picked up on queues I didn't even notice I was giving! Ashley Grace is one of the newer bridal salons in the Lynchburg area. To be quite honest, I was a little worried going in there because it looked very upscale and out of my budget; however, I made an appointment anyway and boy was I pleased! They have a wide range of dresses at many different price points, it was a breeze staying within my budget! I ended up making two trips here, and thank goodness for the owner Theresa. After trying on TONS of gowns that just weren't hitting the mark she put me into a gown that I really was not excited to try on (by the looks of it on the hanger) but I feel in love. This is the best bridal store I've ever been to! Ashley Grace Bridal made wedding dress shopping SO enjoyable! The layout of the store is set up with tons of natural light, and private rooms for you and your crew to check out each dress BEFORE unveiling it out into the main store. I loved that. Bright, airy, welcoming. The staff are wonderful and made me feel really cherished during the whole process. The owner, Theresa, is a true gem. She is exactly the kind of woman you want to work with on something this important! Warm, honest, encouraging, and a total superstar Mom. I never once felt rushed or pressured.
