Great customer service when you go to the store. but that was in November 2020 , I'm still waiting for the sofa and is March 2021!!! Now we all agree the Ashley don't have any control on they shipping and warehouse. Several years ago we purchased a couch from this store. Within one year the couch sagged, the cushions lost their shape and it was generally falling apart. We "affectionately" have renamed the couch, our slouch. We had purchased the extended warranty so we gave them a call. The warranty person came out to see our couch and while his service was great he was not authorized to replace our couch. He "repaired" our couch to the best of his ability. I would never purchase another Ashely couch as the construction is very poor. While the people at the store were good to work with the couch was a poor purchase. read more

The customer service we received when buying was exceptional, but that is where the good part ends. The chair we received was not the same chair displayed in the showroom. There were slight variances that were cheap-looking, the cushion was starting to rip underneath and one of the legs was not where it should have been. To simplify matters, we just exchanged it for their floor model. But the couch was a total mess. Within weeks of sitting on it sporadically by one person, the cushions started to "roll over". The poor quality used is unbelievable and of course afterwards we heard from others that they had the exact same problem. After looking at the photo's, our salesman agreed this is not right and we were offered a refund once the couch was back in their possession. To our surprise, store management was going to charge us $100.00 for pick-up fee which is absolutely ludicrous and insulting. Since it was a gorgeous day for a drive, we just dropped it off at their warehouse ourselves. Well well ashley furniture we meet again. We decided to give you a second chance for our business in the area of the first big girl bed for our daughter. We found one we liked and decided to order it. Great. It will be 5 days to get here, which was acceptable! Ten minutes later our sales guy calls and Oops! No it won't be in till May 14, 2.5 weeks later. Right...I can see where this is going. All right, that gives us time to look into mattresses for the bed. Sales guy calls again and says please come in to pay the ordering deposit. Okay fine, $25 is fine. I wrangle two wee children into the store and come in to do this, then on our way. There was literally 5 clients in the store and tons of sales staff yet no one came up to assist us? Really. wow. Okay..I find a desk and tell them what I am here for and I get blank looks and oh we will find your sales person. I have worked customer service for years and the indifference and attitude was just...wow. They find said sales guy, they take 10+ minutes to find the paperwork on the computer and then OOOPS OH NO! Since you didn't use your ashley card every year since you've had it we have deactivated it and you need to sign a form to reactivate it and since you and your husband are on the card we need HIM to sign too! Are you joking me...you couldn't have told me this when i PHONED THE ORDER IN so we could be prepared? wonderful. left hand and right hand have NO clue what each other are doing. Get all that done, I am not amused and trying to wrangle two kids 3 and under is fun while they are in no hurry. I phoned today ( May 4th) to check on the status of the order because, well due to past experience, I do not trust Ashley furniture be on the ball or give any sort of decent customer service. The folks on the phone are lovely and nice and then tell me oh no the bed won't be in till June 2. WTF. Are you joking me. WHY was I not phone? This Ashley store location should be investigated for consumer fraud, dubious practices, and shut down due to the unethical treatment of the majority of their paying customers. My couch was determined to be "damaged" the day before my delivery date which only came to light after phoning the store. I was duped from the get go as I was assured my couch was in stock after originally stating there was none available. The salesman and management will say anything to make the sale regardless of the availability or stock. I will be out of a couch for two months by the time it arrives. If there's any consumer purchase you've ever made, remind yourself the high cost of furniture and go elsewhere. This place is a nightmare through and through. read more

We received a delivery today of a brand new couch and ottoman, the couch was damaged-grease on the back of it. They set up a "CLEANING" for the couch- who expects to need a new couch cleaned? Ha, I just looked at the reviews mostly the recent ones and all but one of them is 1 star!!!! Eek!!! Anyway, my complaint is about their "credit card". I just got it hoping to spread my purchase cost over 10 months before the interest kicks in. And you know what, you cannot do it. There is no online access to your account. You cannot make payments when you receive a statement. The only way is to go to the Fairstone Financial place and personally make a payment. The only explanation I have for that is to "catch" people late and penalize them with 30% interest rate. Shame on you. Having said that, I must say that the delivery was great. I did not like the Manager at the Calgary, Brentwood location but sales person was nice. Make sure you do not buy mattresses over there. They are way overpriced. If they want you to get something ask for technical info eg: number of springs etc, then go somewhere else like Sleep Country which is in the mattress business mainly, and compare apples to apples. You will be surprised. Lucky for me my purchase actually was great and the problem with the credit is just a nuisance. But if I had read the reviews before I've made the purchase I probably would never stepped into the store. Just heads up to Ashley Furniture, since you will read this. Absolutely brutal customer service. First of all it took us 6 months to get our furniture (we purchased a dining set, a sectional and a chaise) when initially we were told a few weeks... Every time we talked to someone in customer service they had no answers for us. Then one of the pieces came damaged after all that time so they had to repair it. When we escalated our frustrations with the process to a manager in customer service they wouldn't do anything at all for us. Didn't even bother act like they cared. Now two years later the leather on our chaise lounge is cracking and peeling off terribly (this was something we were worried about but the sales person said that this should never happen and sold us an extra warranty to cover it if it did). We are still within the warranty period but now I'm told that this isn't actually covered in the warranty like the sales person said (again customer service doesn't care). We also bought the warranty because he said after the time period is up we get the money back as store credit. Of course it's only with a minimum $1000 purchase that it can be used against. Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere. Update: A day after I posted this someone from Ashley head office called me to say that after reading my review they looked at my file again and the manufacturer suddenly changed thier mind and would now cover the durablend. They gave us a store credit of the value of the chaise since it didn't exist anymore (thank goodness it wasn't a different piece of the sectional that this happened with). We used it to buy a dual reclining leather love seat for our basement which was initially over $2000 and on sale for around $1000. Our chaise was only $500. We ended up getting the same sales person as three years ago (Raval) and he actually remembered us, our names and what we bought and when!!! He was so apologetic and concerned when we told him about all the trouble and he met us in the middle for the price difference. It was also delivered after two days (because it was a floor model). This experience has turned it all around and now I would give Ashley one more chance. Especially if I'm dealing with Raval (Deerfoot Meadows location) and buying in-stock items rather than special orders. Alls well that ends well I suppose but it's sad the lengths they make people go to to get a solution. read more

The worst experience I had so far in Canada for 18 years!!!! Just spend $5,000 in Ashley. They improperly assembled one piece of the furniture. When I called, they asked me to haul the furniture back to their warehouse. They said I should check the furniture before took them home. I purchased a bedroom set from the Ashley furniture store two years ago and was happy with the experience. Thus was one of the reasons why I went back a week ago to purchase new living room furniture. Unfortunately, this venture has not provided the same positive result.... A week ago I received in the mail a $50 preferred customer coupon (redeemable that weekend) and details of a sale happening the weekend of March 18th. I received 25% off both an ottoman and a couch and the store applied the $50 coupon to the ottoman. When we went over the terms and conditions the salesman notified me to the section on price adjustments and that I have 30 days from purchase to redeem a price adjustment should the price go down. On Thurs Mar 24th I heard a radio ad stating that Ashley was having 40% off regular priced items. I therefore contacted the salesman I dealt with asking for details. He said he would look into and on Saturday I heard back from him stating that the sale was 40% off the first item and 20% off the second item. Therefore I would only see the price and the financing adjusted down on the couch, but Ashley would INCREASE the price of the ottoman by the difference of 5% and also would not honor the coupon I had already used. I have NEVER heard of a store increasing a price of a product already sold, and honestly am questioning/looking into the legality of this practice. This has soured my relationship with this vendor and I will not continue to return to this supplier in future endeavors. I have also advised other family members who are currently searching for furniture to avoid this store and its selling practice is extremely suspect and untrustworthy. read more

I just received my order which is now left inside the first floor of my apartment. Understandably, the delivery people cannot enter your home during this pandemic however, although they ENTERED my building the could not take it up to the next level to leave it in the hallway of the floor I actually live on. I am a single, 25 year old woman and cannot lift a sectional couch or head and foot board set. I now have to hire movers after spending 1700$! I called to ask if there was anything they could do and the phone operator was so rude and cut me off every time I tried to explain that I was not aware they could only stay on the first floor (which makes no sense). Terrible experience. My wife and I just bought our first house and all new furniture. We found the couch we wanted at Ashley but the customer service was beyond bad. Initially, we found a beautiful couch at Ashley but we were concerned that it would be to big for our space. Our sales person assured us that if we decided to switch it that it was not a problem. Well, it was to big and when we went back to the store to do an exchange it was a disaster. There were fees that we were not told about initially, we were made to feel as though we were really causing a big mess by deciding to switch couches (we were switching for another Ashley couch), we were made to return the couch ourselves and pick up our new one. We were told that we could get the couch but that we had to wait about a week and then go back to get the ottoman from the warehouse. That would have been fine except that we were told by both the sales person and the warehouse staff that they would call us when the ottoman arrived. After about 2 weeks and no call we called the warehouse and they told us that it had been in for over a week and that they just forgot to call us. Then when we went to get the ottoman they insisted that we owed the amount of the ottoman even though we had paid at the Ashley store 2 weeks prior. We waited at the warehouse for over an hour while they phoned around trying to figure out that we had indeed paid already. Once they confirmed that we had paid they made us wait for ages while they tried to find the ottoman. Two other customers came and picked up orders while we just waited. We had called in the morning about 4 hours before we showed up and let them know we were coming that day. There is more.. I could go on about how bad the customer service at this location was but it's just not worth my time. We were made to feel like we were a annoyance that the sales person just wanted to leave. Just a couch but to us this was something we were very excited about and Ashley furniture just left a bad taste in our mouths. Our new Ashley couch is nice and we are happy with it but the customer service really sucked. Won't be shopping here again So, this is an update to our review. Within hours of me posting the bad review Ashley Homestore responded (as you can see) with a post saying that they had tried to contact me by phone to discus the bad experience we had and that I should call them back. I DID NOT receive a call, text, or email from Ashley at all. I thought maybe they had the wrong number so I just called them back to confirm, and yes, they did have the right number just didn't actually call. I went through the automated phone hassle and waited on hold for a rep and once we clarified that they did indeed have my correct number the rep said exactly this, "Sir, I apologize for the experience and thank you for your patience. Is there anything else I can help you with today?" .. and that was our conversation. I don't know if I should laugh or get madder. This company is a joke you guys. We were assured that the couch we bought would NEVER go on sale and so we bought it anyway. No big deal we really liked it. I just got an email that it's on sale now lol. Spend a couple extra bucks and go somewhere else. I promise you will be much happier. Now let's see if Ashley posts another automated response to this review lol. read more

I have recently very bad experience with Ashley customer service as I bought 2 sofa & when I tried calling customer service to let them know that we have toxic smell from sofa which one of my son has allergic reaction when even smell it ,when I am trying to explain that is the image of Ashley as we trusted it ,they said ( we can't do anything until technician come to your home & there is no technician available as per COVID ) which is not reasonable & also not acceptable that we take risk on our health of this toxic smell as Ashley did not take their responsibility towards their customers. if Ashley customer service doesn't care about customer communication & toxic smell of one of their products, this means that they obligate customer not to deal with Ashley anymore & affect badly their health & safety. I want to return this product with as we are not satisfied with this toxic smell. Buyers beware! Ashley HomeStore - Is a Careless Company in our experience. Purchase: 1 leather queen sleeper/sofabed, 1 leather look sectional sofa, 2 oversize leather look ottoman. Order numbers: 0784900219 and 0784911522. First delivery, sectional sofa with one ottoman. Corner of both items arrived damaged. Delivery person reported and Ashley customer (guest) services called back relatively promptly and mentioned "we will replace the damaged items within couple of weeks." Though, it is inconvenient to deal with furniture moves in/out of house, but we accepted the replacement without any fuss. Next delivery, sofabed; it was beyond our imagination when the delivery person said "...can we leave it in your garage? Later today, other team will come and put it at the correct location." Yet again, we accepted this nonsense without any fuss. Upon reaching out to Ashley HomeStore customer service. Mr. Christopher, who attended the phone (with a perfect careless attitude) mentions: - Damaged sectional and ottoman will not be replaced, instead it will be repaired at your house. - Sofabed will remain in your garage, the earliest we can send people to put it to right place will be a week from now! By the way, we purchased brand new furniture and paid for their "while glove delivery"; there is no cheap approach here. Loud and clear "careless attitude" from an employee of any company is understandable. In any/every company, there are almost always employees who don't care about customers and ultimately give a damn about their company. However, when most of the people in the company including management "give a damn about their customer", that is what one need to watch out. In our experience, (damaged furniture, repair instead of replacement, leaving furniture in the garage for almost undetermined time frame, employees not letting customer reach manager/management) simply shouts that Ashley HomeStore is a "don't care" brand. We ordered a coffee table on line, got a fair price for it. Opted for delivery as I will be out of town when it arrives and my girlfriend would not be able to handle the table alone as it's heavy. When I called to confirm delivery, they stated that the delivery would just be to the front door, not inside?? I asked why this was and customer service stated that this was policy, it would cost another $79.00 to have it brought into the house and placed, another 30 steps. This is the WORST store I have ever done business with! I ordered a table in August, it arrived in September with a chunk of the table missing out of the leaf. I asked for a replacement leaf, and said they had to replace the entire table top. Cool. They came and took my old table top and replaced it with a table top that was on the floor of the delivery truck wrapped in a blanket, no box. The 2nd table top had black ink stains all over it! The delivery people saw the stains apologized, said they would tell a supervisor and they would reach out in 24 hrs. I ended up calling in anyway but there were no notes from the delivery person, I had to fight with customer service, they wouldn't replace the table, they told me a technician needs to come and determine he can't clean it (after I told them there is no way to clean it) I waited 3 weeks for a tech to come see it. Within 2 minutes he said there's no way he can repair in my house (which I told them on the phone) he said they will come take the table and replace it with a new one and repair the 2nd damaged one in their warehouse. Someone would reach out in 48 hours. No one reached out, 2 weeks later I call for an update, they are not replacing the table, they are not giving a loaner table. They are taking the table for minimum 1 week to the warehouse and trying to repair it. I won't get the table back until sometime in November, I have no other table and I bought the table in August! I told them I have a family, with 2 small children, we'll have to eat on the floor if you do that. They just said "I don't have an answer for you". The customer service rep would ask one questions and say "Let me put you a brief hold" 15 holds later, he has no new information. Their customer service is horrible! I just wanted my table to be new! I asked to speak to a manger, they said we don't have managers here, but the progressed to say his supervisor said no to a temporary table while mine was in repair. To boot, the table went on sale 2 weeks after I bought it, a live chat agent said they would reimburse me to give me the sale price and I would get a confirmation email and a refund. That didn't happen, when I spoke to guest care about my table replacement I brought up I was told I was getting a refund and didn't get one and he was so confused, 10 minutes into him looking into I told him keep the money, I just don't want to deal with them anymore. A Power recliner was ordered from the Richmond Hil Ontariol store mid November. Was told a delivery date would take place. Was called to be informed that item not in stock so delivery would have to be rescheduled. Said that I wanted to cancel order, was told that I would be subjected to a 25% restocking fee.. What a joke, how can one be charged a restocking fee when the item isn't even in stcok in the first place?? Companies shouldn't be selling stuff they don't have readily availble. Item finally gets delivered, that's another story for another time. I get the item out the box and assembled. The frame on the chair is not straight which is causing the seat cushion to be off centered. The bolsters are not even and this is a brand new chair. The material is crimpling on one side. I can tell right from the get go that this chair is not worth the money and it's going to be a headache or at the curb for garbage in a very short time. Called the Guest Care number to explain that the chair is poorly built and will be a problem. JP33 the CSR, told me that there would be a restocking fee of 25% if not satified with the chair. I told JP that i'm not paying anytihng for a defective poorly made/built product. Was told that a tech would have to come and inspect the item. Have to wait over 2 weeks for the tech to come and look at it. I am writing this review as I don't think most consumers know that most Ashley stores are a franchise and not corporately owned. I am having to deal with a company that is in another province and am at there mercy. I truly prefer to buy locally if I can. I am not a fan of the Brick, Leon's or Bad Boy, but would rather give my money to someone who has a better level of customer service and is able to service the client better. I will update this after my tech has visited. But do your research and see how many unhappy clients write their views... It really is a buyer beware market today. read more

Bought couch and oversized chair. First week had to call for repair to leg in middle of couch wasn't touching floor. Hadn't been placed and screwed in properly. Few months later had to call again as frame was broken. Really? Already. Kids have left the nest... just us 2 and we buy new furniture. Complete lemon. Then into covid...arms of couch sink in. Backs cushions sink. Yes for the 3rd time in 2.5 yrs the guy comes and fixes it. But buyer BEWARE!!!!! Ashley Furniture sells substandard. I initially went in to the new 64 ave NE location to purchase the sofa and loveseat, however their prices were give or take $200.00 more than online, as I had already decided what I wanted. So I purchased on line, velletri sofa and loveseat. Ordering was easy and received call soon after about delivery. 3 weeks for delivery.They brought it in and all was good, respectful and pleasant guys. The furniture is not the top notch stuff, but for 1800.00, you get what you pay for. The stitching and the seams are off, and some staples missing on bottom. I dont really care for the plastic "legs", but can replace later. Overall not bad, would order again. read more

We bought a recliner sofa and a chair and a half in September 2021, the Manager Mr. Rohit Kumar said even though the furniture was to be discontinued he 100% could get it for us. We tried calling and we left messages in late November early December when he said it would in, never got a call back. Finally in mid December we went to the store and found that the sofa was in and had been at the beginning of the month, but no one called to say that and when we would like it delivered. We also enquired about the chair and a half, the lady Jackie said it was discontinued and I said Mr. Rohit Kumar promised us that we would get it. I wanted to speak with him, but he was not in that day. The next day he called me to say yes 100% he will get the chair in, but it has been delayed until late February or early March. On the 10th of March 2022 now the whole cost the furniture just days short of 6 months we find out from Jackie that they have known they would not be getting the chair and a half for a couple of months and no call or offer to refund our money. I asked to speak with Mr. Rohit Kumar the store manager and he of course was not in. By the way the only way to get a live person is to press 1 for sales, they do not return voicemail. March 11th, Mr. Rohit Kumar called me back with a private number to tell me that I will not be getting the chair we ordered as promised with 100% certainty we would get. I have the call in December recorded. Now he backtracks and said in December " with near certainty we would get it". Now he wants to offer us the love seat which we rejected when we ordered the first time and the second time. Which we reject now a third time. Then he says he has an upgraded version of the chair which is 99% match to the colour of our existing furniture. This store manager has lied to us continually and taken our money the full price of the furniture. Because he told us the furniture was being discontinued we only wanted to put a deposit until we knew for sure we would get it, but he demanded in order to get the furniture as ordered we pay the full price negotiated. It seems that Ashley has a record of deceit with the class action lawsuit for selling furniture as having real leather when it was not and a store manager who lies to his customers. One star and let me tell you why. Had a fantastic experience with the sale rep and purchase if the furniture. Where did they go wrong? The delivery wasn't made on the scheduled date because if their error and what could have been a simple fix on their end. After calling the customer service line 2x I was hung up on after waiting on hold. I called the sales department to see if I could get some help there. The lady I spoke to there was as helpful as she could be but couldn't help beyond making a ticket for the customer service department. The driver did not contact the correct number(mine) and instead called my boyfriend while he was in school. He gave them my number to contact and let me know to meet them outside of our apartment building. No one was there when I went out and no one called me. The person I spoke to in the sales department said the driver had arrived at 5:13 PM however when I was in the parking lot at that time there was no one there. There is however another parking lot next to ours that people often mistake for ours so jot sure if the driver was there? After I called the third time I finally reached someone on the customer service line. Now this is why I'm leaving my one star. Mistakes happen and I realize that, however how you choose to address them as a business is what matters most. Do you listen to your customers and address the issue? Or do you argue with with them and have them repeat themselves over and over without offering a solution to the problem? Unfortunately this is what happened. The customer service rep argued with me about the number on file and told me we didnt update them with a new number(my number was already supposed to be on file)and instead of offering a solution like calling the driver(our scheduled delivery time was between 3:30pm-6:30pm and I was speaking with the rep around 5:30pm) or getting it delivered another day because it was their error or offering it to be delivered at no additional fee she chose to interrupt me, not listen to my problem and even laugh at me(final straw)at one point when I was obviously very upset. I work in customer service and this is not how you address a problem a customer has and I dont think I've ever recieved such poor service. This could have been easily solved or addressed with proper customer service. I dont normally leave one star reviews or blast companies on social media or google but this actually warrants it. Will be promptly getting a refund and taking my business elsewhere. read more

When my Husband and I went into Ashley's furniture looking for a new couch we had one particular one in mind we had seen in a flyer. When we went in we were greeted right away by a woman named Debbie and we told her what we were there for. So she took us over to the one we wanted to see and told us to try it out a bit and she would come back to check on us. We pretty much fell in love with the couch right away, the quality was really nice and it was very comfy! We found out that the couch and love seat together were only $1100, for imitation leather we thought that was pretty decent! We told Debbie we were definitely going to take the set, but we wanted to browse around a bit. We tried out some other couches they had, but none were quite what we were looking for. They had some great art, for very reasonable prices. There were some very nice, modern home decor pieces, mirrors, vases. I found a beautiful vase and picture frame for $25 each! They also had a great selection of throw pillows, a couple I fell in love with, they were only $25. They have a very decent selection of home furnishings, most were very nice. The other end of the store seemed like it was aimed toward a older more traditional crowd, there wasn't much we found appealing there. Debbie was very helpful and kept track of all the things we wanted. She told us about the extended warranty we could get on the couches, which even covered the cushions loosing shape! We decided on getting a couple years worth. All in all we got a great couch and love seat with warranty and delivery, very nice pillows and a cute vase and frame for $1300. The delivery went well. The guys did make a small scratch on the back of the couch, which I pointed out. They said to call the delivery business, which I did and they gave us $75 gift cert to Ashley's. Since it was only a little one, I was happy with the outcome. I was very happy with the selection and prices at Ashley's. The staff was all very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Ashley's for any of your home furnishing needs! read more

This had been my worst experience as a customer. We ordered a sectional set in to 64 Avenue store. It had to come last January 01 2019 and never came. After that the second delivery day was January 05 and the set came incomplete (missing part). Now i am waiting for this part next Jan 11. ASHLEY'S FURNITURE: A PLACE FOR FURNITURE, DISCRIMINATION AND RACISM! Have you ever felt discriminated by a salesman or anybody who thought that he was better than you because you are a woman? How about being treated like a second class citizen because you are not white? Well, this is how Karry, the owner and store manager of Ashley's Furniture Calgary Heritage HomeStore treated me this afternoon! My husband and I decided to buy a sectional for our basement. We are quite excited about this purchase as we are normally savers and not spenders. We previously had pleasant dealings with Ashley's three years ago and were hoping for a repeat experience. The day went on smoothly as we perused and zeroed in on the sectional we wanted to purchase. As they were having a storewide sale that day, we asked if we could get a bigger discount than the one that was advertised. Our salesman informed us that he unfortunately couldn't give us lower prices. He, however, could ask his manager if he could do something for us. Karry, Ashley's Calgary Heritage Homestore manager, came in already curt with the salesman- continually interrupting him and questioning his price calculation. He gave us a lower price and argued that is so much more than the 25% off that was advertised. Karry then proceeded to interrupt me as I was questioning his math on the percentage off. Karry asked my husband "CAN YOUR WIFE UNDERSTAND THIS?" I informed him that I have a master's degree, I can obviously understand basic math. This is very offensive! Why did he not talk to me directly? Does he prefer to deal with his kind? Does he think that I cannot understand him because I am a woman or because I am not Caucasian like my husband? I told my husband that we are going home and not purchasing anything from him. Karry felt the need to shout at me and my family of how he was so happy to have met us. I said, "I unfortunately cannot say the same to him." My husband, son and I stood up from the couch and walked towards the store doors. Karry felt the need to follow us and shout at me again saying "a person with a master's should be able to understand basic math!" I asked him what his name was, he said he is Karry, he is the store manager and he owns the store and then told me to never visit his store again! After you have read this, you might think I am angry and you are right! I am angry! I am angry that someone felt that need to make me feel ashamed of my gender, ashamed of my colour and made me feel simple. Karry's attitude infuriates me. I do not feel that it should be tolerated in any circumstance. I, of course, do not plan to go back to his store again; and I urge others to take a stand against any and all kinds of discrimination. The salesperson I dealt with at the Pickering was great. However their free delivery service was the worst service ever! The "customer care reps" couldn't care less about the customer.! They are rude and unwilling to accommodate customers even when they've messed up. I wouldn't have been so mad if they had shown one ounce of courtesy. My furniture still hasn't been delivered and I have no faith that they'll deliver it when they say (according to the last rep I spoke to the delivery truck might break down the day before the scheduled delivery so they can't confirm the date more than 2 days in advance). I'll just to wait and see. One thing is for sure - I probably won't shop at Ashley Home Store ever again. read more

Wish I could review this location in the negatives. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever endured. My boyfriend and I went in and fell in love with a couch in which had a sleeper. We expressed that we wanted to purchase it to their sales associate and he informed us we would not receive it until mid august which couldn't work for us as we had guests staying in our one bedroom apartment July 18th... As we were leaving the store he chased after us and said he had the sleeper in store and could get it to us for the 18th... We were beyond excited and decided to purchase it! We went back a week later to confirm delivery date on the 18th and to set up a finance plan... Customer service assured us it was set for the 18th. I went back a week later to purchase mirrors and wanted to make sure we were still on for the 18th since it was imperative we had it before 6 pm that night... Kim brown insisted that it was coming and I should get a call the day before to set up a 3 hour window. (She's probably the only good thing about this store) The 17th comes and no one had contacted us, so we decided to contact the store in which we were informed that the couch was not coming and it was "damaged"... They found out 3 days prior and failed to inform us. After talking to the managers the only thing they were willing to do for us was take the delivery charge off and told us our couches were not coming until mid august.... Let me remind you we purchased these couches in beginning of July. Them taking off the delivery charge basically only balanced out the fact we had to purchase an air mattress to accommodate our guest. Finally... We were told that our love seat is to come august 3rd and our sleeper not until august 20. When talking to the managers... One insisted we come get a refund and too bad so sad attitude... Another basically told me that spending 2,000 was nothing to Ashley and that's it. BUYER BEWARE***** read more

Worse experience ever!!! I purchased an adjustable base in September 2020, the base was defected on the day of delivery it never worked, the business promised to replace it or return it but wanted me to wait for the covid restrictions to be over, I cooperated but as soon as the restrictions were over, the business did not comply with their promise and said they can't do anything about it cause it's been in my house for too long plus they have sold my account to a collection agency, I have followed up multiple times but I have always been given a false promise that it will be returned and the base is still at my house. I have even emailed the district manager and she forwarded my email to their admin department and was promised they would pick it up in august of this year and now we are in December and nothing has been done, I have called the head office they toss me to the store and when I call the store they toss me to the head office. They have made multiple promises in resolving this issue in a timely manner and now we are a year plus going back and forth and no outcome has come out of it yet, I feel very frustrate and tired of falling for their false promises and wasting time. After all my cooperation with Ashley furniture they are coming back to me saying it's been too long, which is because of them not me, I called the store the day of the delivery while their delivery boys were in my house and I requested them to take it back as it was not working and defected but was told to wait, and now I'm being told they can't do anything about it. I will never shop at this store again. It's unfortunate because they appeared to have good quality furniture for reasonable prices. The staff seemed friendly and informative, however I found out quite quickly the information I was given was incorrect. In fact after the experience I almost felt as though they lied to get me to open my wallet. I purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs. When I purchased the furniture I was very adamant that if the furniture showed up damaged I did not want it repaired I wanted it replaced. I was told this would be no problem. Of course it showed up and the table and 1 chair were damaged. As it turns out their customer service is in the states. They refused to honor what the sales person in the store told me and were quite rude. When I requested speaking to a manager they refused and would not let me speak to another person. I called the store where I bought the furniture to try and get help from them (south location). I was told by the store manager that they have nothing to do with customer service and once I purchased the furniture it was no longer their problem. They ended up sending out a repair person who determined that all pieces could not be repaired and had to be replaced. After several more weeks I got a call saying my table and chair was in. 10 days later when the delivery truck showed up they only had the chair. I once again called the US customer service and was told that 1 week prior they ordered parts for the table because it was damaged. I told them there was no way that I would accept a table that I could not inspect the damage before hand. I also found it completely unacceptable that they were going to pass it off as an undamaged piece brand new piece. Once again the customer service staff was rude and refused to let me speak to a manager. I was so frustrated I eventually went back to the store to speak to a manager in person. When I got to the store I was told there was no manager that I could meet with. The girl at their back desk then had the audacity to say to me that perhaps if I had made more of an effort or come back into the store earlier they could have helped me sooner. This was after I spent 3 1/2 months and countless phone calls trying to sort this out. They finally ordered me a 3rd table. It took 4 MONTHS to receive my table and I still think they sent me the second damaged table and lied to me about it being new. I say this because the first 2 tables took weeks to be shipped from the states and miraculously the 3rd table showed up in 10 days. Also as a side note the sales person that I purchased them from gave me false information about the financing. I almost missed the first amount due because I was under the impression I had another month until it was to be paid. It was THE WORST customer service ever and all they did to make up for all the problems was a $50 gift card. read more

FRAUD PRACTICE AND MISLEADING CUSTOMERS. They have terms & conditions to prevent a customer from cancelling an order - even if you don't receive the goods and they don't have stock, you need to be forfeited by 25% of sale. I have not received my goods ordered more than 3 months ago. The delivery date given in the order was 4 weeks and they have cancelled many times and always tell me lies about having no stock or factory cannot produce or having partial parts. They printed a Delivery Date on the sales order but they do not have terms & conditions that says they need to honor that date. Means that you pay them and they can delay the delivery until forever and yet is not liable to give you the goods. THIS SHOP IS A FAKE ! read more

The sales and management staff were very patient and helpful with us. The delivery team showed up within the time window and were very courteous and polite. We had to do an exchange and repair on our furniture and it has been a very pleasant experience dealing with them. I will be recommending them to friends and family for sure. read more

Purchased couch first of January 2021 was told it was in production and would be to warehouse January 30. No one contacted us to let us know that this was not going to be the date received. On the 2nd of February I called asking where my couch was I was told that it was going to be March 15 before it would arrive. This time changed again no contact by the company that this had changed got email to say what day it was going to be delivered on the 27 of February between 2:30 and 5:30. It is now 7:21 and we have not been contacted that its not going to be late or even if it is going to be delivered. The app they tell you to check is crap and there is no one to call to see what is going on with delivery. This is the worst customer service. Do not buy from Ashley Home Furniture spend your money anywhere else. Have to call US and they are not helpful even rude. If you purchased good luck and if you want refund expect to loose 10% for restocking fee. read more
