I've been searching for chairs for the longest time and finally found some beautiful ones here. Lana was the sales associate that helped me, she was extremely nice and helpful. She informed me of their sales and gave me my space to look around, she wasn't a stalker like other sales people which I really appreciated. However the chairs that I originally bought were not the right height. Lana had informed me that if there was anything wrong I could return the chairs. Since I originally opted to pick them up at the warehouse myself rather than wait, I would have to return them to the warehouse. But when I called to make sure this was ok a very rude woman answered the phone and told me they do not do returns. I tried to explain to her I wanted to do an exchange, but she kept cutting me off and kept saying "No! No, we don't do returns." This is why I'm giving them four stars, because of her nasty attitude. I was able to speak with Lana and she told me I could return the chairs to the warehouse and go to the store to get my refund/exchange. When I went back to the store Lana was there and was extremely helpful in helping me find replacement chairs. She was very gracious considering this was the second time I interrupted her lunch break. Also the young woman at the customer service desk, Sandra, was extremely nice as well. She was also apologetic for making me wait, she needed approval from someone who was with another customer. So, except for one rude person, I had a great experience, and will be shopping here again. read more

She had such an endearing personality, no high pressure was necessary. We walked out of the store with almost $4,000.00 worth of furniture and a new friend. I had the pleasure of having two salespeople help me - Lisa House on the first day, but she wasn't in on the second day after I had shipped around elsewhere. I came back and Maria Osborn helped me pick out the perfect sofa, even at a lower price than I had budgeted! She helped me imagine my other colors in my room and pick out a design plan. I felt like I had a personal shopper. Truth be told, I've gone to the othe retailers and have purchased from them for years (the "no payments for 5 year people") and Ashley's prices AND quality are sooooooo much better! Do not be fooled. They lie to you about when you can expect your furniture. I purchased my sectional 11/26 for my new home with a delivery date of 11/30 and then called and told they were sold out and on back order. Since I was going to be in California for a month, I told them delivery on 12/26 would be ok. I was called today on Christmas Eve and told it would not be delivered until 12/28. I have an empty house and family coming on 12/26 . The manager Only apologizes and has no skill to try to do any customer service . They subcontract their delivery anyway and therefore have no control to promise delivery or ensure it is done right. Flying into Georgia tonight and I'll head straight to Macys to purchase furniture and cancel my order. Reporting them to Better Business as well. Beware.consider yourself warned. read more

We went in on New Years day for new living room furniture. I'd been a few days before and picked my set. We were told we could probably get delivery Jan 3, but it may be the 10th. We found a different set we liked better and when it came time to actually purchase; were told we couldn't get it til Feb 12 - over a month away. We decided on a different set which was set to be delivered Jan 15 Friday. We were called on the Tues prior and told our "complete" order could be delivered actually Wed, but we decided to keep the Friday delivery date. So they call today (Thurs) to tell us the chair with our set is not available, is on back order and they don't know when it will be in and that a store associate will call to discuss. It is now 6:30 and no one has called us. I am ready to cancel this order. This was our first experience with Ashley and it will be our last. read more

We ordered two mattresses at the same time. Only one arrived. After two days of calling, writing three emails, and speaking with two horribly rude employees in customer service headquarters, we still do not have a mattress. I purchased a small sectional that has a popup bed and the chase has a storage compartment underneath it on August 30th it was $1150 that literally seats 4 ppl but i was fine with it bc i LOVED this couch as soon as i saw it. The couch was delivered on November 7th which was great the delivery guys were nice and efficient but the back to the left side of the couch that has the popup bed attached was delivered WITHOUT THE BACK TO IT. How they managed to deliver a whole couch that came straight from manufacturing without the back is absolutely beyond me. I usually don't ever leave bad reviews bc Im in customer service too but this was far beyond a terrible experience. Today is December 26th and I have called them more than five times and refiled the claim 4 times bc they delivered the wrong piece the third time it was scheduled to be fixed. They were set to fix it today but I'm out of town until tomorrow morning and told them it'd have to be the 27th but ofc i got a call on the 21st saying it wasn't in their warehouse like they told me it had been on two separate occasions now and is actually on back order at the manufacturer so they canceled my delivery and rescheduled it for January yet their driver still showed up to my house this morning even after the delivery was rescheduled and had the wrong piece ofc. I have not gotten the back to my couch and they still don't expect it in until January 12th. Their customer service IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Communication? They've never heard of it. Following up when promised? Could never be them. Genuinely the fact that they're still in business with these kind of issues is absolutely BEYOND ME. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. Don't waste your TIME OR MONEY dealing with this incompetent lazy and unprofessional business. read more

Very disappointing experience. I purchased my section 2 years ago. We also purchased the protection plan. The couch is poorly made. Different sections of the frame keep breaking. And GBS refuses to fix or replace the couch. GBS is extremely rude. And Ashley Furniture customer service won't even respond to me. I went into the location I purchased from and was told there was nothing that could be done. It's ridiculous for a $3000 couch to be unusable within 2 years. We will never make the mistake of buying anything from Ashley ever again. And is you plan to sit on your couch, I'd recommend to go elsewhere. read more

We had purchased a kitchen table set with four chairs from Ashley's on the day of delivery they moved it into our house and every piece table and four chairs would not sit level on the floor the delivery guys tried to tell me it was my floor so we moved it out to the garage were it's perfectly flat with the same problem and I said I did not want these pieces they told me that a representative would come out shortly and they weren't going to take it after waiting two weeks with no contact from Ashley's I reached out to the manager of the store Fred and I told him the what the delivery guys had told me and he said oh they do that to bamboozle you "" so I asked him why would he allow that if that's the normal practice and he just laughed then began to get offensive with me I still have not received them to pick it up or representation and it's been over a month now I highly recommend staying away from Ashley furniture at least at the Kennesaw store. read more

Still waiting on my picture frames. Francesca Tiskulich and all of her colleagues are all liars. Cannot wait to file a complaint with the BBB. We are now in June and I purchased my furniture at the beginning of the year. To hear that my order has now been closed out because it was so long ago even though I've called and visited the store to find out the status of a missing item that I now own is COMPLETELY insulting. I just have to thank one salesperson in particular at Ashley: Mr. Mike O'Neill. Before I get into Mr. O'Neil's wonderful salesmanship and service, I need to give a little background about his customer--my mom! My mother just moved from New York to enjoy retirement in Georgia, while being close to us kids. She's purchased and renovated a home, and yet the biggest struggles have not been surrounding those tasks, but around furnishing her new house! I have to tell you, my mom's an HGTV-buff who can be strong-minded, firecracker of a woman who loves to take her time when picking out decor. She likes to visit a piece between 3-5 times, after comparing prices with the other furniture stores, and then return and check out the furniture selection again. She likes to ask the same questions, more than once, to be sure that the salesperson is being truthful and getting her the best deal. My mom is no joke! And, honestly, after visiting other stores a couple of times, most salesmen became rude, impatient, and obnoxious when dealing with my mother who likes to check, and double-check, before finally making a decision. I have to tell you, Mr. O'Neill has been wonderful! Each time he dealt with us, each of the six times LOL, he remained patient-- going over the options multiple times with my mom. After asking my mom about her needs and concerns, he made suggestions--good ones! One could tell he wasn't only about making those sales but basing his suggestions on his knowledge of the Ashley inventory, and on what seemed to make sense to my mother's lifestyle needs. Even at the risk of losing a sale, when he knew something might not satisfy my mother's needs, he suggested something else to better address her desires. He also gave us the necessary space to browse, rebrowse, and browse again. Somehow, while doing so, he was never too close to make my mother feel "pressured" but just close enough to show up just when a question came up. He not only helped my mother make excellent choices, but even was willing to resolve an issue with furniture that had been delivered. Mr. O'Neill worked with the store manager to ensure a solution to the problem was found within minutes. I am so thankful to Mr. Mike O'Neil. I am also thankful that my mom has found a go-to person she can work with until this house is finally furnished to completion! Thanks for your help Mr. O'Neil! Sofa and love seat 2500 dollars. Part missing said will deliver few days. Call store week later forgot to order part. We were told it would be 3 weeks to get. This part could have been fedex but know we have to wait to use the sofa. Call manager at Kennesaw ga put on hold over 15 minute manager at Kennesaw needs to be replaced. Customer service after put on hold 15 minutes wait said you cannot speak to manager. Don't buy from Ashley furniture. read more

WARNING!!!! WARNING!!! Do not buy from this store! We had the worst experience ever!!! My son went to purchase a bedroom set from this location in January 2021 and was given a delivery date of February 12th. They also told us that his nightstand was on back order but it would be available for delivery with all of the other items. We were told that someone would contact us before the delivery.....well, we called two days before the schedule delivery date to confirm but was told we didn't have an order. After they found the order, we were told the date had been pushed back to March 12th. So we accepted the second delivery date and again we waited until 2 days to call and confirm delivery....to our surprise, the delivery date had been moved yet a again, to March 24th. (AGAIN, NO ONE Reached out to us to let us know the delivery had been rescheduled for the third time! At this point I am pissed because my son had been waiting on this bedroom set since January. So I canceled the order and requested a refund. This time the nightstand was available but the drawers to the bed were unavailable. I spoke with Coletta on March 24th and she said it will take 24-48 for my refund. I had to call back on March 29th to request the refund a second time! I finally received some of my money back on April 1st and April 2nd....I guess she pocketed the remaining balance because they did not give me ALL of my money!!!! I will never purchase anything from this store again. I wish I could contact the CEO to let him know how this experience was for me!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this store! After spending significant $$$ with Ashley over the years, I have made my final purchase. Their quality control is non existent. Of the last 12 items I have purchased, I have had to return or have repaired all except 4 of them. When there was a quality issue, I never was contacted by Customer Service. Each time I had to contact the store directly before anything was done. The most recent delivery I rejected before it even came into my house. I never heard from the store, so I called them. This was two weeks after the failed delivery. No Customer Service + No follow up + No quality control = No more purchases by me. read more

I had the best customer service today starting with this location and then it ended up with online customer care. I ordered two of the same items on 4/27 through online order and realized my mistake on Wednesday. I attempted a few times to get in contact with customer service via phone (understandable during pandemic) and was told they would have someone call me back within 24 hours. I didn't get the call the next day so I called Ashley on Barrett to see if they could help me. They were straightforward about my options telling me I could wait on phone call and request a modification, come in person to order the items, or create a new order and request the refund when someone called me back. I did go ahead and order the other item and just so happened to receive a call from online customer care who removed the duplicate item on the online order and told me they would email me just in case I had to pay a delivery fee twice. They would reverse it. Great customer service! I was scared from the other reviews this would be a failure. Thanks so much!! read more

Sad to say, but Ashley home furniture has done a really bad job with their customer service. I ordered a dining room set, some other items and when it came time for delivery, they showed up with one guy. The guy gave my wife a story about his co-worker flipped out and left him to deliver alone. He had no equipment to assist him in the delivery so my wife had to help him. She let him borrow a dolly because he was not able to lift the items alone. Once he put the items in the home, he took off without saying a word, leaving the dining room table unassembled and laying on the floor. He did not mention that he was leaving, did not provide a reason, he just up and left. My wife did not know he had left since she was busy with other things around the house. I paid for delivery and assembly of items, so I gave Ashley furniture a call and they said they had no record of the delivery until after the driver checked back in to warehouse. I took inventory of the items and noticed a chair was missing. I advised them, and they said the same thing, they could not verify the number of pieces delivered because driver hadn't checked in to warehouse. The very next day I called back and they told me (after getting hung up on and transferred multiple times) that they verified the chair was not delivered because it was damaged and that they would order another one that should get to warehouse on 02/11/21. Fast-forward to today 02/12/21 (its been almost 3 weeks since this occured) no one ever came back to assemble the furniture. I asked about delivery of my chair and the representative told me they did not receive the chair, and that there is now no date for delivery because they don't know when they chair will be delivered. Frustrated and at my wit's end, I just said okay and hung up. Im not sure what else i can do at this point since no one seems to care. Im still missing a chair, and no one has called to offer any information on my missing chair. No one even asked if the furniture had been assembled, no one cares! It has been time consuming and frustrating because no one at this furniture store knows what the other side is doing. I will never shop here again. I am truly disappointed at Ashley furniture. They are such a huge nationwide company and it shows, because they have showed me they do not care about my situation. The best they came up with was refunding me the delivery fee, which was a paid service that I did not properly receive to begin with. This is by far one of the worst Ashley Furniture's i have ever shopped at, and now the last one i will ever go to. I bought a full house worth of furniture and with it one of their top of the line tempurpedic mattresses. i was told about their 90 day sleep guarantee by the sales associate helping us. shortly after this i was treated unprofessionally with the associate contently running off. after this we had a manager take over our order and he seamed a lot more focused and nice. that was of course till he had our money. 60 days after i received my mattress i called the store because i decided this one was a lot firmer then the one i tried in the store and wanted to exchange it to the plush one. i was then informed that i didn't have a 90 day guarantee on my three thousand dollar mattress because i didn't buy a pillow with it. they also informed me that they could not let me buy this needed pillow since when i bought it out of the 50 things they made me initial and sign was me agreeing that i needed a pillow to get this deal. now i am stuck with a three thousand dollar mattress that gives me back pains since one associate told me about a guarantee while the manger has me sign the guarantee away. if i was told upfront that i needed to buy a pillow to insure the value of my 3000 dollar mattress i would i bought a pillow with out question... but due to this places shady business practices i am the one screw over for thousands. dealing with this people on the phone was just as bad as an experience several managers on the phone showed me disrespectful attitudes and just zero lack of care for their customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values being treated with even the slightest amount of respect or who does not have a lawyer present to thoroughly go over all the legal documents since they definitely wont with you. read more

My husband and I purchased a formal dining room set and a kitchen dining set. The purchase experience was great - sales staff friendly, clean store, etc. However, actually receiving quality furniture was an absolute nightmare! They delivered 4 formal sets because each one came in damaged (one chair even had a screw sticking out that gouged my arm!!). We were finally able to receive a refund for the formal dining set after months of going back and forth with the store (for which the manager would never return my calls - we dealt solely with one of their customer service associates). We noticed after delivery of the kitchen dining set that several of the chairs were making terrible noises when you sat in them. I had to call Ashley about these and was chastised for accepting damaged furniture. They sent a technician who was able to fix them. Less than a year later, the planked table top started warping. I called Ashley again since we purchased the warranty on it. After the technician deemed it non repairable, Ashley agreed to replace it (though this was due to a manufacturing defect and should not have counted against our purchased warranty). The first 3 sets that were delivered had damage so obvious I'm not sure how they didn't notice. For the 4th set, I was guaranteed that the set would be inspected at the warehouse. I received a call shortly before the scheduled delivery to be told that the table was inspected but somehow the wrong legs got loaded onto the truck. The fifth set seemed to be great - no damage...until the delivery guy dropped it at my doorstep. Finally, the 7th set was a keeper. It took SEVEN deliveries (all of which I had to take off of work for) to get a set that was acceptable! The manager will NOT call you back and corporate will only redirect you to the store. I cannot understand how a company can get away with such poor service. I would HIGHLY recommend thinking twice before purchasing from this company. read more

Typically, we're very fond of Ashley. Moderately priced but quality furniture. The house, then apt, then three homes we've bought furniture, sets if bedroom furniture, etc. this last one, built anew home, got a king master bedroom suite. Was TOLD delivery would be on that Sunday, so we were here early that morning because they gave us a window if "open to noon". At 11:45 the guy called, running late, assured us he'd be here by 2 pm. At 2:20 he. Allied and said they'd loaded the deliveries incorrectly and there'd be one more before us. PROMISING he'd be here BEFORE 6. We waited, and waited and waited, just after 6 he called and said he'd ran into a ditch, was running late but ASSURED US they'd be NO LATER THAN 9 pm. WE waited until 9:35, having spent the day sitting and waiting fir the to deliver it. At 9:30 (Sunday night, during s hoop year, TONS of kids in our neighborhood, we'd wasted the day, with little to do/work with here but we made it. Couldn't he "There" to pack, nothing here to unpack...day wasted. We decided at 9:30, having not heard a word other Than a promise "we'll be there by 9:00" At 9:35, we closed up, headed out and got in the cars to leave. JUST as the garage doors were closing a truck cane over the hill, lights on bright all over. The guy got out and said "we've got your furniture." We can have it in by 11. We told him NO, we'd waited ALL DAY, he didn't even call about running 45 min past the last time promised, it was a close (houses close) neighborhood and most e rationed had kids going to s hoop the next morning. Plus we had work. He said they take it back and have it in the truck for delivery GIRST THING the next morning. I took the day off, was here by 7:30. Around 9:30 They called and said since ours was on the truck, they put it in another truck with deliveries and it was the first on the truck...."in the front, so it'd be around 4-5 when ours was delivered". So, just before 6, they come pulling in. Had the furniture, I showed them where it was going. They brought most of it in, THEN SAID...."the 2 nightstands are busted up from moving them and the dresser mirror is broken. Do you still want us to bring it in?" I told them NO! I marked the bill accordingly, signed it and they told me they'd get more night stands and mirror at the warehouse, but probably would be two days. I told them "fine, we'd be here." They were on their way. They called (3) THREE days later to tell us it'd have to be order and it'd be 18-24 days. Sure enough, on day 22, they called and said they had it. They gave me a window of time and actually got here during those hours. They brought the night stands in, and told me it was strange, one, they could have 1 person carry it almost, that it was so lite. But the other one was so heavy, it took both of them to move it. It's all they could do to lift it. I asked if they'd looked in it to see if it had something inside. He said they'd searched everywhere and there was NOTHING different. They brought it in and STRUGGLED to get it up rhere. Sure enough, it was all they could do to move it. Then the dresser and mirror cake in, mounted it, and they were gone. That evening, we started looking at what might be different and why it was so heavy, on the bottom, we found a 4" thick slab of concrete that COMPLETELY covered the bottom up nest. 3' wide, 2 1/2' deep and 4 " thick. We got it unBOLTED and could barely move it to get it outside. I Called and inquired if it were balance to keep from tipping over or should they both have one, or only for shipping and neither should have it. They had NO IDEA what I was talking about. Contacted the warehouse and the were unaware that any of it had concrete. Not only that, but we got the Ashley bed that inclines upward and flat. I Do Not Recommend - Very Poor Customer Care/Service Original Post - Getting my Leather Sofa set has been a nightmare. 1st delivery damaged and they had the audacity to say would send someone to repair. OH NO YOU WON'T!! 2nd set we looked at on the truck before bringing inside it also was damaged so did not accept. Driver indicates they will VIP (closely inspect) before next delivery. 3rd fiasco, get a call indicating the origonal set I ordered has been discontinued and I need to come in and select something else. At this point I call Corporate to express my frustration and the lack of good customer service. Spoke to someone who indicated I'd get a call back and that has NOT happened. I go in anyway pick a comparable set in price and I have to pay a small $$$ difference...REALLY??!!! 4th fiasco they deliver this new set which is NOT the color I ordered, so did not accept. NO WORD FROM ASHLEY. CORPORATE, but constant calls/text about delivering my furniture. Does Customer Care/Satisfaction exist at Ashley's? Attempting to escalate higher. Dissatisfied Customer!!! 10/31/18 - We receive a call at 6:30am EDT asking us to verify our address...REALLY???!!!*** They have been here 5 times already! How unprofessional to call at this hour!!!:-( I'm really angry now. 11/1/18 - I go into Kennesaw store because, I'm tired of calling to escalate and NO ONE...CARES!!! My goal was to speak to the Store Manager, how she was at lunch so they gave me the Office Manager. I explain all that has occurred and she says "we're schedule to delivery tomorrow"....REALLY??? Big FIASCO: 6th one, the now new leather set is in stocked & delivered on today..Right color (brown), but flaws/tears at seams, so I refuse to accept. My husband and I went to get a new sectional sofa from Ashley Furniture in Kennesaw after leaving Rooms to Go very displeased with their service. I had a much better time at Ashley. We were helped by Anthony, who was very nice but not too pushy. I really felt like he listened to what I was looking for. The manager who rang us up was very sweet and helpful. She explained everything about the delivery and answered any questions that I had. When the furniture was delivered the guys who delivered it were very professional and right on time. It only took 5 days!! And it's beautiful. We couldn't be happier. Perhaps, they've gotten new employees, based on what I've read on their past reviews. My sales person was Mr. Holt, who's attitude was no better than his hygiene. His breath wanted me to offer him more than one tic tac. This company is an absolute joke. DO NOT GOT TO ASHLEY. When I ordered my furniture I was told it would be 6 weeks until delivery and I agreed with that. Six week mark came up and I received an automated call giving me a delivery date but no time. Took off work that day and nobody ever called with the time. Called the customer service number literally 30 times before someone answered and was told it was on hold and nobody knew why. Was told someone would call back. Nobody did. Called the store 15 times and no answer. When I finally got someone there they said they didn't deliver to my area but once a month. Told them I just pick it up from warehouse. Store employee stated it would be ready the following week. Waited until the weekend and called and they said it wasn't there. Called the store and spoke to manager who was no help and said they would call me back. Suprise, she didn't. Called back today to find out that my furniture was "discontinued". So here I am, 8 weeks since I ordered my furniture with no couch since I sold my old couch the day before the new was "being delivered". Absolutely do not go to Ashley for anything at all. We went to Ashley Home store in Kennesaw, Ga. on a Saturday and we were instantly greeted by Chantel Hampton. We told her what we were looking for and she showed us around giving us detailed info about each piece she showed us. She was so helpful and upbeat and most importantly patient! We had our 5 month old and our 3 year old with us. (Who hadn't napped all day) Our 3 year old loves to test limits and run away saying chase me! We had to recruit several employees to help. Ha! Everyone was so nice and we weren't made to feel as if we needed to leave because our kid was being three! Chantel was also so helpful and patient with mine and my husbands extreamly different tastes in furniture. We kept her busy that is for sure, she probably went through 3 pricing sheets. (Sorry!!) Chantel never once made us feel as if we were being difficult or we were bothering her with our constant questions and changes. We really appreciate her outstanding customer service! Even my husband said as soon as we finally left after being there all day that she was so nice, and he couldn't have done what she did. That's says a lot because he is a tough cookie! We will be returning to Ashley to pick out more furniture with Chantel, without our threenager this time. Thanks again! read more

I was looking for a sturdy large recliner for my Dad for his birthday. I went to five different stores all next to each other and Ashley was the last stop. Justin greeted us at the door, gave us some space and then checked on us again a little later. It was perfect, not too pushy but also not too distant. He was very helpful, polite, and personable. We found the perfect chair and the perfect salesman. He gets my highest rating and when I go looking for furniture again I will go see him first. read more
