One of the major selling points--something I specifically remember being told--was that it came with a lifetime warranty. That promise gave me confidence that I was investing in a durable, long-term piece of furniture from a reputable brand. The table sat in my dining room near a window. Over time, exposure to normal sunlight and heat from the window caused the surface of the table to melt and warp. Let me be clear: this was advertised as a solid metal table. A properly constructed metal dining table should not melt or deform from ordinary indoor sun exposure. This wasn't placed outdoors or subjected to extreme conditions--just normal residential sunlight through a window. For a product at this price point, that kind of failure is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the materials and craftsmanship. When I called to request a warranty repair, I was shocked to learn that the company is now under new ownership and that they no longer honor the lifetime warranty that was promised at the time of purchase. From a customer's perspective, that feels like a complete abandonment of responsibility. A warranty is part of the value proposition of the purchase. It directly influenced my decision to buy. To now say that the guarantee no longer applies because of a change in ownership is incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unfair. And here's the kicker: the exact same table is still being sold on their website. They are continuing to profit from the product while refusing to stand behind past promises made to customers who already invested in it. That makes the situation even more disappointing. If the product is good enough to keep selling, it should be good enough to support--especially when customers were explicitly promised lifetime coverage. Between the product failing under normal conditions, the refusal to honor the warranty, and the fact that the table is still actively being marketed and sold, this has been an extremely negative experience. I expected quality, durability, and integrity. Instead, I'm left with a damaged table and a broken promise. I would strongly caution potential buyers to think carefully before relying on warranty assurances, particularly for high-end furniture purchases.

The sales person assured us that their touch up guy is "the best in the business" and that when they deliver the piece it will be fully touched up and look brand new! However, this promise was certainly not kept. As far as delivery goes, the company first said they would be there on Monday, so my wife and I planned our night around them coming and then they called and canceled. They rescheduled for Tuesday. The next day rolls around and the same thing happens...they call an hour AFTER the scheduled delivery time to say they will not be there until the next day. So now, our third delivery attempt comes around and they FINALLY made it three hours LATER than scheduled. Not only did the piece show up with the exact same blemishes, but apparently it got a couple new ones while in transit. Then, to top it all off, one the the knobs had completely fallen off and the delivery guys had to go find it rolling around in the truck. They handed me the knob and said I "can probably find a way to reattach it by going to Home Depot." I was very impressed with the in-store experience, but have been incredibly disappointed in their follow through and delivery. Highly doubtful that I ever shop here again.

We needed a new mattress last year so we went to Sleep Outfitters. We were greeted right away and…read morethe staff was very friendly. We were concerned about getting a mattress that would be comfortable because I have a lot of back and hip pain. We were assured that we could purchase a mattress, try it out and return it for a REFUND if it didnt work out. We ended up purchasing a mattress for over 3k. After a week I hurt so bad I could hardly walk. We contacted the store and they tried to tell us that we had to sleep on it for 30 days before they could do anything. We asked how we could get around that and they did call and get it approved for us to return it before then. We went back in to try to find another mattress and were told that we could not get a refund, they only offer store credit towards another mattress. Even though they told us we could get a refund when we purchased the mattress, suddenly it was changed to only credit. We were also told that we would have to keep the next mattress we exchanged it for with no option to return if it didnt work. Since the other mattresses were at least 1k more than what we already paid, we ended up stuck with a 5k mattress that is horrible. We would never have purchased from Sleep Outfitters in the first place if we had known the only option was store credit if we didnt like the mattress. The salesmen are friendly, but lie to you to get you to feel comfortable making such a huge purchase thinking you can get your money back if it doesnt work out. Would never shop here again. We've been stuck with a mattress that causes horrible pain to my back and hips because we unfortunately trusted the word of the salesmen and the manager, Jay, instead of reading the fine print. Buyer beware!
