Customer service is terrible. We have moved all over this country and have used Ashley several times. It took us six months to get our leather furniture delivered. Finally delivered and we have moved into our home. We have been sitting on our real leather almond couches for two weeks. Everywhere that we sit the couch has turned orange with blotches. Reached out to Ashley's and they claim leather turning from almond to orange is normal wear and tear after two weeks. Will never shop Ashley's again, will never spend $6000 on a real leather product if it turns orange. I have had other off white leather couches that never turned a different color. They do not stand by their products. It is a shame because they used to be great. I have to give one star but would rather give nothing. read more

I have been an Ashley customer in Arizona for years. I bought a retirement home in Laguna Vista and decided to visit this store to refurnish my new house. What a complete mistake! I purchased over $6K of product two months in advance and scheduled a delivery for December 30, 2024. The company completely "No Showed"! When I tried to call the company, I got an AI robot that was of no help whatsoever. The store doesn't answer unless you want to order more product. When I did get through, the assistant manager was kind but completely incapable of fixing the issue. I will try to reschedule a delivery. If not - I'll push for a total refund. We worked with Joel Rodriguez a week ago and had a great experience. Joel was very professional, understood our needs and we purchased 4 items in under 30 minutes. One of the item was later determined to be not in the warehouse, so we picked an alternative item to get our house all finished with one delivery. The delivery happened and was good. However, when we opened the drawers on the substituted item, 3 of the 6 drawers were defective. We are dealing with the customer service team and after 20 texts and dealing with people that really don't understand or care about customer service. Nobody to call...nobody who care..and really frustrating. These things happen, but the longer the longer the more you never want to do business with them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them. Again, I send a complaint, they answer but nothing is resolved, nothing happens and the story continues as follows: February 5, 2023, after few calls with the corporate representative, we agree on a new delivery day set for February 4, 2023, as they state on the BBB process, we wait all day for the delivery and receive a call on Feb, 6 ,2023 to reschedule again they, state we do not confirm the delivery which is poste on text messages as prove, and posted as schedule delivery by the management representative as resolution of the case, again they do not provide the promises services and they just work gaining time until the companies were we a posting complains and are working with us close the cases. I would like to have a full cancelation of the purchase and pickup of the chairs, as there is no way to keep all this traveling to the store and long times with the customer service agents. The products delivered are damaged, and there is no way to go for months with this issue between one department to other and one agent to other. read more

ASHLEY FURNITURE, BROWNSVILLE TX RVers and other people who have money and sit on couches: Please do not spend money with this organization ever. We are full-time RV'ers. After much searching for a couch, we found the one we wanted at Ashley in Brownsville, Tx. We ensured the backs of the couch detached so it would be able to be brought through the door of our Fuzion. I won't even go through the trouble we had trying to pay cash rather than financing but after waiting 4 weeks for delivery, when it got here, the backs did not detach...will not go through the door. Refused delivery and told to go to the store to find out next steps. Got to the store and checked the floor model and confirmed the back detached and the numbers were the same. No managers were there to speak with...so a helpful sales rep told us she would file a ticket with customer care. They would call us within 24 hours. They did not. I called customer care and spoke to a representative who had no f$$$'s to give and told us to go back to the store to resolve. We called instead. Spoke to Terry at the store, who was very empathetic but again, there again were no managers in the building. She assured us she would get to the bottom of the problem and call back in 30 minutes. This was at 11 AM. By 4:15 PM, Terry still hasn't called back. We go back to-the store. They are willing to do nothing but order a new one. I explain we don't have 4 weeks to wait because (1) we are leaving the area (2) we now have no couch because just before the couch wrong was delivered, we got rid of our other one. By this time I'm in tears or close to it and I tell my husband let's just get a refund. They are happy to do that but will take 7 to 10 business days for the money to be back on my card. WHAT? I paid cash???? Never mind that we had to pay in full upfront...they will take their time returning it. We even offered to take the floor model! Nope...no can do. So here we sit in our RV, with no couch and no money for 7 to 10 days. Please save yourself the stress, the trouble and the aggravation and do not do business with this crappy, poor customer service, excuse giving organization that has no empathy or compassion for their customers when they have created the problem. read more

the absolute worst experienc! management is horrible! I had the most stressful experience at the this store! I received the wrong color chairs which was an error on the stores side. They asked me to call customer care to resolve issue so I did. Customer care informed me that management would have to note it was a sales error in order for the exchange to happen. I informed the sales rep of this and she said management had to review it. I called customer care again and they tried contacting management which was impossible for them as well as for myself. I called the sales rep because no one had the curtesy to let me know what the status was. And she did not even answer or respond when I called her again to see what was happening. Customer care advised me to go in person to speak to the manager. I had to go in person and manager analisa Flores flat out said no I was not going to be able to get the color I ordered. She sent another manager named Claudia who was absolutely horrible! She did not even bother to look into it to see how and why this happened as a manager should. She just said no we can't do it and was extremely unprofessional. I called customer care back while at the store since management and sales rep refused to resolve an issue they created. Finally after the customer care rep that I had to call spoke with the sales rep told her it was a store error for ordering an item that was not available anymore. She said the rep needed to tell the manager this was not the customer's fault which I already had told them. So after 3 days and half my Saturday at the store it got resolved thanks to customer care! It got resolved because as customer care stated to the sales rep this was a sales error and the stores error not mine! This was a simple issue that could have simply been resolved. As a manager she should have because it could have Eliminated losing a customer and making the customer go through this. The managers Claudia and Flores did not even apologize or acknowledge the error and her putting me through this! Absolutely worst experience I have ever had doing business with anyone. Even the customer care reps were shocked with how unprofessional this store manager was and the sales rep for not helping correct this issue. I wish I could leave a good review but I will warn anyone who does business with this store. I would not recommend and will never do business here again. So disappointed! read more

Ashley's furniture ruined my credit score. I got charged a late fee for furniture I never even received. Don't ask for Teddy as he assured me I wouldn't pay a dime until I received my furniture. I placed my order back in July during the 4th of July sale. Originally he said it would take 3 weeks to receive my furniture which I was hesitant since I needed a couch ASAP. Then once I signed he sprung the "oh sorry sir its actually going to take 2 months" bomb on me. I said ok fine. Its been more than 3 months and still nothing. I understand the pandemic is going on but whats not acceptable is Teddy not returning any of my calls or texts. Especially after he gave me his business card and personal cell phone number.. Then I find out my order is not set to arrive till October 22nd. Thats 5 months total and don't even get me started on the cancelation process. What a mess! If I could give a rating less than one star I would. My elderly parents purchased a bed from this location back on May 29th and we have yet to receive the bed. WE needed the bed asap due to my father's condition and need to be propped up, but we were told it would be there today and nothing. I called to confirm it would be delivered today and to my surprise no delivery date was yet scheduled, it said my order was ready and I could schedule a delivery date now further out, of course. Yet my mother received a phone call stating that it would be pushed out till today and here were are with no actual date ever set. When we purchased this bed we were told the delivery date was set and we were not informed we had to contact them to set it up, on the other hand we were told it was all set up and ready. I have called three phone numbers and no one even cares about the situation, no attempt to make things move along faster or anything. The sales rep seems to care but apparently, he isn't able to do anything. Well then who is? Who will do all in their power to make a customer happy, no one at this store, that is for sure. Please do not shop here, they are easy and fast to take your money but after that they just wash their hands and don't worry about any customer service after that, I mean they do already have all your money, why would they? Do not do business here. It's a nightmare. We ordered our a full bed, sofa sleeper and recliner on May 11th. After being patient enough we have decided to cancel our complete order for the reasons listed below: 1) Our order was scheduled for delivery a month away which we agreed on. Once the date was set to deliver we got a call to only extend our delivery date because the rails to bed were not in stock. 2) We went ahead and rescheduled a few weeks later (their earliest available) on the day of delivery got a call stating the Ashleys delivery guy and truck "got struck by lightning" and will call me back to inform me if they will be sending a backup driver. (never got a call back i had to call the following day myself). 3) Rescheduled for a THIRD time (for weeks later of course) the day before they called and emailed me to confirm delivery which included ALL my items. Finally, the day OF delivery... they ONLY showed up with bed (not everything else that was confirmed). Turns out the bed was damaged and they had to take it back and would reschedule me again for bed, sofa and recliner. We have now left several messages at the 800# and pablo kisel number for (Ana) to confirm cancellation of our entire order and HAVE not been contacted yet. I've been calling over and over with no luck to get thru. Please DO NOT spend your hard earned money here. Not worth the hassle. This was our very FIRST purchase here and we will NEVER again be back and will def NEVER recommend this company to anyone. read more

I would give this business less than one star if I could. Buyer beware. Do not waste your time here. My order was incorrect on the first delivery. A king size headboard was delivered instead of a queen size. A mirror was delivered that had been cancelled two hours after placing the order. The delivery service is outsourced and the store has no control after the order is placed. After four attempts and 35 five days after the order was placed I finally got the headboard that was ordered. Then I had to go through my credit card company to get the credit that was owed due to the screw ups. I spoke to the store manager and he said that they get a lot of complaints because of the way the deliveries are structured. He recommended that I either contact Better Business Bureau or the local TV station to file a complaint. He said that his corporate office is aware of the numerous complaints but will not do anything. You cannot call the store directly. You are routed through a regional switchboard. A minimum of one half hour to speak to anyone. Then they apologize but have no remedy. I filed a complaint via e-mail to the corporate office and had no response. Customer service is nonexistent. When my husband and I originally went in to shop around our experience was great, but since I've placed my order its all been a HORRIBLE experience since. The delivery dates are always wrong its so hard to get ahold of a representative, I was finally (2 months later) supposed to recieve my completed order I confirmed the delivery with their automated texts they send and today I received NOTHING. I have called and no one knows whats going on all they tell me is someone inside the store canceled my delivery yet I was never notified?! I wish i would of gone with a different furniture company I wish i could just cancel everything and return it all at this point! Worst customer service ever. Do yourself a favor and don't even go into this store. We placed an order for delivery in two days. When it came, it was the wrong furniture, so we sent it back on the truck. We called the store and they said that they couldn't get the furniture we had ordered for a month, and, they were unwilling to work with us to find any solution. Now, more than 3 weeks after cancelling our order, they have not yet provided a refund even though they have told me multiple times that they have sent the refund in. They are untruthful, unpleasant, and lack any idea of how to treat customers. This franchisee owns stores throughout South Texas. Ashley HomeStore Order placed 22 May 2020 With very explicate instruction not to delivery until all items are available, no partial delivery as this is Condo that we rent out Order:2124371724:0609 June 6th - Receive text message that delivery is scheduled for June 9th With a note that we must move all furniture out of the rooms prior to delivery. As this is a Condo in South Texas, we drove 7 hours so that we could make the arrangements and move everything. No storage but we gave it away June 9th - Delivery arrived on time. Paperwork shows all ordered items are on the truck. All the major items were put together we were then told a few items are missing? Also told us to call customer service. Had we known we would not have accepted delivery nor disposed of all of our furniture. We called the sales lady that worked with us and told her. She said the manager would call us shortly. Waited four hours and called the store. No answer from any of the extensions. Called customer Service on hold for over two hours. June 10th - Drive to store. Ask to speak with Manager - Told him what happened. He said "Nothing I Can do" I then said ok I guess I should call my credit card company and cancel the payment. He said "Yes you should" Now on Hold for 2 hours with Corporate customer service. Finally, after two hours was able to speak with someone. After about a 45 minutes conversation we were told sorry, nothing they can do. No compensation, no discount no nothing! So, we are at our Condo in South Padre Island and cannot rent out our Unit. so we went in to purchase my son his first bedroom set and the salesman we got was awesome. he helped us get a great deal on the furniture my son liked. We purchased a floor model that I was told was available to take with us. I walked in with an Ashley furniture credit card in hand and ready to make the purchase happen. We signed all the necessary paperwork and we are ready to load up and head home. Well apparently the manager send the salesman to tell me I cant take the furniture just yet because the bank hasn't approved the purchase yet so I have to wait till tomorrow to see If they will approve the order an they will call me. Well come morning I'm skeptical because the salesman already told the manager that he was gonna help me load up the furniture since the warehouse guys were gone already and She started laughing and said well Good luck with that. Why say that when apparently the bank hasn't approved the order yet. I call the issuer of the Ashley credit card the following morning and I'm told by them that they had already APPROVED the order the moment it was uploaded in the system which was last night when I was in the store. The bank already has all my information needed to finance the order and it had already credited my account. So what it looks like to me is that the manager simply didn't want to get up from behind the desk and take care of the customer. read more

I have texted and called constantly and this store manager only keeps telling me that they will get it fixed later and the later hasn't come. I went and purchased two love seats on March 21, 2019 with a delivery date of April 20, 2019. Several days before the delivery date I got a phone call from the manufacturer that the sofas I purchased were not going to be available until May or June! They are selling an item that they don't have! I have spoken to several people at corporate office and they say it's out of their control. They cannot give me a date as to when my items will be delivered! I will never buy anything from this store again! UPDATE!!!!! I was contacted by Ashley furniture and all they did was tell me that my order could not be filled within the promised date! They are now moving the date to May 14,2019! Almost 4 weeks later than the promised date! As of today May 17, I still have not received any sofas! The delivery date has now been moved to May 30! The customer care department said there's nothing they can do. It's because of the manufactures. I called the store and spoke to Anna, she said she would look into it and call me back. I am still waiting for the phone call! I called the store this morning and no one is answering! They have transferred me until the phone hangs up! WORST SERVICE EVER! UPDATED.. May 21, I was contacted this afternoon by customer service and now they want to cancel my order over the phone when initially I was told I had to drive 60 miles to the store! I ordered 2 sets of bunk beds on June 6th for delivery on July 23rd. I received a call a few days before the 23rd saying the beds would not be available until August 14th. I took off work on the 14th and the service techs arrived as scheduled. However, they soon discovered that there was a problem with the legs for the top bunk in both bed sets (different models). The service techs called in to let customer service know what the problem was. I talked to the customer service man twice within 15 mins and was told both times that the parts would arrive within 24-48 hrs and the service techs would come back on Saturday to finish setup. So it is Saturday and I called to see what time the service techs would be arriving, only to be told by the corporate office that the parts should arrive in 2WEEKS and then the service techs would be scheduled to come out. I asked how I could cancel this order as this was unacceptable. I was told I needed to cancel the order with the store where I made the purchase. I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty as the store manager was not working. I explained the situation and told him I wanted to cancel the order but I would not pay the cancellation fee as this whole scenario was the fault of Ashley Homestore. He responded that only the corporate office could approve not paying the cancellation fee. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!! And it isn't over yet . Walked in ready to order a new sleeper sectional. Found a model I liked and was ready to order. Once I had the amount it would cost and had it verified that my Acceptance Now had the credit limit to cover it and they tell me because of my standing that I qualified to have my first scheduled payment extended by a month, which for us was perfect due to timing of a lot of moving costs we already had. Once papers for Ashley furniture were signed Acceptance Now came to us stating that they didn't know what was going on but that the extended first payment couldn't happen and they couldn't figure out why. When we wanted to tell the sales person that we wanted to wait to order he couldn't be found with the signed paperwork he had already collected from us. So we decide f*** it why not and continue on to do the Acceptance Now paperwork and once we were done with that our sales person came back saying that our furniture delivery was going to be two weeks later than they had originally been told. We were disappointed but not mad, yet. After about two weeks we receive a call stating that our furniture would be further delayed and they didn't know why but we were about to already make a first payment on said couch so we were a bit concerned at this point. About a week later we receive yet another call saying it would be delayed AGAIN another two or three weeks. At that point we had already made a first payment and were about ready to pay the furniture off completely but at this point we were unnerved about it for the fact that we didn't know when or if were going to get our couch at that point and every time we reach out to the store 1. our sales person is never there, and 2. no one ever has an answer for me. And what really gets to me is when they say they will transfer me to someone who can help I hear a cackle and the line disconnects (that happened more than once). So now we have made a payment, and we don't know if we will get our furniture on the new "delivery day" or not. Oh and I forgot to mention that I did get a call asking if I wanted to receive half of my furniture on one day and the other half another day which I did decline. We only ordered one couch..one sectional couch...they offered to deliver HALF OF A SECTIONAL COUCH. How would I even have that in my home and explain that to our family and friends who come over...? If you can shop in McAllen I HIGHLY recommend that you do. I have had no issues over there, my only problem was with this location. Avoid if possible. I will say the Acceptance Now people have been very helpful and understanding of the situation and wish they could help but have their hands tied due to the lack of knowledge Ashley Furniture has to anything that is going on. read more

Purchased a living room set in May. After 3 attempted deliveries, the set was delivered with a broken frame on the large couch and the love seat leg is misaligned. It appears the couch was dropped as several days later I discovered a large hole was punched in the cloth that covers the bottom of the couch. I guess that aided the individual in picking up the "dropped" couch. After many calls, a representative from the company was kind enough to let me know they would order new furniture rather than having my "new" furniture repaired which would take over a month. The new furniture was to have been delivered 6/28/17. I have received a call the delivery has been cancelled and I must reschedule again. I called the Manager, Eric asking for help in this matter. I have paid for new furniture, it is going on 3 months of run around. Eric has not responded and it's been 3 days. So............. now delivery is set for July 8. Lets see if they show up and what the new couches look like. I do not recommend this place of business. I have never experienced such poor quality or service from a business. read more

To start, when my living room set was delivered, the delivery people should take the the trash. After they left, I went to put trash in the trash can outside and noticed that it was completely full of the plastic that the furniture was wrapped with. I also bought an area rug and they have not been able to tell when I will receive it. Makes me feel like if I have been robbed after almost a month of waiting. They delivered on a Friday and was out for most of the weekend. On Monday my family were going to watch tv. This was the first time that all the sitting area of the living room set were going to be used. I sat in the middle part of the sofa and as soon as I sat, it broke. I went down. I checked it out and the flimsy piece of wood that holds the springs in place broke. I tooked pictures called customer service and they scheduled to come and see it in more than a month from today. I went back to the store and told me to send and email with the pictures and haven't heard from them. I am extremely handy and know about carpentry and everything else, and I can tell you that the furniture is very poorly built. Having two 1"x2" pieces of wood having to carry the weight of people sitting on the furniture is just not right. read more
