My husband and I went to the Ashley Home Store in Cookeville, TN to look at items we viewed on Ashley's web site. As soon as we entered the store we were greeted by an employee who I explained to why we were there. He quickly took the information I brought with me to locate the items we wanted to see and then proceeded to show them to us. there was never any sales tactics to get us to purchase something more pricier or to sell us something more than what we wanted. He did point out the quality of what we were looking at and fabric options. Overall we were very pleased with our experience in the store and with the employees we dealt with. I would recommend shopping at Ashley's to all my friends and anyone that's looking to purchase furniture. One down side was that we had to wait a week before the items could be delivered. After asking around that seems to be the norm for most of the local furniture stores. I was pleasantly surprised that the day it was delivered everything went just as we were told. We were called and told about the 3 hour window that it would arrive. It arrived at the top of the 3 hour window. Everything was set up and put into place. Again there was communication after it was set up that we were happy and it was what we wanted. I can't say enough about our experience with Ashley. We are very happy with our experience and will return to the Cookeville store the next time we have any furniture needs. read more

Visited all/most of the furniture stores in town - window shopping for our new home. Was impressed with the selection at the Cookeville Ashley HomeStore and with the helpful but not "hovering" sales people. Camilla was discreetly available, took time to know what I needed to be comfortable, measured pieces, answered questions, made notes for me etc. She gave me good information to help me feel at home here as I am new to Cookeville. She made me comfortable enough to share my email address with her and she let me know about upcoming "Sale Days". I went back with my husband and we purchased Dining Room Furniture which we LOVE! - Got the "no interest for 1yr" deal (why not have someone else's $ work for us right?). The whole transaction was timely & efficient. Everyone we dealt with treated us with real care and concern. The men who delivered the furniture were polite, respectful and attentive to detail. We recently purchased dining room furniture from Ashley in Cookeville. Sales staff were very friendly and not overbearing. From my initial phone call to Ashley, during which I talked with Alyssa, I was treated well. I originally found furniture on Ashley's website which I wanted to view in person, so I called the Cookeville store to see if they had it in stock. I spoke with Alyssa, who was very pleasant, and acted as if she were genuinely happy to help me, which in my opinion is rare these days. Although they did not have the furniture in stock that I had located on their website, Alyssa went an extra step and directed me to look at another set on their website that was very similar in design and coloring and one that they did have in their showroom. We made the drive to Cookeville to take a look and loved the furniture. Alyssa and her manager did a great job working out a deal with us, and we are now enjoying our beautiful new furniture! After Brenda provided me with the needed information, my husband and I decided we would visit the Ashley Home Store in Cookeville Tennessee. Brenda happened to be working on this particular day, and remembered me from our conversation a week earlier. She was very helpful, as were Daniel and David. They took care of all of our shopping needs without being pushy, and made the furniture buying experience a very pleasant one. Me and my wife just moved to Tennessee 3 weeks ago from long island ny . Both of us just recently retired bought a home getting ready for chapter 2 of our lives. It was like landing on the moon didn't know anyone or the lay of the land ,having to almost start from scratch we began to build our new home and life together. Guys disregard everything XBROKER I says- he is a liar. He hated women. He once called a girl at my work a cunt and tried to lunge over the counter at her. A gentleman she worked with saved her thankfully. Genuinely she was maybe 100 lbs soaking wet and as yall know he is 500 lbs, and terrifying. Recently my mother and I went looking at things for my new home. We've had our eye on a large mirror with an atlas decal. After walking around, we ending up (by chance) speaking with the store manager who gave us a great deal on the mirror. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It took us less than a couple of minutes to finish up paperwork. We also didn't have a way to get it home that day so they held it for us for a week until my father could come by with his truck. We went in to buy nightstands for my nephew's first apartment and Mary Helen walked us around the store and then went online so we could find the right piece at the right price. She was fabulous.
