I purchased a bedroom set in mid February. Got an email on 2/20 and again on 3/5 stating I needed to be home on 3/8 for delivery. All seemed well, but no one came, when I called the representative stated those two emails were automated and that no delivery date has been set. I stayed home all day waiting, and had gotten no other emails. Very poor communication and customer service - STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY! I used to buy all my furniture from Ashley's in Green Valley until the Terrible Treatment I received from the store's Manager regarding property damage I received by their delivery truck. My roll gate to my property was bulldozed by their delivery people and never did I receive compensation or even apology. It was $1200 repair to my gate. When I went to the store to speak with the manager, he cursed me out and told me to F____n stop coming over here. He said their insurance company might handle it. It's been going on 2 yrs now. We called to find out where our delivery was at and you didn't have us on the schedule and multiple attempts were made to speak with the store manager. I purchased a protection plan & my recliner stopped reclining & it took 3 weeks for someone to come over & check it out. I had told them in advance that the handle was broken, but the guy shows up w/only one handle & it was the wrong size. That was Friday & today is Wednesday & I had to call them, only to be told that it would be 4-6 weeks until the part is delivered to me AND then I have to call & make a service call & wait for someone to remedy the problem - UNacceptable! read more

Worse Ashley store I've ever shopped at. I order $7,000 worth of items and three of the items were on back order but how told they would be in the first week of March. The first week of March turned to mid March, then early April then mid April until June when we finally received it. Then after receiving it, they left all three boxes of furniture on my bedroom floor even though we had set up included in the delivery. When they sent a new delivery guy a few days later both nightstands are damaged and need to be replaced. So after taking with customer service they say they will order me two replacements, I call back a week later and they don't have a record of it but see it in the "notes" and now it's almost July and they tell me they will put in an order through customer service because there is no order in for it. I spent over an hour in this store and picked out some furniture to purchase. I asked the sales person, Susana Miller, about a sofa chaise and told her i wanted a sofa bed. She said that this particular sofa was a sofa bed. I went to raise the cushion to see the mattress and she said it wasn't there right now. I went back to that item a couple of times and lifted the chaise cushion to see how it could be a sofa bed. I purchased the items based on what Susana told me. The next day, I saw that same item in another store and realized there was no way it was a sofa bed. Now I though either Susana did not know her products or she was out right lying to me about it. 44 hours after I made this purchase, I tried calling the actual store three times and no one answered, just got a recording stating they were busy. Not a smart business practice. I called the customer service number for Ashley and spoke to a woman who tried to sell me something else. I told her NO, I wanted to cancel my order and I wanted my money back. Finally she said she cancelled the order and it would take 48-72 hours to see a refund. When this CS woman tried to call the store, she had no luck with anyone answering the phones. Finally after chatting with 4 different people and getting 2 case numbers and being told different things by different people and putting in a dispute with my credit card company, I received a refund on March 16, 2024. Worst customer service and bad quality for high prices. Had a delivery and half the stuff was damaged, they rescheduled me for 6 days out to redeliver my order and they never showed up. I called and the mzanager cancelled my delivery due to items being broken again and they never notified me of the change. Now I decided to cancel the complete order and they scheduled me a week out, yet again they now changed the pick up date saying i was never scheduled for the 11th even though i have the txt message and confirmed it over link message and called in confirmed as well. read more

I bought a sectional sofa from this place in October. The worst buying experience of my life. I paid over $3000 for the sofa including warranty. It's now August nearly a year later! They have been out 4 times to try and fix this. The sofa had stains on it that appeared about a week after it was delivered. They sent someone out who restuffed the cushions and took pictures. 3 more times the exact same thing. The stains are still there. I just called to see when this will be resolved and they said they have not received any pictures and the claim is closed! I will not purchase anything from these crooks again and I suggest nobody else does either. I bought over $3,000 worth of furniture and from the first delivery it's been a nightmare. They were 4+ hours late on the first delivery making it around 9:30pm which was ridiculous. Then they were missing hardware, entire pieces, they admitted to damaging one of our pieces earlier and also they damaged one on the way in which we discovered later. 2nd delivery came that was supposed to have a replacement for the damaged piece above plus a chair which was the main thing we were wanting. There was no chair. Somebody in their office accidentally cancelled it. So we had to have yet ANOTHER delivery for that. We were so disappointed we ended up not accepting and/or returning over $1,000 of the order within 48 hours of the first delivery and now they forgot to file the paperwork for the refund so it's going to take a month to a month and a half total to receive a refund for furniture I never even fully received. They refuse to even offer me a bit of compensation. Please save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere... it's not worth it unless maybe you take the piece that day yourself. As for me and my family... we will never set foot in an Ashley's or Sam Levitz again. read more

This is one of the worst experience we've had. First off, we moved from CA to AZ and ordered furniture to be delivered in June - a month before the move. Ashley ENSURED that we would have everything delivered the day we moved in. Movers showed up and we're missing furniture. Called the location and customer service was TERRIBLE. Got hung up on several times. Finally got someone to speak to and they told me my $1300+ entertainment center was on back order till SEPTEMBER. Went in store to get a refund/exchange for something in stock since I needed furniture ASAP. After being there for quite some time, finally found furniture to pick up next day. Well, it's next day and guess what's broken! Right out of the box, chipped & broken. This is ridiculous. Never buying Ashley furniture again. Low grade quality for high grade price! Take your money elsewhere to avoid the headache. I should have read the reviews before makimg a purchase at this store. I have been waiting all day for my furniture and the email that was sent gave me an estimated time of 12 to 4pm. It is now 630pm and the projected time is now 800pm. I called to ask why the long wait and was told that the particular truck is running late. I explained I've been here all and I have things to do, and that is when she suggested if I should reschedule. Why would I want to reschedule when I've been here all day doing nothing? Very displeased and disappointed with this service. The customer service is a joke, and this place is ran by Sam levitz. I had no idea it was run by such a cheap and low quality business. We were not able to get an end table from a Sam Levitz store because supposedly that piece was no longer being made. Went to the Green Valley Ashley Furniture store and Ramon was very helpful. Searched his inventory and we placed our order. Were told it would take approximately a month; no problem. Month comes and goes, no one calls. We call store, told it's at the store. Go in to pick up and told it is not there. Said they would place a rush on the order to be brought in from another store where it was sitting. Again, never received a call from Ashley informing us that our end table had arrived. We called again a few days later and told it was there!!! It appears that these stores have no problem taking your money but Customer Service is Non-Existent! I bought three items at the Ashley Furniture in Sahuarita on 2/27/16 with a delivery date of 3/10/16. On 3/8/16 they called and said one item was not in and changed the date to 3/11/16. When they did not show on 3/11/16 I called and found out that the Ashley store is really Sam Levitz and the missing items were not even expected until mid to late March. If I was told this when i placed the order I would have shopped someplace else. I guess that is why they didn't tell me. Never again. read more

I do like the most of the furniture here at Ashley's in Green Valley but I want to pay the Sam Levitz prices which is hundreds of dollars cheaper but it's the same furniture. It's scamming customers when I come into Ashley's but get my furniture in Tucson at Sam Levitz and you see the same living room set on there show room floor for $400 cheaper but it's absolutely the same couch they just make you pay more in Green Valley & call is Ashley's. When you go to buy your product in Green Valley look at the sign on the wall... the small one hidden by pictures. It's a Sam Levitz store. By far the worst experience I have ever had with any furniture place. We bought a sectional couch two years ago, along with their warranty. For two years, nothing but headaches and problems. One section of the couch has never been properly hooked in, so it's always slanted, and I can't even count how many times we have had people come out to realign and hook up that section of the couch. Then two months ago, one of my kids' sits down, and a section of the couch completely caved in. All the wood just broke! She didn't jump or forcefully sit, it just caved in under a small kid. So once again, we had someone come out, and they fixed one side of the section (the one that is always slanting), but not the broken one. Oh, and the section is still slanting. The broken one they are taking out of our house to fix at the end of April, and bring back sometime in May. By the time everything is said and done, it will have been three dang months that it took these people to "fix" the broken section of the couch, and more than two years to "fix" a section that is always slanted. How in the world do you expect people to be happy with dropping thousands of dollars on furniture, paying extra for insurance, for something that doesn't last two years, and then being inconvenienced for months by it being broken because you can't do your job and fix it?! I will never buy from this place ever again, nor would I ever recommend anyone buy from here. read more

When walking into this furniture store it seemed a bit overwhelming due to having so many things to look at. However, my fiancee and I were lucky enough to get one of the best tour guides. Her name is Roberta, and she happens to be a very kind and helpful sales associate. She represented the company by not giving us sales pitches for high priced items, but instead listened to what we had to say and what we wanted. Throughout our time with Roberta she made sure that we felt comfortable with our purchases and that we were 100% satisfied. Although this seems like a review of Roberta, the satisfaction continued with their next day delivery of our furniture and believe it or not the delivery truck was early! The two gentlemen hopped out of the truck and expediently set up our furniture and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Went to Ashley not using my better judgment from past experiences, in need of a mattress, ordered, paid and promised delivery, not for another week, but ok i understand. On the day of delivery we were given a window 12-4 pm, at 3:23 we called, "Oh they will be there between 3:20 and 3:50."At 4:15 I called again spoke a Manager who assured me they were on there way, he would call the delivery guys and call me back. That never happened. I called back at4:45. And was on hold for over 20 minutes, they said the manager was on the phone with a customer. I purchased a couch for our new home. Noticed a spring popped out the bottom when it was assembled together. We reported it the next week and was told we had to be without a couch for 3 days. I was told that this was a factory defect, instead of providing us with a new couch I experienced rude costumer support and who is to say this would not happen again. Only because of the poor customer service after the sale that I have experienced in past. After upselling me on a mattress that has not lasted past the warranty, a tech came out with a piece of aluminum tubing and a bolt to determine the "use" and "wear" of it. Really? We got a very good deal on a queen set. However, the service at the store was very poor. They didn't seem to understand the deal that was in the advertisement. They kept trying to up-sell us on mattress at more than triple what we could get the same product at Macy's. When they delivered the mattress, they did not set up the bed and they didn't bring the frame. When we called about the missing frame, we were told that we would have to come to the store the next day and get it ourselves. There was no apology for the mistake. We purchased a couch some time ago and when installed it was placed too close to wall and unknowingly every time we reclined we scratched the wall and tore holes on the corners of each seat. When we moved the couch to paint my family room we noticed the damage. We were told no by Sam levitz and tried to deal with warranty people who told it was SL fault so they needed to pay. I gave up after going round and round. We decided it was time for a new couch and while deciding on a new one the sales rep at Ashley and I got talking about colors - he mentioned the warranty. I told him it was a crock of BS.... And he told me to wait a second. He came back with the manager who looked up my claim and since it was still open - went to bat for me. He got the warranty to cover the damage. Since the couch maker was no longer associated with Sam Levitz- I got a dollar per dollar credit to select the couch of my choice. The store is nice but the furniture is a bad quality just like with Sam levitz. What is really bad is the extended warranty. I have had them out twice the second was with protect all, Ashley's warranty company. They came out December 4 and said he had to order parts. It is now the beginning of feb I called a for status and i was first on hold for 45 minutes and when I did get a person she had me on hold for another 30 minutes before she could tell me anything . She said the tech didn't enter anything and will have it taken care of and the tech would call with update. it is now feb 24 and I finally was able to get into their website and of course I see my claim but I other information. I can't even send a request or email asking or complaining. Today I am on hold 45 minutes and when I get the customer service I get the same story and i pointed this out and she is now trying to get the service tech to find out what they are going to do, if she can get ahold of them. I informed her if this doesn't get resolved very soon they will be taking the chair back and credit me so I can go buy another. I bought my leather couch and had it delivered. I was going to be at work when it was going to be delivered so I had my Mom come over to let them in. So they show up and the couch gets dropped off and she signed for it, they did not give her the leather detail kit. When I went to the store to get the kit they had somebody fax over a copy of the signed work order showing that my Mother signed for the kit. I expanded that she signed for it but was never giving the kit. They just kept showing me the signed work order saying they will not give me another kit. So they tricked some old lady into signing for something then steeling it. After that while the couch was under warranty it ripped. I called the store and they said they would send me a repair kit for the couch, it never came. Beware of these people, the salespeople are rude, one grabbed my credit card right out of my hand without asking for permission. They are liars and thieves, watch the delivery drivers they will con you out of anything they can and the store has horrible customer service. read more

Purchased a dining room set May 29, 2019 but realized after a couple weeks that it was not working in our small space so I called to ask for an exchange. They flat out said no, we can't help you! I called again and spoke with a manager, still said same thing. Not only that, but the table finish is chipping off in several places on the table and all they want to say is put in a work order. I called Ashley Corporate and found out that the Tucson stores don't even fall under Ashley Corporate and they have their own policies. I spent over $1k on this set, had it less than 2 weeks and they won't help me in any way. Not cool Ashley Homestore! Now I'm going to lose money selling it outright. I wish I had known this store existed before making the horrible mistake of purchasing furniture through HomeGalleryStores.com!! We made the drive down to Green Valley and ended up re-purchasing the entire set plus a piece that we still have yet to receive from the Internet site. The prices were even better than the supposed (but not actually) "guaranteed lowest prices on the Internet." We had all three pieces delivered and set up in our house in less than 24 hours from the time of purchase! The warranty by the store has already been tested and shown to be iron clad. It was to be delivered the first time on Dec 12th, OOps we damaged it so it had to be reordered and then it will be delivered on the 31st between 10 and 3, the first call was to have it delivered before 5pm, the second call was by 7 pm and the 3rd call was by 10pm ! 9:30, DingDong, Here it is, Floppy top and all !! The table had a floppy top from bad desigining and to took a month to get it picked up so I could get my money back and go somewhere else. They have to send a tech to your house to make sure you didnt do something to the damn thing and then they will have it picked up a week later and will return your money when they have it !! I will never go there again, everyone kept saying I'm Sorry but they are all talk and No Action !! To whom it may concern: I bought a Stearns & Foster Estate mattress and I need to say this. It is the most "UNCOMFORTABLE" mattress that I have ever spend money on. I should of stayed with my old one and that was already like 20+ years old, but, with that one, I didn't get up in the morning with an aching back. This new one from Stearns and Foster is like sleeping in a hard hole. I try moving and it's like I'm climbing out of the hole and I feel like I have something in a form of a ball that doesn't let me lay straight.... I've had it since March of 2017 and now I'm trying to get rid off. Plus, I have a hard time to get the sheets tucked under cause it's so heavy and I don't have the strength to lift it up. I know if I don't get rid of it, when I get to painting the bedroom, I won't be able to move my bed to paint the wall behind it. There is another thing is that stores just don't sell sheets that are deep enough for this kind of mattress. The mattress has a pillow on top and the pillow is useless it doesn't give support and comfort. Sorry to say this to Ashley furniture, cause the person that helped me was very nice, but, I can bet he doesn't know if the mattress's are comfortable or not. All they want to do is Sell and this is the results of it. Never again will I buy a mattress from Ashley... I will have to go to a mattress place and hope that they know what they are selling.
