So, I went in person to the store to see a dining table I really wanted. The price online was for $559. In the store they tried to sell me the EXACT same dining table for the elevated price $770. I was NOT happy about that so I walked out without ordering. BUT - I did like the dining table enough that I ordered it online and with out the extra pricing. The table has not arrived yet so I have no update on the quality. But I'm praying it'll be gorgeous because I'm not sure how the return process would be with the store. Long story short - 1) go in person to see quality and colors if needed 2) Order Online 3) use Honey to get an extra discount automatically applied. I got an extra $110 taken off of my order from it. Bad salespeople taken to the extreme. The person we had basically held our hand from the moment we got into the store to the moment we ran out of there. I've heard similar experiences from family. The management either needs to adjust their compensation policies, or they should tell their staff to give their customer's some breathing room. The furniture (couches and tables) were very uncomfortable, and VERY expensive. As an example: they are selling fake plants for $800. And they didn't even look particularly nice. Absolutely insane. We bought two loveseats, with cloth material. With in 3 months there was excess wear on the foot rest. Went down to the store location to have them make it right. If our furniture is coming apart after 3 months. Not a good piece of furniture. They had someone come to our home and shaved the fabric with a flat utility knife. Took pictures. After that no contact. We went back to the store 3 times after Again some one came to our home, took pictures. The last visit to the store, after a clerk, saying she was the manager and tell us that clothes can cause this. WHAT! Ended up talking to the temporary manager. We only went into Ashley furniture looking for furniture... but isn't that what everyone does? We went in on their "one day only sale!" And was greeted by a very friendly associate who did her very best to help us find a new bedroom set. We did not have any luck but that was not her fault. We are very picky. Ashley furniture is one of those places that to us is hit or miss. One time we can go in there and find an entire house full of furniture that we do not need and the next time we can walk in there and find nothing. read more

I spoke with the woman who sold us our furniture, Nancy, and another woman named Christine, who told me she was a manager. Neither one followed through on their word to help us or put us in touch with someone who could. I called 2 buy a mattress, and I spoke with an associate. He didn't have the answers, so he said his manager would call me back upon his arrival at 2pm that day. The manager or the associate never called back. During the conversation, the associate told me that he would not recommend that I order from the Ashley store online because of the virus. He said that it would not be delivered for up to two months, so I went ahead and checked out the website since I didn't get a call back. I received my mattress and all of its accessories within one week. My suggestion to you, the consumer, is to go to the website online before going here because you will probably receive much better customer service and an overall better experience. read more

Ashley's customer service is among the worst I've ever experienced. The only reason they get two stars is because the quality of their furniture seems to be good. The lower score is due to absolutely no follow through by the sales person, nor her supposed manager (after she promised to get back to us nonetheless), or others in the organization. Delivery date was pushed back three times even though we were originally told it was in stock and is why we chose them for our bedroom set...to get it as soon as possible. Very unprofessional across the entire spectrum and the ONLY good service providers we dealt with were their delivery personnel and one person on the phone, who were very professional. We even witnessed how unprofessional store personnel were with other customers when we were in the store. The headboard of our bed arrived cracked (stuff happens) and the delivery personnel took it back with them and said someone would follow up as would be expected. No one ever did. It took us calling them days later to get that ball rolling again. Schedulers then leave voicemails with no return phone number or only the national Ashley number, which has limited options. Their national computer system evidently doesn't talk to the local one, the local store has to contact the delivery section separately, and so far there hasn't even been a way for me to directly call back the delivery center to confirm; so, the only way to confirm delivery times is through intermediaries since their personnel evidently don't leave direct numbers for callbacks. We've heard many excuses, mainly their "upgraded" computer/software system, but that simply means that follow up by the employees is that much more important instead of using it as an excuse. I do have to give credit to Mike and his coworker in delivery, and Kristina who assisted via phone, who were very professional and helpful. The other local furniture stores we dealt with when moving into our new home were outstanding by comparison and I don't know if we'll ever buy furniture from Ashley again. read more

This place is an absolute joke. They claim to have a price match guarantee, until you come in with a price match that is way cheaper than what their floor price is. We wanted a headboard and two end tables that we saw on a few different websites. Walmart, Target, and multiple places on Amazon. Now I get you can't really price match against Amazon stores, but both Walmart and Target were significantly cheaper. When we came in to show them that Walmart and Target were about $350 dollars cheaper, they said they weren't sure if the could price match because it could be a "knock off" version, even though both sites said it was the same Ashley furniture sitting on their floor. After speaking with a manager, the best the could do was knock off $100 dollars. Some price match right? We ended up just buying all of it through Walmart and saved almost $400 dollars. Avoid this place if you are planning on price matching. They obviously don't honor what it clearly says on their website. read more

BEWARE ! We spent over three hours last week purchasing furniture at this store. The items we purchased were selected SPECIFICALLY because the salesman told us the items were in stock and available for immediate delivery. The process took forever because they said they were having issues with the in store computers. We returned after having dinner and they still took another 45 minutes to process the order. When we failed to hear from them for our scheduled delivery date, we went to the store. We were advised then that our furniture was not in stock and would not be available until sometime in December. I cancelled our order and then it took another 45 minutes for the manager to process a refund. The same thing happened last spring when we attempted to purchase an outdoor dinning set from Ashley. Do not shop here! They tricked us with used car salesman tactics. We bought 2 dressers and 2 night stands. We were told 1 dresser was in stock, 1 was 2 weeks out and the night stands 3 weeks out. We were promised delivery of the first dresser with the other items to follow. 5 weeks later, we have nothing. Ashley sent us 3 emails saying delivery will be delayed over and over. It's been 5 weeks and now we are being told it will be another 3 weeks. They have both dressers at the warehouse and are waiting on the night stands. They won't do 2 deliveries so they are going to hold the dressers until the other items come in. We have our clothes on the floor of our room because we were lied to. Do not believe the sales people, they will say whatever it takes to make the sale. read more

We went in Saturday afternoon and we got a living room set that we were under the impression that financing was zero interest for 12 months they run my fiancé's credit and we are waiting there while they're doing all the paperwork and right as he's about to sign it says The total of the furniture set was double because it had interest on it so we were going to pay $2300 for a furniture said that it was 999. He was about to sign the paperwork until he saw that the price doubled employees didn't know what they were talking about ran our credit anyways. We were going to pay cash but got talked into financing because we were told there was no interest for the first 12 months. We ended up paying cash anyways because they were charging us double with interest so ran our credit for no reason and docked us points. I felt like I was buying a car. Spent waaaaay too much time here. I'll admit, they have beautiful furniture and quality is there BUT don't expect to get anything on time. If they give you a date and then tell you,"3 days after that date," just know that's a lie. They will tell you anything so that you buy their furniture and make false promises and tell you to call them and then when you do, nobody is available to talk to, nobody will call you back and there is no evidence of what they spoke to you about in their computer system. They tell you to pick up your own furniture and when you do, "computer system is down," and they can't find anything so you have to come back hours later, then you unpack the items and it might be damaged and if it is, a technician will come out weeks later to see if it was you who damaged it. You can call the warehouse directly and give them your info and even they don't know when your furniture will be in. We were told April 16th but now it's May 8th. So I guess if you need furniture, give them 4-6 weeks since they blame it on their location. I wish they wouldn't give dates at all. I wish they cared more about their customers and communicated better. We bought furniture with RC Willey and it's night and day. Wish we spent are hard earned money with them instead. They had so much time to fix things or make things right before I wrote this review but they chose to ignore us and not do anything about this situation at all. read more

Just left Ashley Furniture was there when they opened at 11:30 am and now it's 2:30 pm. They gave us the run around. We told them the price we wanted to stay under and that was including discounts and tax everything out door. Well the price we were told when we liked a sectional was $1400 but when they started adding things on price was way over 2 grand. We kept telling the people we had to leave we had to be to another place to pick someone up and that was over an hour. They didn't listen. The guy got a lady involved and she was a bitch. She was like well if you plan on paying it off what's the big deal with the price. She was majorly pushy. She liked to cop an attitude with us. I purchased a headboard, footboard, and rails from Ashley Homestore in Meridian, Idaho. The expected arrival date to warehouse was 6 weeks, it arrived in 4. That's the good news! When I arrived at the warehouse, the worker found the boxes and immediately loaded them into my truck and said, "You're good to go. " I had to drive over 100 miles to get to my destination. As I unpacked the boxes, I noticed that the headboard was damaged in one spot. I got on the phone and called the number listed. I was referred back to the store I purchased the items from. I called customer service and after waiting 45 minutes on the phone, I spoke to a representative. She took the information down and asked me to send photos while we were on the phone together, I did. She reviewed the photos and said she'd call me back within the day. She called back within 20 minutes and said she spoke to the "highest level supervisor " and there is nothing they can do because I left the warehouse without pulling everything out. I paid over 500.00 for damaged goods. I will never purchase another item from Ashley furniture or recommend anyone else to purchase anything from them. read more

My boyfriend and I looked around everywhere for something we wanted, and it was specific. We came into Ashley and Aleena helped us find just the right thing. We had a good experience minus that it took forever for us to receive our furniture due to the shipping containers being help because of the pandemic. However, she helped us in situations where the 800 number told us incorrect information and gave us her personal cell number to get quicker answers. Also, we ended up picking up our furniture rather than having it delivered and she helped makes sure that charge was taken off our financing loan balance when it wouldn't reflect immediately. Aleena was super helpful on her days off and it was appreciated to have her help us along the way! read more

Wouldn't recommend this store. Was given incorrect information from a store employee that if I used my Ashley credit card, I would get $100 off and 60 months deferred interest. I was told that was incorrect and zero willingness to make up for the false information. Attempted to cancel mattress order and was told it was cancelled. Got a call later that day advising that the order could not be cancelled but was told I could return the mattress if the box was unopened. I go to return the mattress and was told it cannot be returned. Very frustrating to deal with. They took back the mattress but was advised they couldn't give me a receipt. I gave it 1 star as I could not give it zero. The staff is friendly, but once you buy something watch out. We bought an entire living room and bedroom group for our kids that just moved into a new home. Delivery was set (called and confirmed) and a complete no show (no calls or texts the day of delivery) from Ashley. I called the next day (expect to be sent to the Arizona call center, you may get to the Meridan store in 30 or 40 minutes) and they said they did not have everything (an end table and a rug) in stock, so they did not deliver. They said they would deliver what they had in stock the following week. I called the day before the delivery to confirm and was told they knew nothing about our delivery. Said it would be another 6 weeks (said they did not want to make 2 delivery's). Really, we spent over 10K and they would not delivery because of 2 small missing pieces that were less than $300. It was supposed to be a quick visit to check out pricing for our son as he needed a new bed. Instead it turned into a two hour go back and forth with about 10-12 signed documents. Don't get wrong, Ashley has beautiful furniture and offerings. They also have smiling and very polite salespeople. Paul was our salesperson and he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. So, you may ask, what's the problem. There are several issues. (1) They have specials but it is very nebulous as to what the final price is going to be. We had a budget of 700 or so and after two hours, the price had ballooned to 954 not including the finance and payments with the total amount to be north of 1200.00. All of this for a Full size mattress and frame. (2) We must have signed our names at least twenty times on all sorts of paperwork. All the while we had really no clue what was the price until the last moment. (3) Delivery and setup is north of 120 dollars. (4) Delivery was a week out. We signed our names to the agreement just to get out since the process was way too long. We have negotiated for a new car in less time. Thankfully, they offer a 48 hour cancellation clause. We were told that we could not call in the cancellation, so after we saved ourselves roughly 700 dollars by visiting a competitor, we returned to Ashley and cancelled our order. While Ashley may be for other people, it simply was not for us. Again, this review is not about the quality of the merchandise or the friendliness of the employee, both of which is 5 stars but the overall process of getting customers through the sales process needs to be reviewed otherwise it may be simpler to purchase a car with zero money down. read more

We spent thousands of dollars here. One of the two mattresses were manufactured incorrectly. It is extremely uncomfortable for my arthritic back. They will not take a return on it. It has been over a month and just now sent someone to look at it. Then we are expected to wait at least a week for them to tell us if we get a new one. Then who knows how long that will take. Our couch and love seat were to arrive Oct 2 at the latest. They then called to say the set wouldn't be ready until Oct 17. They are at my house right now, with only a love seat. Ordered a coffee table and end tables during Covid. The box was delivered with holes in it. After opening it the coffee table had a hole straight through the wood. I tried calling quite a few times and could only leave a message. It said they would call me back in 24-48 hours. They never call me. I tried emailing and that wouldn't go through either. Automatic message saying they wouldn't be using email during Covid. After several months of frustration I just called my credit card and filed a dispute. Worst service ever. Ordered a sectional and a dining set. Took 2 months for the couch. Then 3 days prior to the scheduled delivery for the dining set, they tell me they don't have it and it will be delayed another 2 weeks. Glad I had the day off to be home for the delivery for them to cancel. So FINALLY they arrive with the dining set, one of the delivery guys smacks the table on the side of the truck on the way out. Also there was paint missing/scratches on the chairs. Had a tech come out a few days later to repair with touch up paint. A few days later, I notice there is paint overspray on one of the chairs. So far I have left 4 messages, spoken to 2 managers, 1 store employee and countless emails. After a week and a half I am told I need to wait up to 48 hours for the escalation team to contact me back. I'm seriously about to dump these items on their doorstep and sue them after filing a claim with BBB.
