He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and extremely helpful in assisting us with the perfect purchase of a Flexsteel Italian leather sofa with an additional reclining chair for our movie room. We could not be more pleased with the experience we had. Delivery and setup was within two days and was a breeze. I bought an extended warranty on a Cozzia Massage chair from RC Willey. We have spent the last 6 months trying to get it repaired. Finally today the Cozzia Repair tech said that it can't be repaired and it needs to be replaced. . . but the problem is that RC Willey will only give me about 5k less than the cost of a replacement chair as credit since I bought a floor model. So I can't afford that and now have to find a way to get this chair hauled out of my home. . . VERY FRUSTRATING! read more

My girlfriend and I purchased a sectional and rug in early March. Our sales man Keith Wheeler was great showing us everything and helping us make a selection. He said he would reach to let us know when we could expect delivery of our furniture. I called to get an update on our deliver , and received NO call backs. I waited a few days and called customer service my self and they let me know it was there, and had been there. Not a good look at all, if you are going to take peoples money, take their calls.. do better man! read more

We ordered several thousand dollars worth of appliances and furniture, including extended warranty's and delivery with installation. Redeeming said warranty's has been an absolute nightmare. Service techs who come out have been helpful, but communication between ordering parts and the meridian store have been inconsistent. Store claims Fabric warranty's not including a broken zipper, supposedly only to clean the chase. Salesperson and the service techs claim the zipper should be covered. Ordered 5 Billy bookcases, of which several arrived without appropriate hardware so the delivery and installation team said that replacement parts would be free, since it was missing upon delivery. It's been a battle getting a straight answer as to why I'm getting charged several hundred dollars for stuff that was promised to be covered, delivered and installed without. Don't waste your money here. Their stuff breaks quickly and then they claim it not to be covered any of the warranties. read more

We've been RC Willey customers for more than 20 years. Today we were just browsing couches and loveseats. What made today special was Cash and AJ. Cash - U da man. Storytime. We were left in peace to wander around and plop our rears in about 30 or so loveseats and couches. Some with motion and others without. We even ventured into the Dink and Doink section for deals. When we found a piece we liked I went to the counter and talked to Laurie but she told me that Cash is the man. Makes sense to me because one of the mantras is Cash is king so I hopped over to see Cash. Cash informed me that I still had a line of credit which is exactly what I wanted to confirm. I went looking for a salesperson and easily spotted a green tape measure. Said tape measure belonged to AJ / Andrew. We did some chit chat and within about 10 minutes I was back at Laurie to check out but poor Laurie hadn't yet been training so guess who checked me out? Back to Cash. Again Cash was great. If I could have brought him some ice cream afterward to thank him for his service, I would have even though that would have been weird. Bought 2 brand new electric recliners and a love seat. 1 of the recliners does not work and the other recliner the base is bent So the recliner doesn't go up all the way and it was just delivered today and no one can even come look at them for us until Friday. I recently made a review stating that they kept giving me delivery dates for my bed that they never actually met. I had to call them 3 times over the course of 2 months to get a date that was actually correct. When I made the review, I was told to just reach out to customer service via email. I did. What did they say? CALL THE STORE! WHAT DO YOU THINK I'VE BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE TIME!? Anyways. After complaining, they finally gave me a real delivery date. The reason I am writing this is because after waiting 2 months for this bed, it arrived with a rip in the headboard, no instructions, and no screws. This company is an absolute scam that will do anything to avoid giving you the product you paid for, and when you finally get it, it'll be broken and incomplete. They said it was going to be ordered and that they would send someone out to install it. We bought a couch and love seat in March of this year and within a month, the love seat mechanism started falling. I had bought the 5 year warranty, so called the store for a repair. Sadly, the RC Willey customer service department fell flat. They were supposed to call me for a repair pickup and never did. After multiple calls to the store that went unanswered, I went to the store and talked to the store manager Juan. Juan was awesome and agreed that they had failed us. I purchased a wash machine with extended warranty last August...the washer quit working a few days after the one year anniversary of my purchase...but I have extended warranty...long story short my wife passed away the same week the washer went out..I got a service order submitted and explained my wife passed away and I had family from out-of-state staying with me preparing for her service...I thought they would have some compassion and quickly get me taken care of...no such luck...1 month later and two visits from the contracted appliance repair and still no washer! We contracted with RC Willey to redo the flooring in our rental home. We explained the urgency of the matter and chose flooring that not only cost more but that we also liked less specifically because we were told it would be in in a matter of a "few days" and that a crew would be available. We made it very clear that securing a tenant in short order was important for us and that if the delay was to be "weeks," we did not wish to place an order. Over two weeks later, the first guys came out to do the floors. NO TRANSITIONS were installed between LVP and carpet. LVP was finished with abrupt edges that were not cut evenly. Extensive dust and debris left in home. (We paid out of pocket for our housekeeper to include cleaning the brand new floors when she came to do the move out/move in clean. Mopping and vacuuming.) We called to ask them to finish the job, explained (again) the urgency and it took over a week for them to send a crew. Yesterday, we examined the work of the second attempt and ALL transition pieces were loose. In fact, pushing on them with a single finger caused them to fold in half and crack in the middle. There's certainly no way they would have had the integrity to hold the weight of a person. (In addition, the floors were a mess again - so we will need to go back and dust/vaccuum for the second crew.) Today, a third guy came and said he used a better glue. He also stated that to do the floors correctly, they needed to be torn out from the underlayment. Great. So we are now a month without rent, out the cost of cleaning the floors twice, the job is still not done...and there's a place int he middle of the kitchen where they installed three matching LVP pieces instead of mixing up the pattern. When I spoke to Brian, the floor manager, he offered me $150 credit and said look "it's a small job out in Emmett." Wow. It wasn't a small job for our family! It was nearly $5000 out of pocket (plus lost rent, lost $ to housekeeper, additional disruptions to tenants) and we were just hoping to be treated like our job mattered. My name is David G Haltom. I had the most gracious and wonderful experience this morning, Monday, July 14, 2925 with manager , Juan at the Meridian store. I went there as they opened and went to customer service and spoke to the young lady working that counter. I told her my situation and she ask if I would like to speak with the manager after discussing the issue with the controls on a recliner we had purchased. Our new puppy had chewed into the control wiring of the chair. Juan the manager, came spoke to me. We got the sku# off the chair, found another one exactly like it on the floor. Juan called one of the guys in the warehouse area, got him to check for another control and cord in the back. He found one, brought it back. We tried it in the chair to make sure it worked. It did, Juan gave it to me. We shook hands and I expressed how much I appreciated his help and kindness. Cane home and put it on our chair. All of the people we interacted with were great. Our salesman Jack was very professional and helpful. We bought a leather sofa and loveseat combo as well as a large entertainment center for our new home. Spent just about 9k. First delivery we received the sofa, but the loveseat was damaged and had to go back. Second delivery (the following week) we received the loveseat and entertainment center, but the entertainment center was missing the section that the tv goes on. Delivery manager called my wife and told us the missing piece would be delivered to us first thing Saturday morning. This was on Wednesday. Missing piece didn't arrive on Saturday and we were having a surprise birthday party at our new house for our son in law that evening. Finally called our salesman Jack on Monday and he lined up the delivery of the missing piece the next Thursday. Which we were told they only deliver furniture to our area on Wednesdays. Sure enough our missing piece was delivered Thursday. The problem with that was the guys that delivered it are the electronics deliver installers and had no experience putting together a large 7 piece entertainment center. Hats off to Forest and Jacob the electronics installers. They did their absolute best to read through all the instructions and diligently worked their tails off putting that very large and heavy entertainment center together. Got it all put together, but didn't have the proper equipment to get it pushed back into place. I've ordered furniture sliders from Amazon that should be here tomorrow. Hopefully myself, my son and son in law can get it slid into place. read more

The process to check out or buy anything is beyond inefficient. Then, it takes 30-45 minutes to check out because no one is able to do all of the job (I.e you have a question at check out, have to get out of line and ask a sales person. They can't change sales orders or check inventory at check out). Such a disrespectful waste of people's time. read more

Purchased a Liverpool Demin sofa with matching chair in June 2024 for my "new home". I also signed up and purchased the "Blue Rewards Annual Membership" because of my positive experience. After 6 months I noticed the mid sofa cushions were sagging and obviously compressed. I visited my sales rep and she mentioned they have been selling lots of this product with no reported issues and was surprised by my photos. Customer service was initially attentive and told me I had to wait for a service tech to come out to verify my issue. I was told that it could take up to 5 to 6 weeks for the sofa to be repaired and returned back to me. After this contact I had to wait for a "Return Authorization" from the manufacturer. The customer service rep could not give me a TAT and was non-empathetic and rude. After a month past, I went to the store for follow up. My sales rep had trouble remembering me and customer service said they had to (again) contact the manufacturer on the status. My sales rep mentioned that customer service "dropped the ball" and went to her management. My sofa was replaced within the week. I am pleased with the replacement but concerned the issue will return. There is no option for me to write a product review so others would not have the same experience as me. This experience turned out to be very stressful. I will not be returning or purchasing any more products from this establishment. read more

Pt2 UPDATE!!! Rc Willey has responded and doubled down on the "Return" position. The issue of the return is mute since RC Willey exchanged the product originally, stating no other issue and pointing out no "wear and tear". Upon taking them into Apple the technician, who took time to examine the product for damage and malfunction, stated that they were brand new condition and no issues other that one of the earbuds not working. They had no issues resolving my exchange and have done so. Apple also stated that the serial number issue that RC Willey mentioned is not an issue at all. Many customers remove or damage the serial tag from the box upon opening . The solution is simply connecting the product to obtain the serial number. The issue is a poor manager, John Smith, who is obviously in a position for which he is under qualified. The real complaint is not the poor customer service of RC Willey but rather a store manager, John Smith, defaming the character of a customer in the presence of several witnesses including customers and staff by accusing/ verbally and blatantly, me of stealing or fraud. Thank you RC Willey for skipping over the defamation situation in your response. To prove the bad intentions of this manager, maybe I'll ask why, if Apple products can't be returned, that the stores have display cabinets filled with returned and often times, defective Apple products that you sell right back to unsuspecting customers. I'm confused. Maybe you can explain the policy again and why it applies to some but not all? I'd also like to know why current customer service reps/ supervisors from the meridian location have reached out to harass me, only me online simply because I pointed out their mistake. Over the last several years my husband and I have purchased several items at around $15,000.00. Covid was a part of some of the issues being that items would be delivered damaged every time. We were either offered a discount or replaced the damaged item with a new item, but with Covid it would take several weeks or months to get. Also, when the item is delivered by RC Wiley, the delivery will not be completed correctly. The first item was a refrigerator installed and the ice maker line leaked and caused damage to my wood floors in the amount of $20,000.00. I returned the refrigerator and purchased a new item from someone else, and my insurance company was going after RC Willey. Also, we purchased a gas BBQ that was deceived, but the plastic was not all removed, we had to call to have them come back out to remove the rest of the plastic. Then when connecting to the gas line, the connector line provided with the BBQ did not work and we had to purchase a new one and take the broken one back to RE Willey. Just wasted more time dealing with their items. The most recent item is a dealing with reclining chair that I purchased a year ago for my husband to help with his Neuropathy because it elevates his legs nicely. The chair started out great, until the motor went out 6 months later. I contacted customer service and reported the issue, and they sent someone out to inspect. They came out to confirm the problem and they would order a new motor, which would take 5 to 6 weeks to get. I also informed them of other issues with the chair, and they said they would place the order to replace the arm with the stitching issue and another panel with a stitching issue. It would take 5 to 6 weeks to get the new motor and 11 weeks for the panels. The motor got replaced at 4 weeks and we were waiting for the panels. Before the panels were replaced, we were in the process of having our wood floors resurfaced due to another leak, and the chair was wrapped with paper and plastic by my professional moving company and was placed in the pod that sad in my driveway during the resurfacing of my wood floors. During this process we received a call from RC Willey saying that our panels have come in and that they will be replaced, but the chair will need to be picked up and completed at our factory. I informed them that the chair was in a pod on our driveway and set the appointment once the pod was emptied. When the chair was picked up, I decided to keep it professionally wrapped for the safety of the chair. RC Willey picked up the chair and had it for a week, and upon delivery of the chair back, the left upper side panel had a huge puncture in it leather. This was not at all in the chair when it was professionally packed, the chair looked good except for the panels that were getting replaced. My husband received the chair but just checked the panels that had been replaced. I got home an hour after the chair had been returned and immediately saw the puncture in the side panel. We called RC Willey that same day and sent them a photo of the damage to the chair. Their first response was to give us $100.00 or have the panel repaired. Currently, I have really had it with the service and all the damaged items I have had to deal with. We informed them that this was not good enough and now they are sending someone out to look at the chair. Stay toon because I am not sure what they plan on doing. However, the installer showed up, no paperwork or information regarding the job. The install looks good, however, never informed me he had completed the job, no paperwork once again to sign showing completion of job, or allowing me to inspect it prior to leaving, and quietly left leaving my doors (both storm door & front door) WIDE OPEN!! I don't usually write reviews, but my frustrating experiences with RC Willey have pushed me to warn others. After two major purchases that turned into complete nightmares, people need to know what they're getting into if they make the mistake of shopping there. First disaster: two years ago, we bought a stackable washer/dryer. While the machines are fine, they delivered them without the necessary stack kit. They couldn't get one for almost two weeks, leaving us without a functional laundry setup. This was after paying $90 for their so-called "Blue Delivery." Annoyed, I had to buy the kit from a competitor and install it myself. Second disaster: this year, we bought a couch and a fabric protection plan from them. We picked a couch we loved, had it customized, and waited eagerly for it. They called to say it was ready and would be delivered by the end of the week. I moved our old couch out the night before, but guess what? No delivery. The salesperson screwed up the schedule, delaying the delivery by almost a week. We were left without a couch in our small condo. After raising hell at the store, the manager refunded us $250. That was the only decent part of this ordeal. When the couch finally arrived, it was a mess--dirt marks, scuffs, and even plastic screwed into parts of it. The liner on the ottoman was falling off, and one of the sectionals was missing the bracket to join it together. When we called the sales rep, she nonchalantly said this happens all the time and basically told us not to expect perfection. Are you kidding me? I'm 45 and have bought several couches in my life without ever facing such shoddy service. I asked what they planned to do to fix this mess. She said she'd talk to her manager and get back to me, and we also scheduled a repair tech and a cleaner. Surprise, surprise--the tech never showed up. This was after I took time off work to be there. When I called customer service again, I was told they couldn't fit us into the schedule. The sales rep called back to say they thought they'd done enough by giving us the $250 refund. That refund was for the initial screw-up, not for delivering a defective couch. We paid for a fabric protection plan, and they're acting like they're doing us a favor by sending someone to clean it. We love the couch and are keeping it, but I'll fix the issues myself because I refuse to deal with RC Willey again. Their incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction are appalling. They might offer good prices, but it's at the expense of any semblance of good service or customer care. DO NOT BUY FROM RC WILLEY! YOU MIGHT LOVE THE ITEM, BUT YOU'LL HATE DEALING WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL SCREW IT UP. read more

Delivery/customer service is horrible. I bought a couch on the 2nd, paid $100 for it to be delivered. Got a call the night previously with the time frame and moved around my schedule to accommodate. I got the tracking info that morning and each time I checked it was being delivered later and later so I called to reschedule for the following week. Again, I rearranged my schedule to accommodate. I thought it was odd that I never got a confirmation call the night before or tracking info so I called customer service this morning only to find out the person I talked to never actually rescheduled my delivery. Even though I even made a follow up call to confirm, nobody ever scheduled it like they said. Now for the third time, I'm having to cancel an entire day of plans. Would never recommend. We ordered a large tv and it was delivered but the two delivery people gave my mother some story about keeping the box in case we had to return it. Imagine the box for a 90 plus inch tv with all of the foam and packaging. Terrible company. TWO RC Willey's staff members confirmed our Delivery date of our New Washer and Dryer as today, Thursday, September 5, 2024. We were told we would receive a call with the exact time of the delivery the night before delivery on 9/5. They said if we did not receive a call to please call them back. We called them and no one new anything. We have waited three weeks and never left the home all fay today, excited to get our new washer and dryer. We have been on the phone with RC Willey and they managers all day. Now, they day we do not know when the washer and Dryer will be delivered. Maybe next week? We are new to Treasure Valley and came here on the recommendation of a friend. We ended up purchasing some end tables and a coffee table. The price seemed reasonable. We liked the person that helped us, Melissa. The process of purchasing went smoothly. My only complaint was when we went to pick up our ittems. You are directed to a loading dock area. We parked and followed the instructions for contactless check-in to have our items brought out to the dock to be loaded into our car. We waited 10 minutes. Another customer came and went into the office. We decided to do the same. The young woman behind the counter was nice, but when I told her that we had been waiting 10 minutes with no response, she apologized and said that she had just arrived. The implication to me was that no one had seen our text and we would have sat outside indefinitely had I not come in to the office. If we shop at RC Willey again, I will most certainly go into the office to check-in. read more

The two stars are for the salesman that assisted us. He was helpful and very nice. Bought office furniture and a chair about 6 month apart. Everything arrived damaged. Had to refuse delivery. Took 4 times to get office furniture right. One of the issues was that the rod/bar for one of my filing cabinets was missing. I do not understand where the quality control is. How can they let products be delivered damaged is beyond me. We had them build my bookshelf unit. How stupid of them that the main panel is backwards. I commented to the last delivery team that this is unacceptable and 3 times and counting for a damaged chair. He said it's been this way since 2020. I do not plan on ever Shopping here again. on December 10, I had a new GE front loader washer with pedestal and GE front loader dryer with pedestal delivered to my home. The delivery was problematic, but that's not why I'm writing this review. I've tried to use the washer and I find that it doesn't spin out the water enough to get things dry and it's not getting things very clean. I contacted RC Willey and they came out and leveled the washer and that did not correct the problem the customer service person told me quite rudely that you've had the washer over 14 days and you cannot return it. I said I didn't want to return it. I just wanted it to work. They referred me to the GE extended warranty service. The young technician that came out explained a lot of things to me apparently there has been a change in legislation regarding washing machines. It will save me $48 a year in energy cost. However, the young man explained that it isn't a washing machine that will wash small loads because it won't balance properly and it will either stop mid cycle or it simply won't spin out enough of the water. He recommended I add a couple of sacrificial towels to all small loads to help ballots the loads. I'm an old lady. I live alone with the dog. I only have to wash my things about every two weeks cause I have plenty of clothing. I wear brightly colored tops and I separate them according to colors that makes a few small loads and then I have a medium size loads of black because I usually wear black pants. The problem with the retaining water is especially evident in natural fibers like cotton or rayon. Polyester things don't hold as much water. They're not as absorbent. So there's no real fix for this problem. I can't return the washer and dryer. I just wanted this to be a warning for those of you who live alone a Singleton that doesn't do large loads will not be able to use this washer satisfactory. The sad part is when I add towels in the dryer doesn't get things dry enough because it too is energy efficient. The young man explained that this change has taken affect in all washers and dryers except for speed queen, which is still making theirs as they did it in the 1990s. What I needed to buy was a top loading washer and my sales person had asked would I like a top loading washer and I said I would but I needed the dryer to be on a pedestal and I didn't think they'd look very good in my laundry room mismatch like that. I needed to be warned that this washer would not do what I needed. I don't know if they even know that, but they should pretty soon because I'm sure there's gonna be other Singleton's that have the same problem. None of our C Willie folks explain this to me before or after and while I was having problems. The customer service person I worked with was quite adversarial. I haven't had to deal with her recently, they may have changed her position. Warning to all of you singles out there do not buy a front loading washer or dryer from any manufacturer that are made at this time. They are all going to have the same problem because of the energy, saving modifications. I am going to continue to try to problem, solve and help myself work out how to use these. But I am really to the point that I'm going to give them away to someone with a family where they actually might work however I am sure they're not going to get as clean as they would've in an earlier model washer. The government's gotta stay out of our business. I mean they're making regulations that mean very expensive appliances can't do the job. Good luck to you out there. It's a brave New World. My husband and I were in the Market for a new bedroom set. We went in to look around. Keith approached us and we chatted. He gave us his card and said if anyone else approaches you, just hold that card up. We liked that, because we didn't have to chat with other salesmen! We did look at a Few sets, but definitely like the sold wood one we bought. It was a little pricy, but we bought it! The best part was that we were at the store on a Tuesday and Keith said he could have it delivered on Saturday. We were pleasantly surprised. The delivery was set and I was kept informed of when the delivery would be made. It came early, so we were happy about that! The delivery guys were excellent too.
