No, I would not recommend Ashley furniture. The sofa broke 3 days after the purchase and continues to be broken 3 months after the purchase. The sofa was taken apart by the technician. The wrong part was ordered and the sofa was not able to be fixed. The sofa is sitting in our house, apart and is not usable! The needed part has not been ordered and Ashley is in able to tell me why the sofa cannot be fixed or replaced. read more

Went in to order a bedroom set for my daughter spent hours there went over everything explained the situation to the associate Martha Cortez. We went over the mattresses and the differences between them also that we needed a box spring as well due to a fiber glass issue with our last mattress. She even asked if I wanted to purchase a mattress cover for it. Not only did she not order the mattress or box spring she also ordered the wrong dresser and is stating I never mentioned a mattress. At the time I Refused the warranty but the manager Tod came out gave a whole speech about giving them a chance and to call him personally if we ever needed to make a claim he offered a discount so we felt pressured to agree. Now that part of the order came incorrect I called the store asked to speak to Tod and he refused to speak to me imagine that. Don't do business here order online prices are cheaper delivery charge is cheaper and you won't be harrassed about the BS warranty. They took no accountability for their mistakes. Looking back the associate took me to a different register for us to sign and didn't go over the order ítem by ítem but since we had gone over it on the tablet i thought we were good. I was sold a Tempur Pedic Mattress and a bed frame that they assured would hold the warranty on the mattress. There's a defect on the mattress now and Tempur Pedic won't honor the warranty due to an inadequate bed frame not acceptable my Tempur Pedic. Furniture is of good quality, taking possession of your purchase however is a huge headache. Purchased a queen bedroom set and decided to purchase a mattress here as well thinking it'd be easier. It is hard to know where to begin with this store and the company in general. Do I start with the fact that they have no concept of what customer service is or the shady creative salesmanship that everyone in the store displays? We decided to give them another chance after seeing how bad the quality of the furniture was in the past. So we went in and decided not to buy right away, so we thought about it for a week. When we finally returned the one sales rep stated everything blue gagged was 50% off, so we said let's do it. When we get to the counter three different people tell us, "well it doesn't apply to this and that and the other." We managed to talk to the manager who eventually came down, but not by the aforementioned 50%. Then came the issue with the delivery. Two items were damaged, so after several weeks, they came to replace one, but the drivers didn't want to take back the damaged item, and made it seem that it was our problem, so we called customer service and they said we have $250 in store credit. Only problem, when we went to use it, they said we can't use it because the item that we wanted (which was a mirror online direct from Ashley Furniture) didn't qualify and that we should buy accessories or something like that. We asked, "what is a mirror?" We immediately left the store and went to Kirkland's where we got the same item for $400 less than we were going to pay at Ashley. Be smart and save your money and time. I got 4 counter height bar stool from there online store. Online gave a way better price but I went in person to see the product. It came with no instructions. I call and they sent a bad digital copy. I asked if they had a better version or would be able to send a physical copy. If it had instructions I would have loved it. They state the furniture is in stock and provide you with a date only to be informed after the purchase is completed the furniture wont arrive for 4-5 months if not more. The sofa was broke like the wood wilted in it having owned it for only two years. We bought an electric reclinng sofa. It was recalled due to it catching on fire. 4 months of them canceling and not working with my schedule taking off work twice and it still has not been worked on. They blame the arrival on demographics and sometimes the tech doesnt even show up! i know they have very eye appealing furniture but just DONT shop americans number one furniture and matress store in north america because theyre number one and not being friendly, their customer service is trash, as well as the furniture you purchase. I purchased a love seat and reclining chair the chair came damaged and when I contacted Ashley Furniture I had to go through warranty. I expressed frustration and informed them I wanted a new chair as this one was delivered damaged they refused and said a tech would need to come look at it and if it could be fixed they would do that. If I could give zero stars I would. Probably the most unorganized, unprofessional furniture store in America. Ordered a mattress in July. They delivered the wrong one. Called the store to explain, they argued and said it was correct when it was not. It was one number off. They said there was nothing they could do until they hear back from management. The mattress was so freakin firm we could not sleep on it. After sleeping on a couch for six weeks and zero calls to notify us what was going on, we had enough. We asked for our money back and we'd give back the mattress but that was apparently not allowed. The manager never called to update. She never rushed the order. There was zero sympathy for us as customers even after we spent $7,500.00. We eventually had to get angry for them to do anything about our issue. We tried being nice from the beginning but got walked on instead. I HIGHLY recommend not purchasing anything from here because if it's not correct after they deliver the items, there's apparently nothing they can do. But please if you want a mattress, I'd go literally anywhere but here. We decided to pay off our furniture therefore we will never have to deal with this store again. read more

Although I am happy for the bed and table I bought. Over time I have noticed problems with the company. First, when I bought my furniture I was told that everything would arrive 5-8 weeks later. It has been 4 months and l am still waiting for my sofa bed. If I had been informed at the beginning that it would take longer for it to arrive I would have made another selection. Every time I ask about the status of delivery I keep getting told the manufacturer keeps pushing back the date of delivery because by sofa bed is out of stock. Make sure you look if the product is in stock before ordering it. Second, if you want to speak to customer service be prepared to wait a minimum of 40 minutes. And you I'll have to wait, because if you choose the option to have them call you back when they are done, you will not receive that call back. read more

The WORST!!! I've been waiting for my furniture for over 2 months 3 weeks ago they partially delivered my bedroom set and I say partially because they did not deliver my dresser. They broke a drawer on the bottom of the bed and said they would deliver me a new one and they would send someone to fix it asap, I haven't received the new drawer nor has anyone called me to update me on anything. When they partially delivered my bedroom set they told me to call customer service and all customer service told me was my dresser had been deleted from my invoice, so I showed them the receipt where we had actually paid for the dresser nobody could really tell me anything so idk if to keep waiting for my dresser or what but no one actually answers my questions....they're just the worst. read more

I have attached pictures of our conversation This place has been an absolute nightmare! We bought a bed and the matching dresser set to go with it. We were told it would be in, in two weeks. We didn't get it until almost 4 weeks later. Had almost everything set up and then they realized they brought the wrong bed rails. So two weeks later they bring the "right" bed rails. Nope! They brought the SAME exact bedrails that they did the first time which had already been opened because they were literally the same ones they tried to use with the first set up. Now a week later they come with the correct bed rails and finally put the bed together. First of all they sold us the wrong box spring because the bed is about a foot over the foot board and it is a jump to get on the bed. Now that is all set up and I can look at it, they also sold us the WRONG bed. And of course nobody is answering the phone to talk to them about th. Don't buy from Ashley they have no clue what they are doing. So about two months later and a long fight with customer service we finally get the correct bed, but guess what? We still have the wrong box spring! Even though I repeatedly asked every customer service rep that I talked to if the box spring would work with our new bed. I ordered a bedroom set, sofa and tv stand on September 2nd. I received the sofa and tv stand in October. The mattress and headboard/ bed frame arrived the weekend before thanksgiving. I have yet to receive the rest of the bedroom furniture. When I inquire about my order, the delivery date I am told keeps getting pushed back. Now we are looking at maybe January for dresser and chest, February 14th for nightstands. The lady at my store has been very polite and really seems like she is trying to help resolve the issue. I am almost to the point of cancelling the order and going somewhere else, which really sucks because I was looking forward to the matching furniture. I think 1 Star is all this location/company deserves. They do have a wide selection of nice pieces for your home at a reasonable price so there is my first gold star. The other stars are missing because I feel like some of the workers are pushy. I get it, they want their bonus or commission, however it dulls the experience and desire to shop there. We were informed our furniture (1 piece) would be back ordered which was our coffee storage table. Upon delivery, about 3.5 weeks later when we received our furniture we ordered, they sent and set up the wrong chair. I informed the delivery men that this was wrong so they took it back. They forgot to bring one of the stools to the kitchen table and no coffee storage table. I was told they rest would be dropped off two Fridays later. I heard nothing. Fast forward, it's been 7 weeks since we placed the order and the storage coffee table is still backordered and the chair and stool are hopefully coming on Tuesday this coming week. **BUYER BEWARE** If for any reason you are unhappy with this establishment, you're stuck. This is the biggest joke EVER. I ordered a desk from the Ashley in Midland. My salesman was wonderful. Beyond that, biggest disappointment I've ever had buying furniture. They didn't let me know when my furniture was in. I had to call them. They set me for delivery and said I was 12th on the list. At 6:44pm, they called and said that they were leaving Ft Stockton and had one stop in Monahans and we would be next. At 10:15pm, we called them and asked when they were coming. He stated some time after 11pm. We asked to speak to the dispatcher and he stated that they couldn't bring it until Saturday. I call this morning and tell them to cancel my order and she informs me that not only is she not going to do that, if I refuse the desk, she will penalize me 25% and the rest would be store credit. I asked her if she realized that they piled so much on these drivers to go to at least 3 towns that I know of in one day and that there must be a way to waive that and satisfy the problem. She told me in no uncertain terms that they were sticking me with this and there was no need to continue the conversation. I hope that at least one person can read this and change their mind about shipping here. I will be posing this review in as many places as I can find. Would give ZERO stars if possible. Will never shop at another Ashley furniture again. The salesmen just tell you what you want to hear as far as a delivery date goes. We ordered a dining set and entryway table, and It's been 3 months already and still nowhere in sight. We knew it was gonna take a little longer with the pandemic, but it's starting to get a little ridiculous. I called a couple times to check on status, and at that time they said they were waiting on was a chair and then called back again when they said everything should be in by and now they say all they have is the entryway table and were looking at another month before the dining room set would possibly be there (which I'm sure it won't be). I finally asked if we could get the entryway table delivered and this is my 3 scheduled delivery. 1st time, they called to confirm the delivery the day before and then never showed up. 2nd time, never called to confirm, or reschedule, never showed up. And here we are on the 3rd time, maybe I'll actually get a price of furniture soon. And when you call the service center, The employees don't really give a crap, very rude and unprofessional and send you on your way. No refunds either, they keep 25% and the other 75% you get as store credit, so you can buy another piece of furniture that may or may not show up this year. They said we could pick something different, but if we wanted something different we would have picked that the first time. I ordered 10 chairs from Ashley's in Midland on the 9 of Nov. it showed they were in stock so it shouldn't take that long. All of the deliveries come from Lubbock. The chairs come 2 to a box so we order 5 boxes. I Try to contact Lubbock and held twice for over and hour and was cut off. Finally Zack from Lubbock called and we set delivery date for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I have 10 people coming for Thanksgiving and those idiots brought me 5 chairs. What am I supposed to do with 5 chairs. It says right on the recipient that there are 10 chairs. I'm sure it Covid's faultPeople don't want to do there job and apparently they can't read a ticket. Ashley will sale you anything with a smile and screw you if your order is wrong. This is the first Thanksgiving without my son who as killed and I'm struggling as it is. This is the last straw.
