I have been brand loyal to Ashley's for about 20 years, making it my first go-to when shopping for furniture. I recently visited this store location looking for specific items, including a sofa. Having browsed online ahead of time, I knew what I wanted and the sales process was straightforward. I received the items as scheduled seven days later but the sofa arrived damaged with a puncture on the left side. Their doorstop delivery unfortunately did not include the courtesy of removing the stretch wrap and cardboard from the sofa or trash removal. Because we were left to handle this, it prevented us from inspecting and refusing the sofa before delivery personnel left. I contacted the store, quickly submitted photos to the customer care email address, and a replacement was sent to me three business days later. While the damaged sofa and inconveniences could have been avoided with better quality control and a standard practice to remove packaging before delivery personnel leave, I appreciated that the store was very apologetic and took swift action to resolve the issue. read more

This Owasso store is the worst furniture store I have ever been to. They lied to us about the furniture, they lied about the warranty, and they laughed at us when we complained. Devon, with customer service in Tulsa, was a smart-alecky punk. We bought the electric couch, and we are not heavy people or anything, but originally it lasted a month, then it had spring issues. So we kept the replacement because they said this never happens, and we could expect years of use. Well, a little over a year later, complete failure. Spring dropped out, cushions collapsed, and they offered to do nothing except laugh about saying it's just too bad. We asked for a remainder of the warranty since they told us it was refundable based on proration, but another lie. Do not buy from them; get a La-Z-Boy if you want to be happy. I know La-Z-Boy is a little more expensive, but you truly don't get what you pay for with Mathis and Ashley furniture. My daughter recently purchased living room furniture from Ashley and was having it held until her apartment was ready. On the day of delivery (NOT before), she was advised that Ashley will not actually take the furniture into your home/apartment. If you want them to do that it's an extra $200 charge. No mention was made of this up front or we would not have made the purchase (I"m the one paying for it). To make matters worse, sensing her frustration at this, the delivery guy sort of laughed and told her if she could have someone there "to help them out", they'd be happy to actually carry it into the apartment for an unspecified amount of cash. No way in hell is any of that acceptable to me. And then I remembered that Ashely is owned by Mathis Brothers, and two years ago we had a similar incident with Mathis, where we purchased a piece of furniture. We'd purchased a LOT of stuff through Mathis and had bought the "ELITE" option, which we were told guaranteed "in home" delivery on any purchase. Again, come delivery day, the guys were going to drop it in our driveway and leave, until my wife pitched a fit about it. They did agree to place it in our living room floor where my son and I had to move it upstairs. Swore right then and there to NEVER AGAIN buy from Mathis and this morning I swore NEVER AGAIN to buy from Ashley. There are too many other companies around town to buy overpriced furntiture from. Upshot of today was my daughter cancelled the order and now has to find another source for furniture. Sure as shooting she'll never shop Ashley again. What a Flippin mess. The sales people follow you around like high pressure car salesman. You make your purchase, your given a delivery date. Then you get a call saying it's going to be five days later than what they said. our old furniture has already been sold. Now we get a text saying our doorstep dropoff will be Thursday. We told the sales people we wanted a set up and deluvery. We can't pick up heavy crap like this. They did not care for one second, the store manager wouldn't come to the phone. I canceled the order. I have been looking for inspiration to decorate my bedroom for a while. I'm the type of person that once an idea comes into my head, it is hard for me to deviate from it, so... naturally...it takes me forever to find exactly what I have in mind. I was close to giving up hope and skew my inspiration when my dad called me while we were out on the shopping strip one day. I was looking for clothes at another store while he wandered off into the furniture store. He was certain he had found a dresser that I would like. I met him at the store and sure enough, there was my perfect white dresser & mirror. It was the piece I needed to begin the re-decorating process. It is shiny, chic, and modern while being practical, spacious AND affordable! I absolutely love it! If you're looking for decorating inspiration, this is the place to come. They have SO many different options and the way they set up is very creative and highlights each piece of furniture perfectly. A HUGE shout-out to Josh for bearing with us while all the Spanish negotiation among my family took place. You were such a sport and smiled through it all! He was so helpful as far as providing us with financial information and he also did his best to find other pieces I could be interested in. I felt like he took the time to truly focus on me and what I was looking for. He was also great guiding us through the financing application. The only reason why I don't give the full five stars is because there was way too much unnecessary confusion around financing options for foreigners (apparently there are none). Which is silly to me since other stores offer financing to internationals without a problem as long as the proper documentation is provided. That just seemed bizarre to me in this day and age here in the U.S. Especially since I'm sure they miss out on a lot of business by not giving that option. They just didn't come across as very experienced when dealing with a diverse customer. Besides that, I'll definitely come back when looking for furniture and home accessories. I'm giving this store 1 star. Nothing to do with employees. The furniture being presented in Ashley and Mathis are boring, monotone and poorly constructed. In 2017 we purchased a cream colored sectional. After it was delivered, you could see all the defects of sewing with lumps and bumps and just poor quality. It was in Idaho, not Oklahoma. The manager of that store agreed to let us swap out some way more expensive leather furniture for the horrible sectional. So yesterday we thought we would give them another try and we went into the store and everything is just blah and no color. Gray or white. I couldn't figure out any of it but it's sad that there isn't any quality furniture. Everything is pressboard and cheap looking. Also, anyone can get credit there so where's my incentive to buy with my Ashley credit card if excellent credit gets you the same price as rent to own? read more

These people here are very friendly. Our sales person Michelle helped us choose a clock and a dining room table. We came back a couple of days later since we needed to measure the space for the new furniture. Michelle was busy and her manager came up to help me out with checking out. We were in and out in no time and he was very helpful. I did not get his name but he is a great manager and was able to get the most bang for our buck with their promotions. The furniture was delivered today and I could not be happier. It was quick and the delivery guys were in and out in less than 15 mins. It only took 4 days to get it delivered. read more

So I went into Ashley home furniture in Owasso to buy an extra wide zero gravity recliner that I found online for a lower price. They told me they price match so we showed it to the sales manager in recliners. They came down in price. I wasn't sure about getting it so I left because I thought I might go ahead and order it off-line because it was significantly a better price. Then decided to go ahead and go back and get it to avoid waiting for shipping and the guy tells me it's $40 higher than what it was when I was in three days before. I mean, he said one price and didn't say it's only for this day. Very disappointed in this store. The young salesman was a sweet guy though. His manager is the one who went up on the price. It's sad cause I buy from Ashley a lot, but I won't go back in the Owasso store ever. I had to exchange a sofa set I purchased at Ashleys in Owasso I was told pay $388. The difference, The next day my bank account was overdrawn. Ashleys charged me $1611 dollars Customer Service Manager. Shocking service! ! Too bad since store is fairly new. Bought a bunk bed last Sunday for my girl's room. We found it to be a decent price and even better when we received the 10% discount. Even more of a surprise when the salesman said they would deliver and assemble for only $60! My girls were disappointed because tg eyes had to wait almost a week for their bed since they ONLY DELIVER ON FRIDAYS. Friday is here and we call to get the e.t.a on the delivery. They said between 6:30-7:30. We took a part the girls bedroom and moved out all old furniture to garage. Delivery guys called us 2 more times with later and later delivery times. Now they are wanting to deliver the bed between 1:30-12:30am!!!! So my kids have no bed to sleep in and 2 strangers are to be in my house assembling a bed....don't think so. I call customer service and according to the STORE MANAGER they gave me 2 options: pick another Friday for delivery ( so my kids will have to wait another week or so to have a bed to sleep on) OR take a refund on delivery/assemble fee (WHICH THEY WOULDN'T GIVE ME THE FULL $60 back they said I would get $51 back...so I have to just eat that $9 dollars I guess! ) and pick it up myself......ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I am very frustrated with the service from this new store and how they handled my situation. The receptionist said she would tell manager to call me....never happened. She intentionally wouldn't pull up our quote so she would get the commission. Come to find out, our salesman was there & she wouldn't give our sale back to him. I don't even know where to begin. I have purchased from Ashley Home Store in Owasso, OK before and had no problems. This purchase however has been a nightmare. My husband and I went in to purchase a new mattress. In the process we decided to also purchase an adjustable base. My husband has a credit card with Mathis Bros/Synchrony so we were going to put the purchase on that card. On this occasion, like all other times, he didn't have the actual card on him so he needed a second form of ID, which he doesn't have. An employee approved his lifetime fishing license as a second form of ID. The following Monday I texted the saleslady to request a change of delivery date due to an eye appointment. She told me we could change it but she was about to text me because the second form of ID would actually not work as ID. I had to go back in the store that night to take care of this problem. From there the process just gets worse. The day before delivery I get the text that they will deliver the next day between 6:34-8:34 PM, which is fine. The next morning I get a call a little after 10 AM asking if they can deliver. I asked how far out they were and he said 30-35 minutes so I say yes. An hour later they have still not arrived. I call Mathis Bros. and find out that he had actually called the wrong customer and that they would deliver at the stated time in the text. We head out to Owasso for breakfast and to do some shopping. When we are almost to Owasso we pass a Mathis Bros. truck on the highway...heading toward our town. We go to breakfast and I keep an eye on my phone to make sure they don't call saying they are at my house. The calls finally arrive, 5 missed calls. We happen to be eating breakfast directly across the street from the Ashley Home Store, so afterward we head over there to get things figured out. She makes some phone calls and says they had gone to the house but they will be there between the stated times or the drivers would "be in trouble." They then called and showed up a couple hours before delivery time. They proceeded to unload and set up the bed very quickly, put the batteries in the remote for the base, handed me the remote and left. They never even tested the base. When they left my husband and I made the bed and grabbed the remote to make sure it was working. It was not. I called back within 20-30 minutes of delivery. They had the driver call me, the driver said someone would call to schedule a service and would probably replace the base. Someone did call to schedule for the following Saturday, they could have come sooner but I am a teacher and can not take off work for that. This past Saturday they came out and determined that the base is not working, it is "skipping" as they call it. I was supposed to get a phone call "in a few minutes" to schedule for them to bring me a new base. I just got the phone call, which was almost 72 hour later, for them to only tell me that they have to contact the manufacturer to have something approved. I'm not even sure what they are getting approved because I was so mad that the whole conversation didn't even register. They sold me a defective adjustable base and ARE NOT GOING TO AUTOMATICALLY REPLACE IT!!!! The base has only been in my home for 11 days!!! Therefore, I will no longer be giving my business to Mathis Bros./Ashley Home Store again. read more

Also, I felt like I was respected as a customer, even though it was a rainy cold day and I was dressed in jeans and a hoodie. Worst shopping experience I've ever had anywhere. Tried to push a $5000 mattress sale on me, told me their own brand of mattress wasn't made to really be slept on, said it may hurt me, and was only for guest beds. When I went to customer service to get help and let them know what I was being told I was ignored. Then when another sales person asked if I was finding everything ok I explained my frustration just to have some big male employee tell me I can buy a cheap mattress anywhere, to take my money elsewhere, and never shop there again. Then he told me to leave their store. I was in complete shock at the way I was being treated. Never once did anyone apologize and try to help me. When I walked out I mentioned to another customer walking up that I just had the worst experience in the store and then suddenly the manager walks out and tells me she's going to call the cops if I don't leave their property. It was seriously the most insanely discriminating, embarrassing, and unprofessional experience I've ever had anywhere. read more

I bought multiple items a little over a year ago and the quality of the furniture is beyond poor. The couch and love seat have so little padding in the arms that all you feel are the blocks of wood used to make the arms. The couch has 3 cushions none of which will actually stay on the couch. As far as quality it is the worst couch I have ever owned. The queen mattress has a pillow top that flips up on the sides making it very difficult to move in the bed. The mattress has " cool technology" which they assured me would make it stay cool since it is made with memory foam. However it is actually hotter than the memory foam mattress I owned before. The table I had kept covered with table cloth to help protect the table. One day I went to change the tablecloth to discover a 5 inch piece of the edge of the table " chipped" off. I will be replacing the couch and mattress soon. Money completely wasted on those items. The service was only fair. I will never buy another Ashley product. read more

spent $4,000 and they told me it would be 2-4 weeks. 3 weeks later we call for a delivery date, was given the 8th which puts this right at the 4 week mark. they said we will receive a call with a two hour window the day of delivery.... by 2:00 we haven't heard anything so we call back.... they said we may have them sometime NEXT MONTH there not sure because they only have one of the 3 items we bought. Called to speak to our sales man and they cant find him.. they don't think he is in the building... they think he called in sick today, not sure but she thinks he did ?! (seriously what she said) then we ask for the manager and the response was "uhhhh ummm okay ummm let me see where he is... is will ummm... let me check... I will transfer you to his voicemail..." NOT IMPRESSED AND I AM THINKING I NEED MY 4 GRAND BACK! read more
