I went home and measured and came back maybe an hour later to buy. I got to the counter. The manager looks at me and says they were wrong, it wasn't in stock and it would be 4-6 weeks and he just walks off. Kind of rude, but these things happen. I said I'd like to proceed with the purchase as I'm not in a hurry. Then they tell me that they can't apply the discount and my sales rep was wrong. I said that this was bs went to my car and then went back in to take a picture of the couch. The rep ran over to me to tell me that they would honor the 17% off if I purchased right now. I told him I already heard that once today and just left. Very shady way to do business.

Although I did not find it at Sutherlands, this store came the closest out of the bigger stores in Tulsa. We were greeted upon entry and then left alone to browse. I was VERY surprised about the selection here. Really exceeded my expectations. They had lots of furniture that was unique and interesting. (Read more than brown upholstery or leather.) I would definitely return when I need furniture again (even though I didn't find my exact chair.)

We canceled that order, found another table in the store by accident because it wasn't in the dining room section and decided that we would take it. From the sale and payment point was a not so good experience. Our purchase was almost charged to some other person whose credit information was still on the screen or he was looking at some different paperwork. Then we were told we would have a delivery on Wednesday; until we had a delivery date email stating that we were showing as a pick up. That was taken care of which now pushed delivery to Friday. Then thankfully they confirmed our delivery address because it showed that we still lived in Texas. All that information was given at the time we were going to purchase the Norman set. But it may be because we had to now apply for credit through Wells Fargo because they no longer accepted the Synchrony. This just wasn't a smooth experience. As far as the value of what we purchased better be worth it because it was 2 times more than what we wanted to spend. We finally have our furniture on April 17 after a whole month of delays and incorrect information.

    My 78-year-old mother spent over $40,000 furnishing her new home here--living room, bedroom, dining…read morefurniture, bar stools, and two rugs. Unfortunately, the experience after the sale has been incredibly frustrating. The first issue was a $7,000 sectional that arrived with the back misaligned and a broken recliner. She returned it and selected another one. Thankfully, she also purchased the stain/damage protection plan on every item. Within two days, her dog had an accident on one of the rugs ($2,000). She followed reasonable cleaning steps, but the stain worsened. A claim was filed on December 3. Communication from the warranty company and cleaning service was extremely slow--calls went unanswered for weeks. A cleaner finally came on December 17 and confirmed the stain could not be removed. Because she was hosting Christmas in her new home, we were told by customer service on Friday, December 19 that the rug replacement would be approved that day and that we could bring the rug back and select a new one. We carefully folded the heavy rug, loaded it into the car, and drove to the store the next day--only to be turned away. We were told: * "You must have spoken to another store" * They had "no control" over the warranty * They had "no place to store the rug" (despite a massive warehouse) The customer service representative was rude and dismissive, to the point that I had to ask her not to speak to me disrespectfully. This was shocking given the amount of money my mother spent. As of December 23, nearly three weeks after filing the claim, the rug is still folded up in her garage. We had to buy a temporary rug elsewhere so she could host her family. That's a sale this store permanently lost--along with any future business from our family. Important warning: when you are sold a protection plan here, the service is handled entirely by a third party that appears to have no urgency or accountability. The store will distance itself from the process, even though they sold the warranty and made the promises. This is not the level of service you expect after spending tens of thousands of dollars--especially for an elderly customer. Very disappointing.
