The best Customer Service Representative in the Entire Store is Ms. Alberta in the Ashley Store in Prattville, AL. Ms. Alberta was kind, caring, helpful and mostly wonderful personality. My son was moving from Montgomery to Nashville, Tennessee attending Meharry Medical College. She was making sure the furniture was going to arrive on time. I think it was a misunderstanding the furniture should have been delivered on Monday (December 29, 2025) but arrived a day later, but Ms. Alberta kept me calm and relax with that kind respectful and kind voice. One star is generous. I spent over four thousand dollars over two weeks at this store. I paid up front, no revolving credit, no monthly payments. They got their money and I'm getting a runaround. As part of the Master Bedroom set, I received one of the nightstands that had a faulty drawer. I went to the store and asked for a replacement. What I received was a conversation that involved a manager explaining to me that they don't replace pieces of furniture, they repair them. Because "They are the factory". And yet at this factory, a piece of furniture got out of their door with a crap drawer that sticks. So, the resolution is that they ordered parts and sent them to me at home. I left the box unopened and waiting for their repair guy to arrive. Well, he arrived this morning, opened the box only to discover that Ashley sent us a dresser drawer, not a night stand drawer. So as I type, I have a repair guy in my house trying to screw in replacement drawer sliders that came with the wrong part (dresser drawer as opposed to a nightstand). Now we're waiting again for parts to arrive so that he can come here again, waste my time and his to wrench on a piece of furniture that is no longer brand new. It's been manhandled. This company is garbage. I'll never go back again. read more

I wish that I would have read more reviews before I purchased from here. I ordered a living room and dining room set for the first weekend in November. I was adamant about them delivering everything together. They tried on several occasions to just deliver pieces. Finally, they called me to schedule a delivery date the following day (their schedule, not mine). They gave me a three-hour block, the time came and went, and I heard nothing from Ashley's. Finally, I called, and they told me it would take 24-48 hours to get a response. They took my information for a manager to call and speak with me later. This is the level of service you should expect. You pay a hefty price for the Ashley name, and the service does not match the price. read more

Bought two couches here during Black Friday sale. Greeted pleasantly and warmly. Sale was very good on the sofa and loveseat we purchased. Great customer service experience. Only complaint I have was other patrons were just lounging on the sofa that had the great sale talking like were at home. It was hard to see the furniture. Our purchase started out to be something to really look forward to until it was time to deliver. We waited 4 months on some items before requesting a refund. We have received nothing but headaches, some damage items, and some missing items from them. Not to mention, when we call to check on the items promised but never received, all we get is "someone will call you back" to no avail. We just moved to a new house and needed a whole new living room set. We bought a couch, loveseat, and some tables. We also bought a desk and chair. They told us 2-4 weeks on the couch and loveseat and up to 6 weeks on the desk & tables. We said that was fine & purchased. The in-store employees were great and really worked with us. 3 weeks later we hadn't heard anything since we left the store, so I decided to call. It took me 3 days to get ahold of them because I was constantly having to wait 15+ minutes on hold or they would turn on the closed answering machine before actual closing time. When I finally got ahold of them, they told me everything is taking longer than expected and they had scheduled our delivery for EVERYTHING 6/18. That is a month and a half after we ordered it, which is annoying, but fine. What made me the angriest is that no one called and told us. I was under the impression that we would have our couch and loveseat by now, but when I asked the woman on the phone if ANYTHING was in, she just said "no". Today is 6/2 and I still haven't heard anything from them. So I decided to call because I have seen others on here who have had their delivery date pushed back without any notification. After sitting on hold for 25 minutes, they finally answered & told me it was going to now be 7/11 for the couch, loveseat, & desk, the tables were out of stock, and the desk would still be 6/18. Again, NO ONE HAD CALLED TO TELL US THIS! So now I am on the phone to cancel our order, we have to now go find more furniture from somewhere else, and still have an empty living room. The company called and pushed the delivery back to Sat, then never delivered the chairs. Called customer service and they said the items were supposed to be delivered Oct 1 and not Sat. We ordered a sofa and loveseat 9 weeks ago and never received anything. We were quoted a delivery date about 4 weeks from our order date. We were never alerted about the delay. We called the store several times in the past few weeks and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. Several times we were told that someone would call us back and they never did. We ordered a 7 piece bedroom set at this location 5 weeks ago and still have not received our items!! Every person we speak to at the store or warehouse acts completely unaware of the problem and promises to call back with more info, however we have yet to actually receive a call back with an explanation for the delay. Considering this is small town and we were the ONLY customers in the store when we purchased the items, I'm appalled at the lack of urgency, disregard for customer satisfaction and extended delay in service/product delivery. We had gone to private furniture stores in the area before visiting Ashley,who were offering similar products for a slightly higher price ($150+), BUT these stores did promise a much faster delivery and were very customer satisfaction centered. In hindsight, I'd rather of spent the extra money to get the furniture in a timely manner and provided business to a company that had priority for the customer! We will not be returning to Ashely for additional purchases in the future. They have a beautiful showroom, but you CAN find these items elsewhere. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this store and its staff! Sheila is a breath of fresh air - someone who knows what customer service is. She went above and beyond in so many ways to make this a wonderful experience. It's obvious that she's not there just for a paycheck, she wants to make you happy and will take as much time as you need without suffocating you or pressuring. She reads body language well, she knew exactly when to walk away and allow me time to mull it over. Then, like magic she appeared to answer more questions and discuss options. But it doesn't stop there. Delivery was scheduled in a very appropriate time frame and the guys showed up ON TIME with my delivery. Watching Andrew and Lynjuan work together was poetry in motion. These young men function as one! They work that well together - fast, efficient, and polite. Of course there had to be something wrong or it's simply not believable - damaged pieces :( Andrew was on the phone and Austin to the rescue with a replacement before they even finished unloading. Austin earned his keep too as I discovered another very slight issue that was handled within the hour! Can't wait to get my house back in order and enjoy my beautiful new furniture! STAY AWAY, I purchased several thousands of dollars worth of furniture from this store, also purchased insurance that would supposedly repair furniture past the manufacturers warranty "just in case." Sofa (which was a several thousand dollar sofa) broke, manufacturer warranty repaired it. It broke again in the same place, insurance came out an looked at it, instead of replacing it, they want to repair it, well it is over two months, no repair, no nothing, cannot get them to answer the phone. We found a unique dining room table with stools attached. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We needed it delivered the following Saturday and they made contact on Friday with a 2 hour window. The delivery guys we very careful (delivered to a 3rd story apartment) when delivering and even had it wrapped for additional protection. We were very satisfied from beginning to end! read more

In the past year we've experienced very poor Management service at Ashley Furniture. The Manager at the Prattville,AL location is very unprofessional and very inconsiderate of the customer. 1st issue we ordered a sectional sofa for our home and the delivery drivers couldn't get it to fit because our hallway was narrow. They very hard to try to get the sofa to fit without tearing my hallway and doorway up. Long story short they had to take it back to the store. That weekend we went to meet the Mgr. to discuss what happened and to select another sofa that would fit. When we arrived at the store to discuss the issue with Mgr. he down graded the delivery drivers and acted as if they just didn't try hard enough and wasn't convinced that the furniture wouldn't fit. He just wouldn't except the fact we needed to select another couch. He kept insisting more ppl come out and try. I stated it won' t and you're not tearing up my walls to get a sofa in to prove a point. 2nd issue the Mgr. sold me and my wife a mattress that was out of stock and he said the warehouse Mgr. was bringing to the store. We waited at the store for at least 2 hours and we asked him for a update he called the warehouse Mgr. on the phone and the Mgr. was at home and mattress wasn't in stock. This was unbelievably unprofessional on the Store Mgr. behalf and he was very dispassionate about it. I needed a mattress so I had to buy one at a competitor not to mention I gave my old one away because I purchased one from Ashley furniture that wasn't even in stock.3rd issue my wife and I purchased a new bedroom suite for our 2 kids. We asked to be the last delivery of the day on our delivery day. The delivery driver contacted my wife and she explained she was 30 minutes out. The delivery knocked on my door at 14:01pm and they put a sign on my door at 14:05pm which was 4 minutes later. My wife got off work to meet the drivers and they only waited 4 minutes at my home before putting a sign on the door before leaving and said she was 30 minutes away. We can't make this up we have the video footage to show it. Spoke with Mgr. Requested a refund because once again we tore our kids beds down excited to get new ones. After talking with Mgr. his customer service skills were horrible as usual all talk no solution or customer concern. How important is a customer to Ashley Furniture? People work to hard for their money to be treated UNPROFESSIONAL by the Mgr. We cancelled that furniture order because I don't spend my hard earned money where I'm not appreciated.    Ashley has a horrible Mgr. at this branch they have a wonderful sales team and that's who my heart goes out to because when customers are mistreated the Mgr. in charge the sales team suffers and that's just not right? read more

Don't waste your time! I saw an advertisement for a couch so went by, looked at it and decided to buy it. After FINALLY getting someone to wait on me I asked if they had it in stock and salesman Norman Hansen stated they had two. I purchased it and they said the earliest Saturday delivery was in 2 weeks. The day before the scheduled delivery I received a call my "in stock" couch was now on backorder. I said I needed to speak to a manager and the lady said she was at a call center and I would have to call the actual store. I spoke with what I guess was the manager and explained my frustration. She acted like she couldn't care less. I guess I should have known by the looks of the store I was not dealing with professional sales personnel. Please do yourself a favor and do not shop there. And if they ever tell you they care about your satisfaction and would like to resolve your issues they are just displaying it on their web site for those people who read reviews. This is the absolute worst retail store I have ever been unfortunate enough to shop in. I spent over $3000 with them. They have made three deliveries to my house now over the course of two months and half of my order is still wrong. I have been waiting all this time with no couch in my living room and I still don't have one. My sales person Chris told me I was buying a bed for a certain price then when it was delivered all I got were mattresses and the side rails to the bed. He and his manager Shannon said that I would have to pay more for the head board and foot board. They delivered the wrong couches today and on the last delivery date they delivered only the footboard to my bed. We have had to make arrangements to leave work and meet the delivery guys three times now. After spending all this money and wasting so much of my time they keep getting my order wrong. i have been making purchases from ashley for years, with mostly satificaction of purchases. all changed when i purchase a leather power recliner back in jan-feb 2018. it has been nothing but a big mess with very dis respecting sales people and supervisors at the store. store management lady refered me to a response team. which are a groupe of women is all i have talked to. they would call me and then state i was making calls to them. complaining about problems i was having with a power recliner suppose to be full leather recliner where ever the body makes contact. first started with the leg lift not coming up, then it would raise to up postion sometime and then going down it would make a big twist sideways with a hard jerk. then i noticed little white pin head dots in the seat ,arms and back of chair and then it would turn to like a skin rash,spreading. i ask for a replacement chair of being made with leather material as they stated the chair was covered with.agreat full leather cover chair where the body came in contact with. but the team said they would send a service man out to correct problems. they sent out a part to repair the leg lift.a serviceman show up on saturday a couple of months later, he looked at part,said sorry they had sent the wrong part and left my home. i did call them and told them the repair man said it was the wrong part, he seen the condition of the suppose to be leather chair which it is not and recommed chair be "replaced."the team did not agree and said they sent more parts which i told them i did not receive.but they did not accept that at all. this july 27th and the chair is still in my house in terrible condition.some parts came just two days ago. they are sending out the same old kind of material to replace on the chair,repair people have canceled coming out for many times,just dont understand their position. chair needs to be replaced with a unit with good functionds and made of full leather,not junk like is on this chair. they (team) said wait more parts were being shipped to my home before another scheduled date to repair.it does not need repairs but replaced.which they just refuse to do and think it is funny and know it is not the quality of chair they stated it to be, and just do not care. im a 83 year old man that has had a stroke and i just do not need this in my life. i cant even sit in a chair with comfort. where i have to spend a lot of my daily life in.wife passed and i live all alone. but they know and it is obivious they do not care. when i get thru this mess with ashley i will never return there for any of my needs. unless they change their position and get me the chair i purchased. leaving it open, proably stupid to do or expect anthing different after all at this time. if you are ever refered to their team for help watch out for the team supervisor "kiksha" nothing but talk takes no action to help correct you problem. and forget talking to any one at the store in prattville alabama. owner or supervisor. been seven months still same problem. really be a big surprise to see a change and get a chair replacement as i purchased.??? big loss to me. there is our "god" whom everyone is responsible to sorry but they all will stand before one day (time). this is a true report by myself because i have lived with it. shamfull on all theses people at they call ashley furniture. read more
