    Sofa/recliner color stained by whatever clothing w/in a mo or so. This should not happen.  DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY'S

    DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY'S. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I have never experienced such poor customer service when it comes to addressing a warranty issue. I've been trying to work w/Ashley's Customer Care in regards to my white leather sofa & recliner for far too long now. I purchased the set in 2022. The problem started within the 1st mo. or so. Here we are in 2023 & still unresolved. I have 2 sections that immediately were color stained within the mo. or so, by normal usage (people just sitting on the sofa or recliner). Pretty sure the sofa & recliner had not been pretreated before leaving the warehouse. Quality leather shouldn't stain from clothing like that. I've owned a light buttercream leather sofa for 5 years that I purchased from Jordan's furniture in the past & it never absorbed the colors of clothes. I've asked Ashley's several times to help resolve this matter because it's covered by warranty, all I continue to receive is the run around. Every time I call, they say someone has called & left a message. Not true. I've only received 1 email & 1 voicemail from Ashley's & that was in the very beginning of this ordeal. They requested pictures. In response to their request, I had sent 2 emails with pictures, & a follow up phone call. Nothing came about. I called over & over & kept getting the same response which was that someone will get back to me. On 1-24-23, I had to forward that same email w/pics to Ashley's again because they couldn't find the 1st email (both emails sent to emailus@ashleycustomercare.com & GuestServices2@ashleyhs.com). I did receive confirmation from an Ashley Customer Care rep that the email was received. Still no resolution. FYI- all I did was forward original email to same email address it was originally sent it to, all while I was on the phone w/the rep. Funny how they can see emails when you stay on the phone w/them to confirm that they receive it. This is embarrassing. I won't let anyone sit on the middle or left section of the sofa worried if someone sits on that side of the sofa with any colored clothing, the sofa will absorb the colors. No one should have to worry so much about what guests are wearing while they sit on your furniture. Ashley's - Salem, NH had the same white sofa on display for a while. I didn't see it color stained & I'm sure plenty of people have sat on it. I was one of them. 3-4 mo. ago Ashley's finally sent out a 3rd party co. to supposedly resolve the matter. Guy shows up at 8pm (when he was supposed to arrive no later than 6), saying he was told to come clean it. He didn't even clean it. He only came in with a cell phone. No cleaning products of any kind. He took pictures & said he will report back to Ashley's within 10 days. Since the pointless visit, I called Ashley's a couple of times & was told that they still haven't heard from the 3rd party co. All they did was continue to give me fake apologies & lies about how they're going to have someone call me back to resolve. Nothing was been done. Before anyone says "Maybe she's not a clean person", my entire living room is mainly white with black, gold, & grey details. I keep it sharp looking. Called again today (8/4/23), was told they called and left a vm back on July 11. Which is a lie. I did not receive a voicemail from Ashley's that day. I check my vm daily. Ashley's tends to be the only co./people that claim to leave me a voicemail & somehow I never receive one. I have no problem receiving voicemails, or any other msgs from anyone else. I kept asking what number they're calling. Reps don't answer me when I ask. They carry on w/ the "I'm sorry". BTW, they just informed me that there is nothing they can do. They're claiming it is heat damage based on that unprofessional useless visit from their 3rd party contractor. I have central AC/Heat. I keep the temp in my place between 68-72 degrees all year round. Make that make sense. It was never a heat damage issue. It is an Ashley QC issue. Anything not to hold themselves accountable. Ashley's Furniture is a scam artist.

    DO NOT BUY FROM Ashley Homestore! It's a nightmare. Their furniture is not even that cheap... I bought two items: a counter height table and a sideboard (~$500) just to have them arrive both with damage. It was also a hassle to send them back- they won't even schedule a pick up for you (they are assuming that UPS will pick it up when it does). But how am I supposed to know when to put it out/ when will they come if they don't schedule a time? I had to call them back to issue me another tracking number to have UPS pick it up because UPS had already attempted 3 times. Also as a warning-- they only give you a 15% discount if it has any damage (regardless of the type of damage it has). The damage on sideboard was so visible (top front) that I would've only kept it if they gave me 75% off, but they only offered 15% off, so it wasn't worth it. UPDATE: It was such a hassle to get a new tracking number from UPS, the guy told me- "You are all set- you can just discard the item"... ???? I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 1 HR and he told me to JUST DISCARD THE ITEM... and that I will receive the refund 7-10 days from now, but no confirmation. I guess I'll have an update in the next couple of weeks...

    Cancellation Invoice- no refund ever received, refusing to give me my money back

    Never shop here. They are REFUSING to give me my money back for furniture that was never delivered. I have attached a copy of my cancellation invoice where it clearly says I paid CASH, and a check in the amount of $2,609.96 was issued on 02/22/22. I never received this refund check. Matt, the manager told me the new owner is refusing to write any refund checks. I have contacted Channel 7 News and Solve It 7. With the recent reviews on here, looks like there is a lot of bad business happening at this store. Avoid it. And if you read this review and would like to be a part of a lawsuit please contact me here on Yelp.

    We had no problems doing business with Ashley furniture. The woman that we dealt with was great. She told us it would have to be ordered in, and how long it would take. It arrived on time as she said. We looked a long time, at most of all the big name furniture stores, to find just the right kitchen set that would match our new kitchen we had just bought at the Lowe's store in Haverhill Mass. We would not hesitate to do more business with Ashley Furniture in the future.

He was nice and friendly to my daughter who was talking to him. At the end I asked him what could I purchase for the cloudiness of my pool. He said to try raising the ph first, that should help with the little cloudiness and if it didn't help to come back to get something else. I liked it because it felt he didn't push me to by something I might not need. It did solve the problem so I am a happy customer. I was there for a very short time but was a good overall experience.

    In 2010, I set out to walk halfway across America to raise awareness for foster children aging out…read moreof foster care and facing homelessness. Along the way, a group of generous supporters came together and purchased a beautiful bench from GoldenTeak, based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. They chose a bench for a reason. It represented the image of a homeless child with nowhere to go but a park bench to sleep. They went even further. They had a plaque engraved and placed on it, then presented the bench to Monroe Harding Children's Home--both to commemorate the walk and to thank them for all they do for abused and neglected children. Fittingly, Monroe Harding was also where I began my journey on January 1, 2010. Several years later, the historic Monroe Harding house closed after 150 years of service, though the organization continues its important work at another location in Nashville. Not long after the closure, I received a call asking if I would like to have the bench. I said yes. When I brought it home, I sanded it down and tried to restore it. It had weathered many seasons outdoors. That's when I noticed one of the feet was broken. I reached out to GoldenTeak about purchasing a replacement set, but they wouldn't let me pay. Instead, they told me it was their honor to provide the parts as a thank-you for raising awareness for these children. And I couldn't help but notice the symbolism. During my walk, I also broke a foot--my right foot--just five miles from the finish line. And just as GoldenTeak stepped up for the bench, Dr. Allen stepped up for me. Because of his help, I was able to complete all 1,700 miles... wearing a boot. That's the power of community. When something breaks, someone steps up. And together, we make it through. If you're ever looking for a high-quality bench, I wholeheartedly recommend GoldenTeak. At no point we're there any missing parts on my initial problem, a bolt was simply over torqued upon construction and finally fell out a week after having the chair. I only purchased the footstools once, so that's a lie. I gave her ample time (over a week) to communicate with the manufacturer in replacing footstools before writing my review. It is disheartening to see her respond to my review with bold face lies. Absolutely disgusting. Pictures show the bolt of my initial problem. Clearly not lost as she said in her follow up. 1 of several lies. Other picture is that of broken footstool which the other one broke the same way shortly after the first. Which were both purchased at the same time not multiple purchases per her, yet another lie on her behalf. Just please save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. Sally please feel free to ask me via email to take this one done too. I told you I was upset and might consider in due time. Then I came back to see you call me a liar. I was appalled and am still in shock reading for follow up. FYI these are here to stay.

    I purchased the Bobs Obsession mattress and Ultra adjustable base from the Salem NH store…read more Generally happy with my decision however the delivery was enough for me never to shop there again. They broke a lamp that was in the family and for decades and was given to my wife from her mother. Over the bed there is a ceiling fan with four lights if I wasn't there they would have destroyed that also. The adjustable base wasn't adjusted properly and they had to take the mattress off again to lower the legs on the base. A blind man could see that the base wasn't adjusted properly. The demo was pretty much useless because the two guys could barely speak English well enough for a person to understand what they were saying. So no demo. Called Bobs to complain and they never got back to me. I should have gone to Ashley Furniture.
