I ordered via Internet never knowing that it was not my local store. When te product was delievered it was not as I thought. I called by local Store Chuckwagon Dr. Springfield, IL. Darrely, McKenzie and Carrie were wonderful in helping me get the beautful chair I needed help coordiate the pickup with the delievery. They all went out of their way to help me. This was the best customer service I have ever had!!!! read more

We bought a couch from these folks. It was fine in the showroom but it was a disaster at home. So we called and they sent a tech to replace all the straps. No improvement on the huge holes and dips in the sofa. So we called and they ordered new cushions which we had to pick up. No improvement. We bought a piece of crap from Ashley. Don't make the same mistake. Move on down the list and leave Ashley and their crappy furniture out of your home and your life. read more

We bought our sectional From Ashley Furniture in Springfield, IL in January 2015. Within 18 months the middle section started breaking down & sinking in. We bought an extended warranty to only find out that it covered stains only. We spent more money for the best to only find out that this is not the case. We are stuck with a 3-piece sectional (which we can only sit on two of the sections) & out $1,700.00 Not worth the price at all in my mind. Tony Isringhausen read more

Josh Walton was our sales person at Ashley and found us the perfect set in less than 10 min. He went above and beyond to help make sure we had an easy and relaxed experience. I was so hopeful when I purchased my sectional from the store and the sales associated sold me on the extended warranty. Fast forward to November 2020 and my coach broke, I contacted Ashely Furniture and they told me I would need to go through GBS (the extended warranty company). Well they have told me they do not have an associated who services the area on a regular basis, and they are only out in my area every two weeks on a Tuesday. This is new to me and I was not provided this information when I purchased the extended warranty, nevertheless I schedule the technician to come out and repair the couch. The first time I call and schedule the appointment it was for November the 17. A repo from the company called stated the technician was involved in a car accident and they will need to reschedule. Rescheduled for Dec 4. Received a call stating they will need to reschedule the day before and the appointment was rescheduled to Dec 8, the appointment was canceled again, and it was rescheduled to Dec 15. II finally received a voicemail confirming the appointment date and time with the window for the appointment between 9 am and noon. I took off work to make sure I was at home to answer the door and oversee the work and guess what, nobody showed up!!! I am so upset with Ashley Furniture for false advertisement and GBS fraudulent claims about warranty service work. Do not by from ASHLEY FURNITURE and DO NOT GET extended warranty through the company GBS. read more

I will never shop at Ashley again. I recently bought a chair & had it delivered. I walked into the room after hearing a loud noise & found one of the delivery drivers trying to carry a shoe bench out of the way, & immediately asked him to please stop dragging that because I had just had brand new floors installed a month earlier. I didn't notice until they left that he had replaced the bench & left the broken pieces of particle board that had served as part of the shoe divider, just leaving it laying without even telling me he broke it. Later, I looked closer at the top of the stairs where he was dragging the bench, & found a deep scratch going across the boards. I took photos of the damaged floor & bench, called the flooring company & had my flooring installer come to give an estimate on the scratch, & submitted everything to the delivery supervisor. I just received a call stating that they will cover the broken bench but not to have the new flooring fixed. Ricky, the supervisor, claimed that I told him I didn't see the man drag the bench & scrape the floor & accused me of changing my story. Three coworkers were in the office during both conversations that I had with him & witnessed my unchanged story. I also bought our dining set from there a few years ago & had to return several chairs that we were unable to assemble due to damaged & incorrect drill holes, then wait an inordinate amount of time for the new chairs to arrive, as well as pick them up ourselves. The first incident with the chairs was frustrating. This debacle with my floor, damaged furniture, & basically being told I am lying about what happened when it is actually the delivery guy changing his story, is completely unacceptable. read more

Huge selection. Ron was very kind and patient with me as I sat on a least 20 couches on Black Friday. I didn't want to finance and didn't have the cash for the purchase at the time. So I've been back numerous times checking the price. Both my teenage sons love the couch too. Finally made the purchase. Black Friday sale was better but still good pricing and better selection compared to other places. read more
