Highly recommend Sam's Best Brands Plus. We purchased a washer and dryer set in April 2025 as well as ordered new recliners after moving here from out of state. Jeremy was recommended to us by a dear friend and we're so glad we took her advice. We were very happy with the knowledge Jeremy had and was able to answer all of our questions, as well as give us tips and additional information. I do not feel they deserve 1 star but there isn't an option for none!!! They delivered to my home a $3,900.00 refrigerator that did not work! the ice maker does not work properly and the inside lights of fridge stay on 24/7!!! When I contacted Sams the response was we will send someone out to repair it. i was not in agreement with this because it NEVER worked therefore they brought me a broken refrigerator. after many phone calls etc I agreed to let there service people come THREE different times with THREE different parts. Now SAMS say I have to allow another company to look at!! NOPE WONT HAPPEN. shame on SAMS BEST BRAND. You do not back your appliances!!!! I will be contacting the BBB and my attorney about this matter. NEVER SHOP SAMS BEST BRANDS!!!! They take advantage of their customers and offer nothing but EXCUSES!!!! read more

DW price was reasonable. Install price was $150..my parents thought thinknthat isboutragous. I spoke with 2 diff people at the store with scheduling install, very specifically with my needs. I said if you cannot install then I understand we can schedule a diff time. (I had to arrange a person at my house to be there when install happened. They drove 35 miles to be there.) I heard oh no problem it only takes 30 mins. I called to confirm and again, oh no problem, install guy has Petersburg, Chatham, and Springfield, it will be easy. Install guy calls and says he is on his way from Decatur!!?? Not within the time frame, so my help drove 35 miles for nothing. Install guys said "30 mins?? It takes 1:15." And the people in store were reading delivery schedule not install schedule...2nd person, the confirmer, I talked to was Sam, part owner. I spoke 4 times with people on the phone from the store. The 4th person lied and contradicted himself several times within that phone call. I was told Sam, the owner, would call me...never heard from him. Install guy was professional and kind. And took 1:15 (later date reschedule install). This is the 1 star reason..otherwise I would give a zero. read more

Several months ago we began a major kitchen project to totally replace our appliances, cabinets, countertops etc. We went to Sam's after a friend's suggestion and that was the one and only stop we made. Sam was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional & competitive. The entire staff and installers were excellent - not a single problem or glitch. I spent 3000 on a freezer, couch and ordered a chair to "match" the couch. It took at least 5 months if not more to finally get the chair which was not grey and did NOT match the couch it was more blue. The chair broke after a month. I called the store they said they would order the part. 4 mths later the part came in. I had to call the store numerous times to ask about the part and got an "Oh yeah the part just came in"???? But, I am an hour away therefore, I am out of their service area I will have to bring the chair to them. I called and talked to several men without any resolution to this god awful matching chair that was 800.00. The salesman Kyle and all the men we talked to were very rude and not helpful in resolving this mess. I am urging everyone to "NOT" buy from this store. Terrible customer service!!!!!! we purchased a refrigerator and sectional sofa in late April 2018 our total was over $5000. By early May, I called to complain of a section of "back rest" cushions sagging significantly, beginning with delivery and progressing worse each passing day. the salesman Roger who sold us the purchase told me once it's out the door its my problem, when I referred to our "warrenty" he said he would send a tech out to put extra stuffing in. I said I could accomplish that my self. Now in October, in adition to the extremely sagging back cushion, 5 of the 7 pillows that came with the couch have "busted" seams, or tears right off the seams that are not repairable in my opinion. Bought our GE dishwasher here and when it malfunctioned within the first year a repair woman came out to fix it. She was great, so she's why Sams earned 1 star. The next time it malfunctioned a repairman came out and damaged our cabinets when he was repairing the dishwasher. He then went back to the store and lied about it. Luckily we took pics and the store manager covered the cost to fix. The dishwasher is malfunctioning yet again but now it's out of warranty, repairman was supposed to come Sat to fix it and didn't show up, nor did he call to reschedule. Needed to replace all of our kitchen appliances as they were about 23 yrs old and something was wrong with each one of them. Went to Sam's and talked to Jeremy. He was very knowledgeable about all the features on each item we looked at and helped us compare similar items. We settled on a fridge, range, dishwasher, and microwave. The install crew was very efficient and professional. They arrived at the scheduled time, and had everything hooked up and hauled away the old stuff all in a very short time. We couldn't be happier. I don't think it's just luck. The day my 70's era dryer broke, I headed over to Sam's Best Brands Plus. Wouldn't you know- they had a clearance sale on a high end dryer AND the clearance price was several hundred cheaper than the cheapest new dryer I could find anywhere else. Installation was included in my purchase as was a 4 year full-warranty (I don't know if these benefits apply to every purchase). It's now been two years and the dryer hasn't missed a beat. More recently, the evaporator fan motor on my fridge died. I called everywhere in town including the place the previous owner of my house bought the fridge. No luck. No repairmen or parts. I don't know why I overlooked Sam's Best Brands Plus, but it was the last place I called. The person on the line said "I doubt we have any evaporator motors in stock, let alone one you might be looking for, but give me the part number and I'll check." They had two! Not only did they have two, but their price matched the going rate on the internet. I bought the fan and installed it that Saturday (two days sooner than anyone would be even able to "look" at it, let alone order the appropriate part). As a bonus, they also carry unmarked-up filters for this fridge (apparently the filters are no longer made). TL;DR: They carry fairly priced items, are both helpful and creative in assisting you with your needs, and most of all they are honest and knowledgeable. read more

They have gained my business for any of our appliance needs! First of all when we bought our new washer, their prices were great, but their employees were the best. Competent, and very helpful. So 3 years later we have trouble with the latch on our washer. And I couldn't track down the receipt. I called, and I wish I knew the name of who I talked to...they were great! So helpful and looked up our warranty. The repair man was here the next day, and the part was ordered. I expressed the need for our washer...we have 5 young kids, so going to a laundry mat would be torture, and laundry piles quickly here. He called on Saturday (his day off) and came and fixed our washer!! I couldn't have been more impressed with how they think of their customers!! If you are looking for people that actually know what they are talking about, and are willing to help through the whole life of your appliance...THIS is the place to go! I bought a full size mattress, box spring and mattress cover from Sam's. I told them it was for my special needs daughter who has spina bifida and other issues. I needed this mattress to last and wanted to make sure it had a warranty incase anything should happen. I was told that AS LONG AS I BOUGHT THE MATTRESS COVER AND MATRESS AT THE SAME TIME THE WARRANTY WAS GOOD. Fast forward three years and the mattress cover is defective and leaked. We didn't realize it was leaking because it was absorbing in to the mattress. Now I have a mattress that is urine soaked and so last year I called them, I was told that I did not register the mattress cover so the warranty is no good. ARE YOU KIDDDING ME? I specifically asked about the warranty because I knew my daughter had special needs and we needed this mattress to last. Would you like to know what Tanners first response was when I called? Tanner stated "I have never heard of a mattress cover being defective. I own them and it has never happened". So I took the mattress cover to the store to prove that it was defective. his next response was ..... "You should have read the package it says right on there that you have to register your mattress cover. I always read through the packages of anything new I get". REALLY. I took the word of your sales associate that as long as I bought both from you that they were covered. The package he is referring to, yeah, if the wording is on that package that you have to register it first, it must be ant size because anything that is normal size doesn't say it. Fast forward to now. I still have a urine soak mattress that my daughter has to sleep on because I can't afford to replace a 900 mattress. Then lets talk about the king size mattress we bought a few months after the full. It dipped on both sides. My husband and I are not obese, there is no reason this should have happened. I have yet to get that resolved. I did however get a nice text this morning how my review I left on google was inaccurate and they have great customer service. You want to prove your great customer service? Get me two new mattresses and honor the warranty you promised me when I bought your product so that my daughter with special needs isn't sleeping on a disgusting mattress that we have to wrap now because of a product you sold to me. That is what customer service is. Not avoiding the 5 phone calls I have made to your store. The store manager has YET to return one of them. Not telling me how this is my fault and how I should have read the package when you delivered them to me. That is not customer service. So you want me to change my review of your company? Honor your warranties as stated when I was in your store buying my merchandise and I will be happy to change my reviews and talk about your outstanding customer service! read more

Have used them a number of times within the last 3 yrs for all new kitchen appliances, a dehumidifier, as well as for our son who purchased new washer and dryer as a first time home owner. Their sales staff know their stuff! We had gone back numerous times before we purchased because I wanted to check online consumer reports before we decided. Every time we went back, their staff took their time with us. We have had a few of their installers and they are the best in town! They came, measured our fridge just to make sure it would fit through the door and fit under our upper cabinet. The dishwasher installer leveled it, checked what product we'd use to clean so it was adjusted correctly and made sure it ran and was quite before he left. They unpack, take the trash and polished everything before they leave. They even took care of our rebates for us! We've never been disappointed. read more

Do not waste your money. If you want the cold impersonal treatment of a large box store AND you want to pay more go to these guys. Called them out to do a diagnosis on my dishwasher. After complaining there was nothing he could do because he could not turn the water off i turned off the main water line. He then pulled it out, told me it was shot, then pushed it back in kinking my copper line. Went to their store, was going to buy a washer and have it ready but their installer said he wanted a plumber to do some extra work first because it needed to be 'up to code'. Have friend who is a plumber asked him he said there is no such thing in code the guy was just being lazy. Absolutely worthless, went to Lowes paid 200 dollars less and talked to a much nicer sales guy who helped me figure out how i could just install it myself. Local is better? not with these ass clowns. read more
