Imagine my further surprise when my annual skin check was rushed and was done in about a minute and a half, and the other minute and a half was spent telling me how to and the importance of wearing sunscreen. Imagine my further surprise to learn that such a poorly done, passive, extremely rushed service would charge 279 dollars to my insurance provider. As surprising and disappointing as all of that was-- imagine my surprise when my HSA card was locked down because they charged me erroneously at the desk. So, upon calling to have the erroneous charge that PPSD should have never charged to begin with refunded to the HSA card, they informed me that they could only send refunds out by check in the mail and that it would take 60 days-- as in 2 months-- for them to do so. When asked why this would take 2 months for them to complete, I was told "Because we have a lot of refunds and we are backed up." Inexcusable, Terrible experience from the minute I walked in the door until several months after leaving it. Never again.

Are you better?") in the uptown office, and being left to cool my heels in an exam room for 30 minutes past my appointment time for the laser consult I wanted, before I ghosted them -and I never got the the original reasons that I went to this practice in the first place. I had such high hopes for resolution of a few minor issues. Now, I'm worse off than when I started this process. A big shoutout to Tracey and Dr. Munavalli who took the time when I had to have some minor surgery. Dr. Munavalli actually listened to the fact that numbing does not normally work on me. Other Doctors seem confused by that fact and refuse to help find a solution. He took the time to devise a cocktail of different numbing solutions. It's the first time in my life I did not feel cutting or stitching. Special shoutout to Tracey the nurse that helped me both times. Thank you to Leila my PA who helped find the spots that needed treatment. And I love your personality! My fair skin does not make for great dermatology visits but everyones' attitude and understanding of my needs makes this the favorite dermatology office I've been to. Only one minor issue, both of my surgical appointments they were running behind. The first was 50 minutes, the second was 1 hour 10 minutes. It would be nice if you had a way of notifying us at check in so we could make it down to the cafe for lunch before they close.
