I would not recommend working with Jeremy based on my experience as a subcontractor…read more Our crew performed several days of framing and repair work on his project, including correcting existing framing issues, roof and fascia repairs, sheeting, garage framing, gable work, blocking, straightening studs, and other work that was requested while we were on the job. We also supplied some materials out of pocket. When it became clear we couldn't complete the remaining work within his requested timeline, we communicated that directly and told him he should bring in another crew so we wouldn't hold up his project. We then requested payment only for the work we had already completed and materials we supplied. Unfortunately, payment for the completed work became a dispute. Our crew still had payroll and expenses associated with the work that was performed, regardless of whether we completed the entire project. If you're a subcontractor considering working with Jeremy, make sure you have a very clear, detailed contract before starting. Spell out exactly what is and isn't included in your price, and require written change orders for any additional work. In our experience, additional items were added to the scope without additional funds being agreed upon. Document everything--scope of work, changes, additional requests, materials, hours, and payment terms. Based on my experience, I would not work with him again. Choosing a concrete contractor was difficult experience. We refused to use one of the many "Chuck…read moreWith a Truck" guys and insisted on using an established local company. After receiving several bids, we chose Richardson Concrete of Shelley, Idaho, to replace our crumbling 57-year-old driveway, main entrance walkway, street gutter, curb and sidewalk. Richardson Concrete is busy -- a good sign -- so it took months to get the job scheduled and underway. But once it was, they were prompt, reliable, skilled and professional. The workers were friendly, polite, respectful, and responsive to questions and concerns. We have more deteriorating concrete to replace, and we definitely will consider using Richardson again. Now, for the few bugs that emerged: -- A worker left boot prints in the wet concrete of a sidewalk square and on the existing concrete, which Richardson promptly replaced; -- A thin, easy-to-miss crack in an entryway square developed, which Richardson offered to resolve however I wanted it to be. After consulting with their finisher, who arrived ready to fix it however I wished, I decided to live with it and see how it developed; -- Specks of concrete splatter hit the house siding, perhaps because the crew didn't cover the siding with plastic sheeting, as I think they should have. This hasn't been resolved as of this writing. -- I found Richardson Concrete to be busy, and for good reason. They are professional, responsive, honest, and pleasant to work with. Just be prepared to wait, perhaps months, to move up in their schedule.

I was really impressed initially with Nate when we decided to work with them. However things went…read moresouth right before Christmas. My install was a couple weeks before. Communication was great between me and the installer, but communication stopped a few days after. Talked with Nate and he told me the installer was mad because I kept bugging about issues I had when my husband was saying everything was fine. First off I'm the one who's name is on the bill, who made the appointment and paid for it. My number is the only one Nate and the installer had. My husband has had a stroke (which I shouldn't have to explain) he is unable to speak well and cannot relay information correct do to brain damage. There was a piece of vinyl flooring that was defective and I spoke to the installer about this But it was brushed off. They came to look at it and literally blamed me for it. This would be a miracle since no other piece around it was damaged. They made me feel horrible and I was super let down. I still have concerns about some things, and have no one to trust. I paid a lot of money for this and it was a huge step for me since we've never done anything this big in over 20 years. They did fix it but it doesn't feel good to not be happy with the job.
